My wife and I just returned from our 5 day trip to Manti. We had a blast. Got chased out by a thunderstorm with sleet one day. We will definitely return. Hopefully a fall trip next time. Now I understand what you meant by "rocky snotty." A wonderful trip to remember.
Another breathtaking video! I know what you mean by rocky terrain. A few years back, I crawled up “Pryor Mountain” with my Jeep. “White Knuckled” it almost all the way up. But when you reach the top, it’s breathtaking. This is home to wild mustangs, absolutely beautiful horses. To see them in their own environment is amazing. It borders Montana and Wyoming. We actually found out there’s another way up the mountain (after the fact)! But it was a wonderful experience! God bless you and your lovely wife! 👍🏻😊
We loved watching this 3-part series, looking forward to your next multi-day ride! Thank you both for filming so much & sharing your insights with the off-road community ✌
Have been enjoying your videos since the very first one! Thank you for sharing these experiences - so very beautiful out West. Looking forward to more adventures! Stay well-
Can you estimate how far you have to ride from Temple Hill Resort to get on the trails? We've got 4 nights booked at Palisade State Park in mid September, and I'm looking for another place to camp for a couple of days to ride other areas of the trail. Temple Hill Resort is one of the campgrounds recommended on the Arapeen website, but having never been there it would be good to have some input from someone with experience in the area.
I should have watched to the end of the video before I typed my question, as you pretty well answered my concerns. My RZR 900S is a 60" machine, so it would be good to know when you are linking to a 50" trail. The shot of you squeezing through a 50" gate in your machine was informative. Thank you!
Another well put together trail ride! I love those trails around Manti. Thanks for sharing all these rides you take. I know it takes a great amount of effort and time to put these together.
It looks like your Day 3 was a little less exciting than day 1 and 2 were. We just returned from Manti (I'll send you a link when we get out video done) last night. You are right that you'd better be prepared to ride if you're going down there. Most of the trails are not for beginners. Our first day was absolutely great and the second day we had a breakdown that kind of consumed our early afternoon and had to be pulled off the mountain. But, overall, I think Manti is a wonderful place to ride.
I agree. We really enjoyed it. We really had a good day on day 3, we were just so dang tired from the day before that we just didn't film as much. 😆 But it was a great trip. Thanks for watching, and I look foreword to watching your video. 👍
I have been thinking about getting some tusk terrabite tires for my maverick trail are the 27x9x12s really 27" tall? not many tires that are 28" that will fit on 12" wheels hate to buy new wheels to just wanting a little more ground clearance . Thanks
They aren't 27 inches. They are an inch taller than the 26's that come stock, but the Terrabites end up just over 26.5" at 13psi. I gained about 5/8 of an inch of ground clearance when I put the Terrabites on. Nothing major, but it helped.
Well done. I was kind of surprised you thought the Arapeen was that rough. Sure, it's got some rocky stuff, but overall, it's smoother than anything we have along the Wasatch Front or the Uintas. Maybe I'm biased because I literally grew up on the Arapeen, but I like it better than the Paiute. The Paiute is kind of a tourist trail system to me. Sure, it's got some jewels and some tricky 50" stuff, but a lot of it is TOO smooth and nice. I don't like roads and trails that I could see a Honda Civic or a Subaru on. I like atv trails.
Great videos. We've been head south from northern Idaho the last of October. Is it to late to ride Utah in early October or should we plan on early September?
We ride the Paiute every year the last week of September/first week of October and have had very good luck with Fall colors at that time. You should be good with way. 👍
Great series. I really enjoy watching this series. I'm talkin the wife into coming along with me and going on this trail. Were there many 50" trails to be aware of? Keep up the good work.
36 was an amazing 50 inch trail. 29 was good too until we ran into that mud bog and had to turn around. If you're in the neighborhood of trail 36 you should check it out. 👍
You have put together some great videos. We're exploring a SxS purchase and seeing your experiences has really fueled the fire. Thank you!
I appreciate that very much ! Thank You !
Love watching your videos. Even going back to these old ones. Thanks for the work you two do.
Thank You !

We really enjoyed our trip there. It's a beautiful place for sure.
Great video. You should try having your base station out of Joe's Valley Reservoir, trails in all directions.
Another breathtaking video!

WOW, still tons of snow up there at 7:35
Good review at the end.
Thanks ! Yeah, there was still one big snow bank blocking the road in one place across the top.
Great ride, beautiful country.
Thanks for Watching !
Great video have put on list to places to go. 😀
It's awesome ! I'll be putting it on my "once per year" list for sure. 👍

Thank You for the kind words ! Thank you for watching.
I enjoyed your 3 part series of the arapeen trail. We have not been on trail 1097 or 51. How do you clean your air filter and how often
I don’t really clean it. I just replace it every Spring. I take it out now and then to knock what dust off I can, but I don’t really clean it.
I can’t wait to go back home and reconnect with these mountains I miss them so much

So how steep was the 1097 out of Manti up to the 51? Doable on an ATV? The area looks steep from the highway. Headed down for the 4th..
I don't remember anything specific, but none of them were very nerve racking. Nothing I wouldn't do on an ATV.
Great video. What time of year is this?
This was just a few months ago. End of June
@@MyATVlife thanks
What year is yur Can-am & why no wind shield ? I am thinking about getting a trail also !
Mine is a 2018. Purchased it in October of 2017. We wear helmets, so we don't really need a windshield.

@@MyATVlife Thanks for the reply trying to decide what tires to get alot more choices if I had 14" wheels.
Well done.

I don't mean to sound overly critical of the Arapeen. We really did enjoy it. The ruggedness of it (I think) gives it its "charm" in a lot of ways.

We’re these 50” trails?
Didn't really find any on day three. It doesn't seem like there are many left on the Arapeen.
