Bent 11 Valves, What Now? Engine Head Repair
HTML-код

- 💭 One of our cars decided to jump engine timing and with it being an interference configuration, the pistons slammed into the valves… a bunch of times. The only way to fix it, pull the head and replace the valves. I've never done something like this before, but here's another first for everything!

Heh, and the water pump was leaking. I did change it out later but it’s running skrong 💪🏾 and no issues.
Good job B, did you save your self a grand or so on labor ✌️
Big facts
That came back from the shop so cleeeeean
Dude I could’ve eaten off it. It was immaculate. I didn’t want to install it. 😂
Good job.
Good job. Nice you have local shop that could do the head work as well.
How much did they charge you if you don't mind me asking? I have have jeep 3.7 that needs the heads done.
$375 including installing 11 valves.
That's not bad! Ty for the video 😊
Not at all and it’s been running fantastic for months no prob. 🤙🏾
Bikes are vehicles 😂.
😂😂 they are today
Job well done.
A few hundred dollar belt can cause so many issues if never replaced probably every 100,000 miles. Most gas cars last 12-15 years 150-200,000 miles. Cost of repairs more than value of car. My Tesla has 500,000 miles still like new. Never been to service center. Only maintenance tires and wiper fluid. They are forever cars. Battery still holds a 90% charge. Only 80 moving parts in an EV vs thousands in a gas car.
@Starship007: Your Dealer Ad for Tesla is too late , sales will keep on diving .
Aye, Teslas are cool but those batteries go for other owners a lot sooner. I’m still interested in doing a motorcycle EV conversion at some point and learning more about them. No time soon for my primary vehicles tho!
