As for the question of why did Nolan waited so long to carrying out his mission...I assume it has everying to do with Mark getting his powers. I think he probably would have tried to stall long enough for both his wife & child to grow old and pass away naturally, but as soon as Mark gained his Viltrumite powers, he knew Mark would live just as long as him, meaning that there was no longer a point in stalling the inevitable anymore.
Not really. Nolan was given 500 years to get the Earth ready for invasion. When he arrived on Earth he quickly determined that there was nothing on the planet that could stand against him, little alone an invasion force. So, he started his secondary mission, which was to mate with the indigenous population to see if they would be good breeding stock for Viltramaties. @@subhradeepgogoi7214 okay cool, I should have mentioned that it was my understanding but glad that you could clarify! Although i haven't read the whole comment as it felt somewhat spoilerish.
Omniman didn't want to kill mark. The reason he waited so long to kill the guardians is because he loved debbie and mark. He was going to wait until they died of old age before doing anything. When mark got his powers he knew he couldn't do that anymore.
In the comics, there's some kind of explanation on why Mark was so important to the Vultramite plan (repopulate). Which is why he was so upset when Mark got his powers - it was time to stop slacking off and get to the business of conquering Earth.
The whole fight scene and pointless destruction wasn’t Omniman trying to convince his son. It was about trying to convince himself that his heart is still with the Viltrumites. If Mark had never gotten powers, Nolan wouldn’t have gone through with trying to conquer Earth
I think it's important have these stories. We may not have literal superheroes but speculative fiction is how we explore aspects of our world without the biases and weight of real issues. We can discuss race and class and abuse with aliens instead of people. We can control how much we align these concepts to personal ones at our own pace. That's important.
The part about the viltrumites slicing each other like butter was to show that the remaining viltrumites that survived the purge were nearly indestructible compared to those that were easily dispatched.
I am personally very able to differentiate a more light-hearted tone like the Avengers from Invincible. I wouldn’t look that deep into it Jaby. Being more violent gives them way more potential for insane action scenes and emotional feats.
Excellent voice work from Steven Yeun and J.K. Simmons but especially from J.K. Simmons, you can feel the conflicted emotions going on in Nolan's head as speaks to Mark but you can also feel the emotion and anger in Steven's voice.
You’re dead on about Omniman probably telling himself that he can just get Mark on his side and holding back. Also, Viltrumites seem to get stronger & faster the more they use those abilities… and tougher the more they get seriously roughed up. Mark’s nowhere near on the level of his dad, especially his strength, but I think all his nasty losses actually did make him tougher than he otherwise would be.
@@ninjaasmoke That's exactly what that toxic 304 was doing, the audacity of that girl, I know you just got beaten up by your dad in front of God and the whole world and I know he's probably done irreparable psychological damage to you because of the sadistic things he did to you and literally made you do but now you know how I felt when you didn't tell me your secret 🤦🏾♂️.
@@brotherderin -- Her sense of entitlement in that moment is both outrageous and utterly breathtaking. I hope Mark moves on to bigger and better things.
When Omni-Man says to Mark, "what's 17 more years, I can always make another kid". If the writers of this series are going with the direction from the comics, then that was some great subtle foreshadowing there.
Omni man explained it. he said he was sent to weaken the planet by himself so that they don't have to lose any more viltrumite. That's why he waited and gained trust of the Guardians of the globes. While waiting he fell in love and Mark was born that's why he waited to be sure if Mark will have his power.
kind of a small spoiler but it answers one of jaby's question . . . . . the explanation given in the comics is that human dna is the most compatible with viltrumite dna, its like a perfect match, and the viltrumite population is very small, now yall can put two and two together

2:53 Soooooooo, Achara thinks that Mark should do totally nothing to stop Omni-Man just because he isn't ready and let his father pretty much enslave the whole Earth. Great idea!
What I just realized is that it’s a good thing Mark went thru this. Like nolan said your a vultrimite in blood only. Your education begins now. Viltrumite are much tougher and meaner. Granted if more viltrumites came to earth they would consider mark weak and would kill him. So this toughens Mark up.
he DID go about taking over once he landed. first he had to learn about the planet (him getting with debbie), then he became a hero to gain the love and adderation of the planet, then he had the guardians there who had to plan to take out and then he had mark which slowed him down. if there was no mark he would just did the hero thing, got everyone on his side and then said "ok, welcome to viltrum empire"
WTH, this was edited in a way that cut out the most interesting parts. No "Think Mark, you dad..." I suppose it was to watch the video on patreon. So, a waste of time.
16:28 Omniman just didn't want to kill him If he wanted, he could have snapped Mark's neck and he wouldn't even have time to react, Mark is too weak compared to regular Viltrumites And also, the ones killed in the flashback were also the most "weak"
He's weaker by virtue of being younger. Not because he's just inherently weak. They get stronger as they age like vampires. However, every one of these battles he survives he gets stronger upon recovery. A viltrumite who survives enough beatings, even though younger, can potentially get stronger than an older viltrumite who has only fought weaklings and never struggled.
Jabby always finds a way to confuse the hell outta me at the end of videos with his rants that don't go anywhere, I always forget to click off after the reaction part😂🤣
Im watching this again after long time and man this thing hits hard Omni-man was just born this way like many other viltrumites they dont know whats mean love or sympathy they are born just to conquer nothign else. Personally i think Omni man isnt rly bad he is just doing what he must because if not him diffrent viltrumite will come and do his job
Wait until the other Viltrumite appears. It's ultra next level escalation that you don't see coming. As a matter of fact, one of the best villain already made a cameo in the Viltrum flashback.
That episode was off the chain and I had a feeling that his people was the reason he did what he did in the first episode when Omni-Man said in a later episode to the Alien Commander that "This planet is not yours to conquer". I wonder if Omni-Man went back to his people to tell them that Earth was a bust and humans nuke the planet trying to kill him. So that the planet is useless to Viltimites in hopes of preventing them from coming there. I can't believe Amber had the nerve to show up think she could just step back into someone's life after being so F'd up to them and Mark for being stupid enough to take her back. I've lost some respect for his character. He's just a glutton for punishment. Ok, the part where William and Amber thought Atom Eve was Dupli-Cate had to be a joke because they look nothing alike. Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌out.
I felt so bad for Debby. She had no idea whom she married. Bad enough he called her a pet, but then says that her life is basically meaningless and only exist to make babies. All while she heard and saw it all in 4K. That poor woman. Even after everything Omni Man put his own son through, Mark STILL loves his father! Season 2 is gonna get even scarier and wild. I'm both excited and terrified lol.
Damn! Had to skip the emotional parts. The baseball game and the like "You. I'll still have... you." Still, that part was heat shattering. That, and Red Rush's wife saying "He's finally standing still, and I still can't see him." Why are there no awards for the best lines in movies and shows? "Best kiss." I don't' give a fuck unless it's lesbian, give me best qutoes.
"You dad. I still have you" that was the part it made me feel something. I was waiting for your reaction for that part but it's cut out in this video guess it's only on patreon . 💔
Honestly, that was a horribly edited video. It felt like a lot of the hard hitting emotional lines were left out. Most notably ya left Omni-man’s line about what would Mark have left after 500 years and delete Mark’s answer of, “You Dad. I’d still have you.” That’s the gut punch line. And then Nolan’s anguished look as he realized how he had failed his son. CHEF’S KISS!!! And it was left on the cutting room floor. Terrible!!
Y'all should reconfigure the playlists. Especially the reactions. Create specific playlists for trailers, movies, tv shows, games, etc. Instead of lumping them all up under "reactions" it makes it tedious going through that long list search for specific stuff to watch.

There are different toughness factors for them. Some are just tougher than others based on age and genetics. For instance, Omni is very powerful, but he isn't the strongest - the difference between him and the strongest is very substantial. For example, Battle Beast would have killed him for sure. I'm being careful not to give spoilers, but yes higher level characters like Omni and Mark can (and do) get maimed or eviscerated - but keep in mind they do have a light healing factor. Their DNA does in fact rewrite (or heavily influence) the DNA of other species and you will see a very solid example of that next season I would imagine.
They cut out “you, dad, I’d still have you,” but they leave in Amber working in the soup kitchen. 🤣

If Mark hadn't gotten powers. He would have waited for his wife and son to die of old age before he conquered Earth.
@@donemu9096 This is the real answer.
I think it's important have these stories. We may not have literal superheroes but speculative fiction is how we explore aspects of our world without the biases and weight of real issues. We can discuss race and class and abuse with aliens instead of people. We can control how much we align these concepts to personal ones at our own pace. That's important.
The viltrum scene fight was that there was weaker viltrums that were killable. So they just showed the weakest dying to save time on story.
The part about the viltrumites slicing each other like butter was to show that the remaining viltrumites that survived the purge were nearly indestructible compared to those that were easily dispatched.
Your point about “not needing the show” made zero sense. It’s literally the opposite, we are flooded with PG-13 superhero shows.
Nolan's a good father, he cares about Mark. He always takes him to subway, how nice of him.
🤣
I am personally very able to differentiate a more light-hearted tone like the Avengers from Invincible. I wouldn’t look that deep into it Jaby. Being more violent gives them way more potential for insane action scenes and emotional feats.
Excellent voice work from Steven Yeun and J.K. Simmons but especially from J.K. Simmons, you can feel the conflicted emotions going on in Nolan's head as speaks to Mark but you can also feel the emotion and anger in Steven's voice.
they did NOT skip the "you, Dad. I'd still have you" in the editing, haha
Ya, he definitely gets stronger after each fight. I even think Mark's powers manifested because of that first fight.
Amber's the definition of a self-centered narcissist, calling her trash would be a complement.
"I guess I wasn't the only one getting lied to"
seriously? is she seriously comparing what happened to her with what's happening to him?
@@ninjaasmoke That's exactly what that toxic 304 was doing, the audacity of that girl, I know you just got beaten up by your dad in front of God and the whole world and I know he's probably done irreparable psychological damage to you because of the sadistic things he did to you and literally made you do but now you know how I felt when you didn't tell me your secret 🤦🏾♂️.
@@brotherderin -- Her sense of entitlement in that moment is both outrageous and utterly breathtaking. I hope Mark moves on to bigger and better things.
This episode was pure man of Steel vibes with r rated added on top. Just perfect
React to demon slayer one of the best new gen anime

Yea can’t wait to see that hashira with scars fight!!! Dude is dope

@@simplysketch7282 couldn't agree more man
That mid ass plot 😂😂🤦♂️
Omniman IS THE NICE Viltrum...... he was trying to beat some sense into him....cuz when the other vilturm come aint gonna be easy
While waiting he fell in love and Mark was born that's why he waited to be sure if Mark will have his power.
kind of a small spoiler but it answers one of jaby's question

the explanation given in the comics is that human dna is the most compatible with viltrumite dna, its like a perfect match, and the viltrumite population is very small, now yall can put two and two together
_Eagerly waiting for Season 2!!_
Also, I want them to *dub* it in other languages (like *Hindi*), just so I could recommend it to all my friends who are not that comfortable with English Shows!
I love the Conquest cameo❤
2:53 Soooooooo, Achara thinks that Mark should do totally nothing to stop Omni-Man just because he isn't ready and let his father pretty much enslave the whole Earth. Great idea!
23:24 BECAUSE IT'S FUN JABY
What I just realized is that it’s a good thing Mark went thru this. Like nolan said your a vultrimite in blood only. Your education begins now. Viltrumite are much tougher and meaner. Granted if more viltrumites came to earth they would consider mark weak and would kill him. So this toughens Mark up.
y’all mic sound so good i thought i was watching the ad still 😂😂😂
Oh my god, it's like Jaby's torturing us by not showing the reactions to best scenes.😭
Finally Ep 8🔥
and i can't wait to see mark leveling up in season 2🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥im so excited for this upcoming season🔥🔥🔥
he DID go about taking over once he landed. first he had to learn about the planet (him getting with debbie), then he became a hero to gain the love and adderation of the planet, then he had the guardians there who had to plan to take out and then he had mark which slowed him down. if there was no mark he would just did the hero thing, got everyone on his side and then said "ok, welcome to viltrum empire"
WTH, this was edited in a way that cut out the most interesting parts. No "Think Mark, you dad..." I suppose it was to watch the video on patreon. So, a waste of time.
Creating a child is clearly part of his mission as he said that he could start over and create another family.
Please react to demon slayer
Yes please
Now you guys gotta react to the Omni Man and Homelander Death Battle.
Been waiting for this!
16:28 Omniman just didn't want to kill him
If he wanted, he could have snapped Mark's neck and he wouldn't even have time to react, Mark is too weak compared to regular Viltrumites
And also, the ones killed in the flashback were also the most "weak"
He's weaker by virtue of being younger. Not because he's just inherently weak. They get stronger as they age like vampires. However, every one of these battles he survives he gets stronger upon recovery. A viltrumite who survives enough beatings, even though younger, can potentially get stronger than an older viltrumite who has only fought weaklings and never struggled.
Mark is weaker, but Vitrumite get stronger by age. Also Mark have no experience.
*MARK: "YOU, DAD -- I'D STILL HAVE YOU."*
*[NOLAN LOOKS AT HIS HANDS SOAKED WITH THE BLOOD OF HIS SON, AND DEPARTS EARTH IN TEARS]*
I think the best part of this reaction is Achara impersonating Jaby LOL
Ah yes, Invincible's "training" episode.
Achara crying at 8:17 got me :(
this is why batman has a contingency plan
Jabby always finds a way to confuse the hell outta me at the end of videos with his rants that don't go anywhere, I always forget to click off after the reaction part😂🤣
Debra saved the world by knocking a fraction of humanity into Nolan's thick brainwashed Viltrumite skull over the years.
You didn't put the best part of episode 8 "THINK MARK"
Im watching this again after long time and man this thing hits hard Omni-man was just born this way like many other viltrumites they dont know whats mean love or sympathy they are born just to conquer nothign else. Personally i think Omni man isnt rly bad he is just doing what he must because if not him diffrent viltrumite will come and do his job
Wait until the other Viltrumite appears. It's ultra next level escalation that you don't see coming. As a matter of fact, one of the best villain already made a cameo in the Viltrum flashback.
old man conquest
8:25 made me laugh out loud fr 😂
Damn no blurring out the gore this time 😅
Is there going to an another upload of this reaction which will include the line "You dad, I'll still have you".... ? :D
8:29 lmao that edit
i can't wait for invincible season 2🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nolan kind of "fell" in love. Invasion is not right away. Patience too
his time on earth is but a tiny fraction compared to the rest of his life. It was like a weekend trip.
The question is: what if there is on real life aliens 👽 as dangerous as the Viltrumites?
You guys should have kept the important parts of his mom being a pet and omni mans realization of his own humanity.
"You dad. I still have you" that was the part it made me feel something. I was waiting for your reaction for that part but it's cut out in this video guess it's only on patreon . 💔
WTF dude.. you should have uploaded 5 minutes of reaction video for 1 hour long session..
Terrible!!

This is what an actual superhero fight will do to normal people.
My girl looks hella traumatised on that thumbnail lmfao
Damn, you guys left out the best scenes of the episode
Why do you need it? Because it’s entertaining.
Wait till u see thragg😂 he is basically a weaker zod but way ruthless and the strongest in invincible comic
Conquest actually had a cameo in this episode
Please react to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Please react to Natsume's Book of Friends
Why did you cut the "I'll have you dead!" part and the next 7 seconds, that's the best part of the 1st season, you don't cut that.😔
Damn yall skipped the best parts in this reaction(not getting patreon)
Y'all should reconfigure the playlists. Especially the reactions. Create specific playlists for trailers, movies, tv shows, games, etc. Instead of lumping them all up under "reactions" it makes it tedious going through that long list search for specific stuff to watch.
You did not just cut out the pivotal line. That's... that's just disrespectful.
It only gets better from here I’m so excited for season 2
I only watched the first and the last episode reaction cause I knew that will be the best reaction
The reason why omniman waited so long is mentioned in the comics. Viltrum population was on a decline due to a virus called the scourge virus, the scientist of viltrum belived that human DNA is 100 percent compatible to theirs, so they sent one of the strongest viltrumites being Nolan to test that theory. And when mark was born and later got powers the theory was proved and thus ending his misson, This is the reason omni man was sad at first because he will have to end this life he had grown to love. The rest of the viltramites come later in the comics to replenish their population..
conquest, the boomer
thragg, the freddie mercury
There are different toughness factors for them. Some are just tougher than others based on age and genetics. For instance, Omni is very powerful, but he isn't the strongest - the difference between him and the strongest is very substantial. For example, Battle Beast would have killed him for sure. I'm being careful not to give spoilers, but yes higher level characters like Omni and Mark can (and do) get maimed or eviscerated - but keep in mind they do have a light healing factor. Their DNA does in fact rewrite (or heavily influence) the DNA of other species and you will see a very solid example of that next season I would imagine.
Her reaction when he says “Pet”,,, I think it’s anger? hatred? disgust? Disappointment? Sadness? Shock??
Season 1 is amazing. Please check out a special movie. It is called (FireBreather 2010). It's in the same universe where Mark, aka, Invincible.🎉🎉🎉🎉
