Grizzly and brown bears are the same thing, americans usually say brown bear more. Bears are kept away more if you talk and clap rather tnan use bells. They don't hear high frequency sounds as well.
@@ssss-io5ct I’d heard that about the bell, but we do make lots of noise when we’re hiking. That particular bear we saw was a brown coloured black bear, not a grizzly. Grizzlies have a hump. But they are brownish;-)
@@NomadLifeKiwi yes you are right grizzlies do have a hump, it was just a lighter toned black bear like you say. Smart to make lots of noisr! I like in Kitimat a few hours from stewart cassiar highwsy and we have a massive population of black and grizzlies! Great video!
Very very quiet places, nobody except bears, but beautiful wild nature
@@michelesauret7779 it is such a beautiful place
Awesome scenery!!! It looks like there was some really good weather! Can’t wait to see more of the adventure!
(I like exclamation points!) 😜
Thanks Wayne, and only one waterfall to suffer through!
@@NomadLifeKiwi hahaha. I love the waterfalls! Thats what the people want to see 😎
@@TheWayneReport yep, it’s all about the people :-)

I guess you are used to having bears around. It's so much a novelty for us. Thanks so much for watching and commenting :-)
@@NomadLifeKiwi it is but I still also get really excited anytime I see one😅
That's so cool!
Black Bears can be brown or cinnamon.
@@faksen13 yes, indeed. It was neat seeing a brown one.
