- Part 1. I'm waiting on the rear hub for this build, so I borrowed the rear wheel from another another bike temporarily to film this build. I hope you enjoy watching my build as much as I did making it.

Can I use a 1/8 chain and cog with the Sram S300?
You can but since the chainring that is comes with the s300 is 3/32 it will have extra movement and not fit optimally. I would just get a new chainring or go with the all city 612 cranks
Is it fast? I hardly encounter a fast bike nowadays.

In all seriousness, it's a steel track geometry fixed gear. It's a bit heavier than aluminum but is more compliant. It's similar to almost every other fixed gear out there, just a better quality than something like pure fix, in my opinion
I don't understand..
Why Thompson and why the CK headset?? They make absolutely no difference in the bikes performance!! Is it a snobbery, just to have a boutique brand name on the bike!! Even the cheaper carbon seatpost, outperformes that seatpost in comfort department!
