If u need a good sports anime I would recommend u Bluelock , though it isn’t exactly like haikyu it gives of really good hype , so according to me u should give it a try

This is just my opinion but my list is:
1. Bluelock (its just excitement, and thrill and i love a egoistic mc who's hungry for winning and will do anything for it even if it means changing his whole self.)
2. Kuroko's basketball (I play basketball, actually. And i always love rivalry between old teammates that have fallen apart, i also like to see the mc proving himself to those who looks down on him.)
4. Yowamushi Pedal (Im not really sure if its a sports anime, but i just really find onoda cute! Also, i used to really want to be a cyclist because of this anime, still do, but its not my main dream rn. It never gets old.)
4. Haikyuu (I just started watching this recently and since i haven't seen the whole thing im gonna put it in top four, hinata is adorable, the anime is fun and i really love their progress in matches, i like volleyball too! I used to play with my cousin in middle school.)
5. Ping pong animation (Not bad, didnt really watch the whole thing...)

and there is not a single episode that is bad, every episode in Haikyuu is great.(at least for me)
I've already watched Haikyuu 8-9 times and I can still go on and never get bored.
I recommend Run With the Wind, from the same studio as Haikyuu but the vibes are a little more mature (still hilarious as a comedy tho) and i promise u the last episodes will have u sobbing with pride... its AMAZING

@@aaydenm1557Hajime no ippo and ashita no joe are much different, the impact they have is MUCH greater than any other sports anime.
Ashita no joe carried Japan on its release and hajime no ippo inspires most new gen boxers and generations to come.
@@BardeMillerMc I mean, Haikyuu also made its sport more popular in Japan bcuz it inspired many high schoolers to join and play in HS volleyball teams. Also it made even an Olympic player impressed.
