- Sped up a wee bit, transposed up one key, and incorporating the 16th note guitar riff from Edge of Seventeen - but in key with this song! You don't realize how uneven it is until you disect it and then speed it up - the guitarist must have been going crazy trying to get all those strums in time!! No quantizing here!

when I read what you'd done, I was a little trepidatious..a listener only, I can't comment on the technicalities, only the result...AWESOME! as a vocalist I was worried the key shift might put it out of my range (bass/baritone here) but I found a notch in my tenor/counter-tenor falsetto that fit it perfectly...bravo!

My tastes in music are roughly 33% Dad's, 33% Mom's and 33% my own counting actual late 70's-early 80's Disco music. Mom was into Fleetwood Mac / Stevie Nicks- This version of a song I know mom, loved- when it was new. She passed on weirdly enough early Saturday due to a dialysis. There's a slightly different, similarly lengthened link I liked enough to save in an email draft.

Unfortunately, no. I can't extract the vocals in their entirety - there is always an "echo" remnant. To my knowledge, unless the software exists, the only way to provide a true instrumental would require access to the original studio tracks.
