Very curious about the durability of the bond. We've all seen stuff debond, from seam tape to the laminates in our packs. My current tarps have many years left in them. Glad to have some beta testers out there
From the tests I've seen done and some of them over an extended period in some pretty crazy conditions, it's done really well. I'll let everyone know what I find with mine!
I just ordered this same tarp for winter. I have a dyneema summer time tarp but wanted something to give more coverage in the winter. Now that you have had it for a bit how do you like it ??
Oddly I ask Dave from Dutchware gear the same question. His response was to go with the 1.1 The extra durability will last longer. I’m a ground guy, I’m looking into the dirtbag den, 9.5 feet by 10 feet, bonded, 14 ounces. A lot more lighter then my 10 by 10 Safari aqua quest, 2 pounds
There is a video of a guy who left his up in some serious weather while he was down with Covid. I think it was up like 36 days through rain, sleet, snow and heavy winds.

You might try the warbonnet tarp poll for the inside. Sheds snow a lot better.
This one has poles available for it as well. Fortunately where I am right now I don't see much snow at all!

Xenon .9 or 1.1... I can't decide. Save a few ounces or have more durability. Decisions decisions lol
the 1.1 isn't much heavier, in my current mindset that extra durability is worth the small weight penalty.

So 8m buying my first tarp. Duthware 11ft hex. Would like your opinion should I have them add the extra pull outs or not?
Now all they need is to make a bonded wide 2 person tarp for double hang with doors on both ends

So it’s just a tarp with no ridge seam that is stitched?
The Ridgeline and pullouts have no sewing, which means no holes to leak, and no holes to weaken the material.
Will it work with a bridge hammock?
