That's why I got the Dyson hand held tool kit so I could use the hose to extend the one fitted on the DC24. With the extra reach it's long enough to clean my blinds but not quite long enough to reach to the top of the stairs as shown in the video.
Not in the flesh, but I have watched many RUclips videos and seen it demonstrated on QVC UK. Buyers rate it 3 out of 5 on average, with a few giving it only one star.
I realised that after watching the video back. At the moment I am keeping it as I wanted it mainly for above floor jobs using the dusting brush. It is fairly quiet when using just the suction motor.
+captian k'Lang I hang my head in shame. But I need a good duster. I ordered it with a Miele adapter and it works. It is so much easier dusting large pieces of furniture and the bristles and much softer than the one that comes with the D4. As long as it gets my house clean, that is what matters to me. I am not so much brand loyal as I am product loyal. It is a really good dusting brush. Possibly the only thing Dyson has made that I like. Now, I will go lash myself and pray to the Holy Mother of Vacuums that she forgives me.
hello, can I ask? for the Dyson ball Animal 3 vacuum cleaner, what is the button for turning the vacuum cleaner on and off (red button) and what is the button next to it and what is it used for (such a gray button)
I agree, Dyson cleaners are poor quality, noisy and messy to empty. I have sold every Dyson I used to own but still have several Miele and Sebo cleaners.
lol i thought you would be angry when i made this comment in holland and other countrys are many people going from dyson to dirt devil VS8 and philips marathon and powerpro in my local they have put a rubbish bin nrxt to the dysons with a sign throw ypur money in here instead of buying one every time i am in that shop they buy dirtdevil and philips

That's a thought that entered my head when I was filming in the kitchen after the bake off.
I worked that out while making the video. Fortunately I have sold this Dyson and only have a DC25 left.
For some reason this video reminds me of the QVC vacuum disaster video! :p

That dyson performed really good almost better than the dc25
Look forward to your S7 review. Had one for two years and very interested to hear your thoughts
I'm a Kid And I like your RUclips channels I like them
I've just sold the DC24 and will be selling the DC25 after making a few videos.
I have a dyson dc24 and I just gentle press the pedal and pull it to me but its kind of a shame that you sold it. But you have EPIC vids good job!
The S7 review will follow soon...............
Good video roger. My nan use to have a DC24 multi floor but she had to take it back because it wouldn't pick up but do you still have the DC40
Have you seen the new dc50 upright cleaner?
I've had the DC24 for years and I've always had trouble with that thing on the back not reclining.
agreed
i am the same. Dust builds up but I love vacuuming the carpets.
The DC50 is heavier to push because you can feel it digging deep into the carpet
my nan has All the DYSONs!
What do you thu k of the dyson dc fifty?
I would always chose Miele over Dyson.
I have a Dyson dc24 but it's broken but it still works
I like that.
Roger did those this do a little better than the dyson dc25 it could not even pick up oats
push the vacuum forward as you press the button on the mechinisum
I haven't used one so I can't comment.
i have a dc50 its awsome and u can turn the brush bar off
You've been able to turn the brush roll off since the DC03
i wish Sebo offered a tool like this.
+ShrinkDavid 1982 It is possible to fit Dyson tools on a Sebo with an adaptor, but you will burn in hell for doing so.
Vacuum hell for sure. However, it is a really nice duster. What type of adapter do I get?

The machine wasn't reclined properly in the kitchen
