I thought a 5 just meant like you were super close to a mine & a 1 meant you had a pretty good chance of it being far away.

R6C1's quota can only be filled if R6C2 is a mine,
R7C1 then means that R8C1-2 has exactly 1 mine, so in R6C2 and R8C1-2 there are exactly 2 mines and R7C2's quota is only filled if R8C3 is a mine,
R7C3's quota means that the remaining squares surrounding it, R8C2 and R6-8C4 have at most 1 mine,
R6-7C4 is within these squares so has at most 1 mine,
So there are up to 2 mines in R6C2 and R6-7C4, meaning R6C3's quota is only filled if R5C3 is a mine,
R6C3's quota then requires that R6-7C4 contains exactly 1 mine,
R7C3's quota is then filled by the mines at R6C2, R8C3 and R6-7C4, so the remaining squares R8C2 and R8C4 are safe,
Since R8C2 is safe, R7C1's quota requires that R8C1 is a mine.
There was also enough information to know the first green mine was there (it was simpler, actually):
