    He was sleeping there. Wasn't he?

    • @EnglishMistakesRemover
      @EnglishMistakesRemover  3 года назад +7

      Your sentences are also correct.
      See the difference please.
      (1)
      He was sleeping there, wasn't he?
      Vo vahan per so raha tha na?
      (2)
      He was sleeping there. Isn't it?
      Vo vahan per so raha tha. Hai na?
      You can use any one. Both are correct and make same sense.
      Same rule goes with your other sentences.
      I hope you understand!

    • @EnglishMistakesRemover
      @EnglishMistakesRemover  3 года назад

      Hi Parijat,
      Thank you for your comment. In this video, we are not talking about "Question Tag Sentences"
      Please see the difference.
      (1)
      He was sleeping there, wasn't he?
      Vo vahan per so raha tha na?
      (It is one sentence)
      (2)
      He was sleeping there. Isn't it?
      Vo vaha per so raha tha. Hai na?
      (These are two sentences)
      Both are correct and have same sense. You can use any one.
      "Isn't it" is easy because we don't need to care about Helping verb etc of a sentence. "Isn't it' can be used with all sentences and we do not change it.
