damn, i also did a byz campaign today :O but i formed my byz in 61 and all without building a single unit all campaign, i love 0 day naval invasions :D
1882 isnt exactly fast lol, as a tip, when you want to form nations you can also do it with vassals, releasing Bulgaria and Albania and getting them later as protectorates is really simple and is faster to create Byz, you can often get them as protectorates if they get a revolution, which happens often and doesnt create infamy lol
I played a lot of Victory 2, there being over 25 infamy as a small country = dead. Maybe in Victoria 3 I don't have to be so careful about it. I'll try to play more aggressively.
It's rather arbitrary , it was 25 in EU3 , 50 in EU4, seems to be 100 in v3 where you get coalitions v2 was kinda insane , if unlucky you could gain 22 for a single province... or 0 if not discovered

I could have done it 20-30 years faster :P But this game is so "relaxing" at times that you forget what you wanted to do :D
