The Warning are three sisters that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 16 as of March 2021) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 19 as of March 2021) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 21 as of March 2021) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to RUclips for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show!.The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10 000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston.
They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album XXI Century Blood in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded Queen of the Murder Scene and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, Narcisista. A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. The Warning is totally fan funded through Patreon, RUclips and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise fund for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lock down was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on RUclips and Facebook achieving well over 50000 simultaneous viewers on March 25 2020. They have since performed from The Warning a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville Tx for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star.
On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After 3 months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February 2021. All that remains as of 22 02 21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end 2021.

Thanks for reacting to The Warning. It’s worth noting that the 3 sisters are still very young. Dani on guitar and vocals is 21, Pau on drums is 19 and Ale on bass is 16. In my opinion their best concert footage is back from 2018 at Lunario CDMX. This was the release concert for their 2nd album, Queen of the Murder Scene and was a great overall Pro-shot gig. It you take into account that they were 18,16 and 13 and was done at an elevation of 7,300 ft it will blow your mind. All the videos are in their YT channel and all the songs are great so you can’t miss. They also have some foot footage from their January 2020 shows at The Whisky a Go Go if you want something more recent. I personally recommend going back to 2018 or even further back so you can watch them develop through time.
The altitude reference, in case you wonder, is because it was difficult for the ladies to sing at high altitude; less oxygen. They definitely pulled off a stellar performance in spite of it.
A "veteran" band, ages 21, 19, 16, composed of three sister prodigies who have been rocking together since childhood. An EP and two previous albums, this is the first release from their third, produced late 2020 after signing with Lava Records. They are electric in front of audiences. Check them out!

several things to highlight in her performance, the constant change of pace, Daniela as the lead voice, bestial! her sisters do choirs for her while they play her instruments, I think that for Paulina it must be difficult to do that for being the drummer, the 3 are incredible, their harmonies are wonderful, they are all rock goddesses.

Know what you mean about seeing a live performance, they’re fantastic on stage. Saw them for two sold out nights at The Whisky, they don’t disappoint. Dany’s vocal is so strong, kinda reminds me of a Lzzy/Amy Lee/ Joan Jet rolled into one powerful vocal, Pau on the drums is solid and entertaining as always, and Ale is doing some lovely dancing the fretboard on bass. Great musicianship, please do more from them 👌

I am a rocker from the 70s and 80s era, have loved rock my whole life. I first watched the Warning many years ago when they where very young, enter Sandman, at the time my thoughts where, well that was cute 3 little girls playing a great rock song, I gave it no more thought. Last year I discovered that they had morphed into something I never would have imagined, after watching all of their videos and downloading Queen of the Murder scene, also watching their latest release CHOKE, I can honestly say that they may be my favorite band of the 21st Century. These young Girls out of Mexico ROCK, OMG the talent level is through the roof, the skills, energy, passion. I have not been this excited about a band in a really long time. I cannot Waite to see what comes next for this crazy good band, my grateful heart wants to say Thank you to the Warning band for bringing me hope for the future of Rock with some fresh, exciting new music.

I get what you mean about live versions but tbh I think its best to watch the MV then the live version, it shows just how good they truly are. Girls are great, they have been working hard on their craft long time by now and in independient format until this new record, just consider the bass player is 16yrs old. It's funny you mention Stevie Nicks, cos everyone found some reminiscens from great bands of the past, from Rush to Stone Temple Pilots, in them.
Chelsea's response was expected and great, but Matt, you surprised me with your reaction, so will tell you that they DO have a live performance of this very song from their studio nicknamed The Warning Cave. They have many other performances there, as well as several live onstage ones. The drummer can sing while drumming as well, and so does the bassist live to let her older sister ease on her voice. They started out in 2013, when the bassist was only 9 and tinier than her bass, with their cover of Enter Sandman. Definitely worth a watch, all of it.

Honest reaction, refreshing ! Mine, which I just saw maybe a week ago, Whoa ! 3 Sisters, from Mexico ?? Oh yeah ! These girls have stardom written all over them. I thought they were impressive no doubt, but the Drummer to me stood out, as one person said " she beats those drums like they just stole money from her" and I don't disagree, and after watching some other vids, sorry can't remember her name now, but she is awesome, an she also sings. The Warning and Tom MacDonald of another genre, give me hope for our future.
Thanks for the reaction. I think you are right you should have seen the live versions of some of their concert footage they are one of the bands around that is probably better live than on record. Start with the Lunario CDMX concert and do it in order starting with Dust to Dust. The energy at their live shows is great. They have been at this for 9 years and their performances show it.

Chock is form their third album and their debut album since signing with Lava/Republic Record in August 2020. The recorded this album between the months of September till December 2020 with world famous producer David Bendeth. The mixing was done also by David with creative feedback from the band.

I'm honestly not sure about this video yet - I like the sound (but I like them live better); I like some of the imagery (unplugged electric guitars are a wee bit awkward imho), but all in all it's a very good introduction to their upcoming new album. I'm curious what's coming next!

The Villareal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans. Check out "Dust to Dust" LIVE January 16th, 2020 Whisky a Go-Go performance. The drummer Paulina sings lead. It is off of The Warning's 2nd album, Queen of the Murder Scene; which was nominated for Best Rock Album at 2019 Independent Music Awards.

The band actually already published a live performance of Choke on their RUclips Channel, albeit one that was recorded without much preparation or warm-up at home in their "Warning Cave", during an online interview, I believe. Hello friends, greetings from Mexico, I highly recommend that you make more video reactions of the group THE WARNING singing live, especially with his performances of Metallica - enter the sandman, atlas rise, from AC - DC back in black, from Foo Fighters the pretender, by Muse hysteria, and also by the same author as Dust to dust, Dull Knives, Survive, etc, etc, etc!
I agree with you Mat, I prefer seeing a live before a actual MV and with these girls you are not disappointed! While they were at Berklee for 5 weeks they were told how important stage presence is.. and they took it to heart and it show in their LIVE performance! Dany's voice has really matured the last couple years and become more crisp and tight on guitar Lzzy Hale and David Gilmour are 2 of her idols. Pau is a beast on the kit and has been singing and drumming almost since she started on drums. Ale doesnt enjoy singing but does occasionally and most TWA love when she does, I on the other hand prefer just watching her stalk the stage while she plays. You are correct. The Warning are one of the few bands that is better live. This is only their second ever music video, yet it is their first single off their THIRD album. This is their first album after being signed to Lava/Republic Records. The are the first ever Mexican Band signed directly to the US parent Label. These ladies are the real deal. Check out ANY of the original songs done Live and you won't be disappointed!

Well since you plan on doing more of The Warning then I guess I'll sub... oh and if you want to see them live I'd suggest you start with Dust to Dust, it the prologue to their second studio album Queen of the Murder Scene. QOTMS is a concept album that tells a story of a woman who falls for a man but doesn't get it in return and she snaps... the title kinda tells you what she does. Great reaction,and there is a live performance of this song already up,but the live arena is where these girls excel. There are literally hundreds of videos on You Tube of them,and you could almost pick any song and you'll be impressed - more so in the last few years as they've matured. I've been following this band since 2014 when they posted a cover of Metallicas "Enter Sandman" (which has 22.5 million views)and haven't looked back,but possibly check out "Dust To Dust","Shattered Heart","Queen Of The Murder Scene","P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C.","Dull Knives" or their cover of Metallicas "Atlas Rise" from the Whisky A Go Go. For something more subdued,try the drummer Pau going solo on a cover of Radioheads "Creep" or her own "Blacks Holes".

The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Dany (Daniela) on guitar is 21 yrs., Pau (Paulina) on drums is 19 yrs., and Ale (Alejandra) on bass is 16 yrs. They are from Monterey, Mexico and have been playing as a band since 2013. They started by doing covers. Their most famous is Metallica’s Enter Sandman (which has over 22 million views on RUclips) but have since written and recorded their own work since 2017. They have been on the Ellen show, played and sold out the stage at the Whisky a GoGo a few times, and been at the Hollywood House of Blues, as well as many other venues. They have opened for such acts as Alice Cooper, Def Leopard, Stryper, and others. During a Pandemic live stream concert with multiple bands Lizzy Hale saw them and was so impressed she asked them to tour with her. All are quite capable of singing lead and do (although fairly recently for Ale). They were completely fan funded and independent but after 7 months of negotiating, in October of 2020, they signed with Lava/Republic Records (only after negotiating to keep much of their independence).
Ale is a very accomplished bass player and has a signature line of bass guitars from her sponsor Spector Guitars US (Not bad for 16 years old!). Pau is a near world-class drummer (at 19) and Dany is not far behind in here guitar abilities. All are extremely passionate about music and do not cut corners on anything.
To understand their immense talent, you need to see them from early on. We step up to 2015 and The Warning’s cover of Muse’s Hysteria. Please note that the bass line is very difficult. The bass player from Muse doesn’t like the song much because it is complex and tiring. It has been ranked somewhere in the middle of the 10 hardest bass lines in rock but 10-year Ale kills it like she had been playing it for years- because she had. In 2015 they also released an EP of original music called Escape the Mind.

They were invited back again to do another Ted Talk in 2017 where they explain their struggles launching their first Album XXI Century Blood. In 2017, having just finished their first album XXI Century Blood (privately funded by patreons and other supporters) and in honor of one of their favorite bands being in town that night they learned (in 4 days) Metallica’s Atlas Rise. This is their studio version (from their basement studio at home affectionately called The Warning Cave) after having just learned it.
