Drummer's name is Paulina, known as Pau. Respectfully I can understand that your writing way making reference about how strong she is with the drums, and also to give other people an idea about pronunciation, but still I think you should write correctly her name. Greetings.
I agree with you buddy. This is just a phenomenal three-piece!! To any true music lover it's clear that The Warning is one of the very best rock bands on the planet today.
I actually like the live version from the Warning Cave. To me it just shows they are for real and not just "produced." And they are still only 21, 19, and 16.
I Agree 100% and I saw they released the "Cave" version shortly after we reacted to the official video. Should have waited an hour or 2 and did that instead.
And the cave performance shows Ale singing the last pre-chorus break, "Let me drown" in an awesome voice I haven't heard from her before. I don't know why they didn't show that in the official MV.
To your spouse's comment, the message is a positive one despite how the lyrics can be interpreted. In a Loudwire article, it is stated that the sisters spoke of the song in the following terms: “'Choke' is a song about drowning in your feelings and coming to terms with them". My understanding is that it is ok to drown in your feelings and be overwhelmed with them, if you can come to terms and accept them by yourself (personal growth essentially). So it is like saying "Give me a break...let me drown in my feelings so I can have a grip on them".
Yeah, I dont usually get too caught up trying to understand the lyrics for a first time hearing the song because I feel like I would get most times trying to understand the meaning(s), also I feel like I might miss out on a lot of little things in the video. Thanks for this comment!
I was struggling with the lyrics but was thinking DPA used the lyrics in Choke as symbolism relating to someone's internal angst. But this does come across as pretty dark.
The sisters have been playing rock since Ale (bass) was 8 or 9; now 16. Every 2 years or so the band has made a noticable quantum leap forward. It can be heard in their previous shows and albums. The third album has been highly anticipated, but this new level of power and sophistication is stunning.

I had to come back with a quote from Pau and Dany about what "Choke" means for a little context for your wife; Drummer Pau: “Choke is about being so overwhelmed by your feelings that you start to drown on them and choke on them and we really wanted the song to reflect that hopelessness you sometimes feel and just offer it to everyone as a safe place to feel those feelings and just like a place of comfort for them.” Guitarist Dany: “We really wanted to embrace what the lyrics say with the music I think that’s the challenge that we took personally to like even with the riff and everything show the tension of the struggle of that person and we are very proud of the song and we are so happy it’s finally out.”
Well, I think the message of the song is very positive, but not like caramel style people usually like. They said that the lyrics go about to be drown into your own feelings and make a good deal with them. Something like you have to face your feelings and to learn how to live nicely with them. And I think that message is very significative at this moment, because the world and mostly teenagers and young people only lives for how they look in pictures, but not being very deep maturing as persons in their minds or feelings, like they just passing through time without a sense or porpouse for life. So, saying the truth is not very popular in the forms, but It's still a long way better than superficiality. Nice reaction btw.

The message of the song is a positive one. Pau the dummer said, it's a song about coming to terms with your feelings and not choking on them. Great song and great message, imo.😁 Also if you'd follow the warning they like to write about serious matters. That's one reason they remained independent for so long. Many record labels including Simon Cowell wanted them to be more pop. They have no problem with pop music, some of their favorite artists are pop artists. They just prefer rock with a serious tone.

Hey Tom Tuffnuts... greetings from Fresno, California. Glad to see you back on The Warning. Have Sarah watch songs off of The Warning's first album, XXI Century Blood, from their January 19th, 2018 Dakota Bar show. I feel confident she will then come fully on board. Their cover of Metallica's "Enter the Sandman" is from 2014, when they were 14, 12 and 9 years old. Nice watching you discover this great band! Bravo! 🔥🤘😎👍💯👏👏
Good reaction! Awesome song and video! This is a sonic tsunami!! Typical TW style music. Dany's vocals are top notch. Impressive overall sound! TW is going to the top with their popularity exploding! Viva The Warning!!
They have three different covers of Enter Sandman. The one that got millions of hits on RUclips and Metallica's attention was done when Alejandra on bass was 9, Paulina on drums was 12 and Danny on guitar was 14.
The Warning are amazing. That being said, a band I have been following is Dea Matrona from Northen Ireland , two sisters and a long time friend. They are also young and two of them sing and have fantastic harmonies and basically a good time classic rock band. Check them level stuff out also, songs like Show Me, I Just Wanna Rock or Make You My Star for originals. They do a terrific cover with beautiful harmonies on Helplessly Hoping. Your wife will like them.
The wife is like "ehhh...theyre good." LOL. She doesn't sound too enthusiatstic about the song or the video and thats ok but cmon...from a female to female perspective you gotta give props to other women paving the way. Young women power. Stand up and clap! Dont just be like ehhh..theyre good. Lol. Great review by the husband tho. He gets it. :)
You don't seem to notice, but that is a very sexist opinion of yours. Liking music because it is played by people with the same genitals is a very artificial way of thinking. And let me turn it around. You should stand by Sarah's opinion because she has the guts to speak up her true feelings, you know, female to female, lol. But you seem to like people that agree with you. They GET it. :-)
@@laughingbuddha2948 Sexist because I'm male and commented on women standing for other women? Really now? Yes she has a right to voice her opinions but personally I just feel like you missed the whole point of what I said. Forget about the song and just look at it as a woman standing up for other women trying to make strives in this world. Is that still a sexist way of thinking or too demanding now because I'm trying to make you see it my way? Its a no win situation. Had I been using my genitals when I wrote that comment instead of my brain then yes I would agree with you 100%. lol

although their music isn´t really connecting with me, it´s obvious: damn, are they good! singer´s got such a serious rock voice. also great to see, that they now got some serious production budget behind them.
I am sorry Sarah didn't like it. Unfortunately for her and great for us, The Warning doesn't live in a universe that includes unicorns and rainbows. Maybe she would like Survive. It's one of their older songs and is about moving on from a breakup. There just aren't many choices that don't include pain, mostly emotional. I love it!
yeah, i feel like if we had reacted to the live version instead, she might have enjoyed it more. I think the video portions of Drowning was kinda off putting to her. But I loved the video and these girls are serioulsy going to be huge.
"The Warning doesn't live in a universe that includes unicorns and rainbows." A very patronizing thing to say. I happen to feel the same as Sarah about this song, It's so bloody serious. These are young girls, and looking at he rest of their repertoire, they seem to have it in their heads that seriousness make things deep. A common misconception in people going through adolescence. They have the talent, but please lighten up a bit!
@@laughingbuddha2948 I guess that wasn't the best decision for me to use that phrase to a non fan. I was not being condescending at all. I think Sarah is great from what little I have seen from her. What I said any fan would get. It is actually paraphrasing a quote by the drummer. She once said " I can't write songs about uncorns and rainbows" or something very similar. The fact that you believe they feel they need to write a certain way is funny for someone jumping on someone else because you ASSUME he is being condescending. You are making unwarrented assumptions again. They write songs they want to sing and have fought the "industry" for years because it wanted them to write about unicorns and rainbows. You assume that because they are young girls that they should too. That sounds awfully condescending to me.
If you listen to a new artist for the first time, and you either dislike or are not wowed by the first song you listen to (especially if it’s in a genre you’re normally fine with) you generally can’t judge whether you will like them or not. You have to try a few songs. There have been many artists that took me a while to get into and then I became huge fans. There have been at least a few The Warning fans who didn’t like them much initially.
yes they are more mature, Pau is drumming ,just like that impressiv, and ale on the bass, is fantastic, Dany leard to play solo"s , when needed, so yes they grow, more and more every day.... like them so much....
If your wife likes three-part harmonies, there's a Dutch sister group called O'G3NE (pronounced "oh-gene"). They're phenomenal singers. They're pop, not rock or metal, but it doesn't get much better than them for harmonies. Here's a link to them singing "Sing" by Ed Sheeran. It's live on a Dutch Show called Beste Zangers, and the premise of the show is that a bunch of singers sit around and take turns singing to one of their own. The songs mean something to the singer that's being sung to, and everyone gets a turn being the focus on different episodes. It's not a competition, not really, just a celebration of talent. O'G3NE was on there in 2016. ruclips.net/video/wHHI9kqDhQA/видео.html
Very good reaction. You need to react to The Warning's early songs more, they are excellent as well. They have a wide range of songs. Daniella Lead Guitar/Vocals, Paulina Drums/Vocals, Alejandra Bass/Vocals. Gonna be a Warning fan you have to get their names and instruments correct first. Also they’re 18 or over 18, with the exception of Ale who is 16.
It seems apparent that your wife was not as impressed with this video as you. If she is looking for positive lyrics I would suggest she NOT react to any of The Queen of the Murder Scene. Not much uplifting and positivity in a concept album about obsession and murder. In fact she may have difficulty finding that in most metal band songs. The closest you may get for real 3-part harmonies is The Warning's acoustic versions. I have included some links. Sinister Smiles Acoustic: ruclips.net/video/Xjd41DdRF3c/видео.html Hunter Acoustic: ruclips.net/video/crFCPIoMQM8/видео.html The End Acoustic: ruclips.net/video/p0yqw2kd2Fw/видео.html Red Hands (never fade) Acoustic: ruclips.net/video/240ZZ_KNwg0/видео.html

My reaction. The hubby seems alive and animated in this review. The wife looks like she rather be taking a nap and that would probably give us positive vibes.
they realeased the video yesterday and played the song alive twiced and the song was realesed the thursday night, Alejandra the bass player is 16, funy because your wife rather a more positive music so don't show her the queen of the murder sceane album but maybe you can show to her the song wildfire.
We need to get The Warning and BAND-MAID together on the same stage together. It would be epic!
Bravo!
🔥🤘😎👍💯👏👏
Your wife needs to be warned, when she listen to them doing armonies, will be.
Good reaction!
Awesome song and video! This is a sonic tsunami!!
Typical TW style music. Dany's vocals are top notch.
Impressive overall sound!
TW is going to the top with their popularity exploding!
Viva The Warning!!
They are so awesome
Thanks
Had I been using my genitals when I wrote that comment instead of my brain then yes I would agree with you 100%. lol
@@LaredoIsntSoBad Sorry bud. Logic doesn't seem to be your strong point. But you seem to be one of those male feminists. Well, it's a way to get yourself laid. But only reverse missionary style. Means you can watch. And you have to be really really nice. All the time. Else they don't believe you anymore. Lol.
@@LaredoIsntSoBad careful Laredo....Troll alert...you are not the only one this individual has interjected as high almighty. Probably only seeking to ruffle feathers.
@@abjbusti8586 Sure man, when you get some cold water in your face because you're snoring, think of a troll. It keeps your feathers just the way you want them. Unfit to fly with, just for show.
21, 19 snd 16 years old now
these girls kick ass
Pesadita tu acompañante. Saludos desde México.
although their music isn´t really connecting with me, it´s obvious: damn, are they good! singer´s got such a serious rock voice. also great to see, that they now got some serious production budget behind them.
Asterism is a must then.Trio you say.One of the best in the world, imo .
You want to see the Warning Cave version of this song.
"The Warning doesn't live in a universe that includes unicorns and rainbows."
A very patronizing thing to say. I happen to feel the same as Sarah about this song, It's so bloody serious. These are young girls, and looking at he rest of their repertoire, they seem to have it in their heads that seriousness make things deep. A common misconception in people going through adolescence. They have the talent, but please lighten up a bit!
@@laughingbuddha2948 Go back and listen to the lyrics again. The song is about empowerment and coming to terms with your feelings.
I ❤ The Warning 🎶
yes they are more mature, Pau is drumming ,just like that impressiv, and ale on the bass, is fantastic, Dany leard to play solo"s , when needed, so yes they grow, more and more every day.... like them so much....
You had it wrong, PAULINA IS THE DRUMMER, ALEJANDRA IS ON BASS AND DANIELLA IS ON GUITAR!
Their songs are great. No fluff.
Time for another one! Money for example!
There Better Than Good
They Are........ PUH PAU !!!
Better than good!! You've been watching Jesse Tom's reactions!

Hah! We English are all learning Spanish now!
The darkness and depth of their lyrics reminds me of Soundgarden, albeit darkness in a different way through their eyes.
There 21st century blood album is their best.
Estas 3 preciosuras son mexicanas😎❤️
Very good reaction. You need to react to The Warning's early songs more, they are excellent as well. They have a wide range of songs. I'm pretty sure your wife will like them especially if she listened to Survive, Black Holes, When I'm Alone, and The End. Here are the best links to those songs: Survive -> ruclips.net/video/E62SVvLw9FI/видео.html

If you want harmonies, listen to the song Revenant. I enjoy your reactions.

Daniella Lead Guitar/Vocals, Paulina Drums/Vocals, Alejandra Bass/Vocals. Gonna be a Warning fan you have to get their names and instruments correct first. Also they’re 18 or over 18, with the exception of Ale who is 16.
Still don't have the names down yet. but yeah, nice roll on your r's. lol
😊🤘
It seems apparent that your wife was not as impressed with this video as you. If she is looking for positive lyrics I would suggest she NOT react to any of The Queen of the Murder Scene. Not much uplifting and positivity in a concept album about obsession and murder. In fact she may have difficulty finding that in most metal band songs. The closest you may get for real 3-part harmonies is The Warning's acoustic versions. I have included some links.

I think your wife wants to react to Baby Shark. LOL
Tom, I think you should show your wife the ones you have already reacted to. I am guessing your wife is not a big rock fan. If she wants to see great 3 part harmonies, I would suggest the song Our Mistakes, from their first album XXI Century Blood: ruclips.net/video/MQVJs5PG_AM/видео.html
Well, you should by now be able to tell who is doing what. And no, Alejandra is _not_ the drummer... ;-)
Sorry, the link didn't copy, so here it is---ruclips.net/video/k6BvVx3wvTs/видео.html
She wanted here jingle bells. So sad.its a kick ass rock band .
Man you need to show your wife evolve she'll like that one that one will flip her wig
Please react to CLUTCH (the best band you've never heard of ©). I suggest for your first go, either Electric Worry (their most well-known song), Burning Beard, 10001110101 or A Quick Death In Texas.
FYI...this same comment will appear ONLY if I have watched your reaction video. I am not here to spam your channel...I just want to help get a great band some much deserved recognition. P.S....I will always give your reactions a thumbs-up, even if I don't care for or like the band or song you react to...because I like you and your channel.
Cheers!

You keep getting their names wrong. It's Daniella oldest (guitar, lead vocals), Paulina next oldest(drums, vocals) Alejandra youngest( bass, backing vocals)!
Tough gig with your wife
Can u react to EVOLVE, again, but with ur wife? Just for see what she think about this song?!!!!!!!🙏🙏👏👏👏
Dude, if you ask your wife a question, let her answer.
If she likes “positive message songs » she will have a hard time with Pau’s very dark lyrics, ouffffff
@@maximelesperance4132 what I was thinking. No puppys, and rainbows, and it's funny because they are all sweet as hell😊
@@Noclaf555 This is how they exorcise their dark side. Through their music. I do the same though violent video games, first person shooters, strategic war games and lately attempting music videos based on The Warning songs. My interpretation of course.
