What I am saying is we as Christians should be ready for the coming of Jesus (whether one believes in the rapture or not is another matter). In Matthew 4:17 Jesus says "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand". And in John 14 Jesus says "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me". He is not A way but IS the way, so the people should know that the things of this world will not bring them to salvation.
