Sleepy John Estes was the first blues artist I went crazy about when I was 14 and I was in love with this girl that summer that unfortunatley didnt like me back.. needles to say Someday Baby ( you aint gonna worry my mind anymore) was on repeat EVERY DAY that summer.. didnt get the girl but got my good taste in music and Im forever gratefull for it . Pure raw talent, all self-taught. Shades of Jimmy page as he has mentioned this man as a significant influence in his playing style. I found him by reading about their early influences as i was a fanatic Led Zepplin fan. The waling in his singing is indicative of Robert Plant.
