I did not mean to offend anyone by saying that "some people don't read the drawings well". My idea is that video explanation regarding the function of this additional part is more understandeable to end user than 2D technical drawing. I don't know if that's a fact or not, but that's how I perceive things better.
These are great looking rudder pedals Milan. I'm seriously considering buying a set. I am using PFC 737 rudder pedals now and, although they are structurally well made, I'm having problems with them. Your English is just fine. I had no problem understanding what you were saying in the video. I'm ashamed to say that English is my only language and I'm envious of anyone, like yourself, that has learned more than one language. It is on my bucket-list. (:

Also, 'rtfi' (read the flipping instructions) is always good advice, I think someone would have to be very thin skinned to take offence at such an obviously true statement. Thanks for the video, I ordered mine with this adjustment plate, the hydraulic damper, and extra pedals. All the screws for this, the damper kit and additional damper v1-v2 screws were all over the package as they broke out of their Ziplock bags. This video along with the hydraulic damper video helped sort things out. My only question left it the spring tension on each pedal. Is that the minimum of 3? I haven't got to try them yet, but the feel and look awesome.
It's more commonly used to get pedals more narrow, so they fit inside a limited space ( like obuto r3v cockpit). To widen the pedals is more a comfort thing for big folks around, rather than realistic pedals spacing. But there are indeed aircrafts with such wide pedal spacing, mostly combat planes with central stick
storkman Hi Watch more carefully... as footplates have outer and inner pair of holes... withocut WAP you can only use inner holes, but wap + outer holes make pedals more narrow
What you mean, WAP would have to be bulkier if we added slot like on footplate, so slot can be widened only on footplate. It can be done easily but I'm afraid it would be prone to "slide" and change toe out angle by itself :-) Next major revision of Crosswinds will be more narrow overall so unit can fit for more people by default. WAP would then be used mainly to increase width, and adjust the height from the ground a little Thank you for your comment

Why would one wish to widen their pedals? Are certain aircraft built with their pedals so far apart?

Do these plates work with the combat pedals?
As per product page Wap can only be used to make pedals wider, but not narrower!
How are these used to make narrow? based on the video I don't understand, seems as though they would only make pedals wider

They fit nicely witb WAP addon set to narrow and me109 style footresta
like the design should be easy to machine the top slot to give toe-out when using smaller centers. next production run?
