Very nice Lee , looks nice and clean , good to see you both on video again together, my Audi 3.2 does around 32 mpg on a good run and low 20s around town, I remember the trans am being sprayed and Lee worried what wig he should be buying at the time , Jimmy had his own workshop then
thankyou Martin, good to see you both and that Lee got the insurance sorted,, that mustang sure is a beauty, would it be possible to see you glue/repair the doorcards,,I have a similar issue but hesitant doing it without some sort of guidance,,have a good weekend,👍👍
Regarding the Trotter Robin Van. I would look into the Morris Minor auto box , and Morris Marina . These are very rare. If you ever find one, you may have to make adjustments with transmission tunnel , prop and even bell housing. Good Luck with that. 👍
Luckily for me there's a place that would copy that exhaust and make a new one reasonably cheap. No need for stainless steel unless that was what it had originally.
My brother had over 30 yanks over the years from a AMC Gremlin to Cadillac CTS he had a 2.1 Pinto engined Fox body Mustang which was switched out for a UK 2.8 with the injection taken off , nice looking cars shame about the Vette
Beautiful cars, but like you say Martin, there is always something to fix on any aging motor but at least, for the most, it's all do-able. All the better if you think you can tackle it yourself and there's that sense of achievement when you fix it even though at times, it was an absolute pain! The coolant in the expansion tank appeared to me a little emulsified or was that just a trick of the light on an opaque plastic tank?
It'll come undone again in time. The problem is the flaking foam padding on the door card that the vinyl trim is glued to. All the foam padding needs to be removed(it's a pain in the rear to remove), and then the vinyl trim can be re-glued. Although it won't look right as It'll be lumpy in spots. Hard plastic insert panels or thicker vinyl/leather trim can be purchased to be fitted.
You are right no one has seen the
4.7 mustang engine... because its a 4.6 😉
Lovely cars. This man is single-handedly destroying net-zero. Great to see.
2004. Is there a choke 🤣 love it. Good to see the videos back on this channel
Very nice new car lee, I do love those models of mustang, good to see another video on the channel
Very nice car i had to laugh when he gave you his sleeping bag to lie on👍👍👍👍
Don't forget when you spread the double sided glue use a inside out spreader 😅
Cracking one Martin. Won't be long before Camp turns his new motor into a skip like his camper 🤢🤢😂😂
Nice to see some proper cars.... Let's get the trotter van back on 😊
That Mustang is really clean for a 2004 car! I'd name it Mustang Sally... 👀👍
You could put the trotter van in the glove box of that beast 😂😂

The crafty old bugger (LVC)- I told him get it bought, glad he has the Mustang right good car. Extra bond glue for his wig in that!😂😂😂
Love both cars, Mustangs are my dream car!
Lee van camp , you have great taste in cars , better than Martinis lol
Thank you for sharing watching from South Africa
A Vauxhall Viva/Chevette autobox might fit the Robin 850cc engine but they're rare as well
Lovely cars sound great. The mpg is surprisingly good for that litre engine.
Maybe take it to a exhaust specialist they may be able to repair it or make one
If it was a garage sale, hopefully they fix things foc for Lee😎👍🇮🇪

I will check it out
Lee lockwood has one
If I was Lee I'd take the car and have a stainless steel exhaust from front to back. Nice new motor Lee's got. Great video as always Martin
Thanks 👍
And get plenty of fire extinguishers fitted!!
Trans am for me Steve McQueen in the hunter driving through that cornfield 🤣.his last film I believe aswell
I’ve got them interior door handles in my cmax
Could be brake light switch stuck cos no brake lights showing. Ecu will stop it moving out of park unless using that fix, Its what I found on my SLK
Luckily for me there's a place that would copy that exhaust and make a new one reasonably cheap. No need for stainless steel unless that was what it had originally.

Yes it is an opaque side on that tank.
Your right Martin ,the trans am is a 1995 👍
It's 91 on the log book
@@leevancamp I'm sure it does Lee ,I trust what you say ,these car reg checks don't always get things right 👍

There's nothing not to like about these cars accept for the steering wheel on the wrong side and the running costs
