This is my local course. I knew it when it was a cow farm 24 years ago. Lol! It's tough for most ams. Off the fairway is very punishing. But putting can definitely rescue you if you don't get a lot of clean drives. Working against Matt's rough day, the guy trying to walk up behind them during the interview shot -10 on the day and moved into 4th. -10 under on this course is nuts to me! I believe Matt also had -10 his first round on this course. But it can eat you score alive if you're not dialed in. Amazing performance either way.
It was a pleasure being able to help start all of the 40’s and 50’s out at Manor, and then be able to walk with Matt’s card both days on this course. I hope the footage I captured will be good for the NADGT footage. Come back next year. Austin will always show you guys a good time 🤘🏼 Def see y’all in the Spring!
Another great piece of coverage. Some of those chainouts were rough, but what really blows me away is how adaptable you are with the fairway recovery / scramble shots. Getting up and down like a champ. Looking forward to the comeback arc!
I had the same problem as you, except I played last year. Played the same courses and just hated my time there. It was a big culture shock, ton of anxiety, first experience with elevation change. It was tough
How would you like to be on that card? Roll up to tee one & on top of the normal nerves, there are some of the best disc golfers in the world following you…yeah, no pressure 😳😬
I talked to the other guys on the card about that. At least 2 of them are used to pressure situations from college sports and being in this tournament before. Matt lost to some talented ams, but he was pacing and even leading at times during the week. He should definitely try again next year!
I’m sorry is this your interview got me 🤣
gannon answering the interview question for Matt in length had me dead.
what a great group of friends, and this course looks fun.

Amazing how well Schlabach did throwing into chains made of adamantium. Cheers! 🍻
We're all pulling for you Matt! That world title is within reach! 🖤
Tx disc golf this time of the year is so good though. Thanks for great content.
GG’s Matt. You still DaGoat!
Also need a Schlabach, Alden, Gavin and Gannon Imposter DG this off season!
East Metro is hard
And off the fairway everything is SHARP! 😂
Fun one! Many can relate to that feeling on the greens.
Let's go schlabach. You're more than just a scary face on dgpt. Killed it.
Would love to see Matt post another in the bag video, enjoyed his first one.
