Off when I was paying off my credit card and constantly looking at it., I started getting very creative… I would send them two dollars if I had it left over… when you get focused and determined there is no stopping you!! I was embarrassed when I was at that stage and it's a real shame because it's precisely when you are having the challenges that it helps you (and others) talk about it. Instead, we just end up with a bunch of well-off people talking about finance because they now feel confident to. You will serve as an inspiration for many people
I had to set up a Vet fund for my cat who was diabetic. I just started small saving $25 a paycheck. But it added up and usually I would have enough or close to enough to cover it when she needed Vet care. She passed a couple weeks ago, but I'm keeping up the savings. I have two other cats who don't have health issues... yet. But you never know. Plus with everything else going up like Home Ins/ Car Ins/ Taxes etc. I feel better having that extra cushion. It's hard because everything is going up. But if you keep at it, eventually you will knock off the rest of those debts. It's frustrating and feels like it will never get done. But it will one day!

I remember working for the city of New York making just enough to be broke and not qualify for any assistance. Left to georgia back in 2019. Best financial/mental decision I made. Hope u find your way girl. Your videos are addictive.

So true. I felt that "I'm tired". I'm 13k in credit card debt. I owe some people and I need to get back on youtube for that accountability aspect. I am disappointed in myself but I'm also trying not to get too down on myself. Thinking about starting another budgeting youtube channel all over again. Nothing but blessings love ❤️
