This soundtrack is in C minor, not B flat, and the written score is in D minor! WTH is going on? I'm a vocalist, am I misunderstanding something?

vocal people sing in concert pitch. some instruments are in other pitch. in this case, trumpet is a Bb instrument. Once you learn transposition, you'll understand
