At the moment, Bloodshot is still “bugged” and buffing the DS that applies Blood Shield making it a 25% damage amp to DS. I have no clue if this will get fixed but that would mean Bloodshot is always good. (If not fixed)
ALSO - A Marrowrend buff occurred last week, this was filmed prior to that. NOW WE ARE BACK TO USING MARROWREND ALL THE TIME FOR BONESHIELD AND NOT DEATHS CARESS.
So marrowrend in the last 3 GCDs or DRW and when you need to refresh or stay between 5-7 stacks outside.
Is this on live or beta?

So the part about "No real case for AMZ",
I am still noticing folks get chunked by unavoidable magic dmg in normal and heroic dungeons whether ambient or casters I have aggro on still randomly target and blast DPS and healer.
In 5 of the dungeons it is prevalent enough that I can adjust my CDs and pulls enough that Bonestorm is easier to fit into the rotation if I also take Assimilation.
As for a little extra defensive CD for the party on large pulls in M+ because I can only see this becoming insane in M+ unless the dungeon trash gets some tuning, which is highly unlikely.
I of course would rather not as Death's Echo is just too good to give up.
I am not saying it is a great choice, just wondering if you think it is worth it to help the group survive.

Since the deaths caress, marrowrend situation changed , I suggest you put something in the video itself in order to get ppl to see since apparently the huge READ ME isnt doing it XD. Also, the video effect you used at 5:15 literally got me dizzy v.v idk if other ppl have bad motion sickness as I do (i can dragonride just fine in case you wondering lol) but eeek D:
Sadly can't add slides into the video or notations once the video is live. Will likely make an updated video after the raid guides etc are done though. I'll pass that onto my editor, thanks for the feedback

Yo darkmech, awesome video as always my friend! We appreciate the work you put in these guides. Would you recommend red thirst for vampiric blood spam in mythic + to go along with other damaging abilities? It sounds like a good option to me to have insane survivability along with high damage output. Or is not that viable?
I guess if you were hitting on cooldown and really undergreard in the content you were playing you could make a case for it. But otherwise, I don't think it's as efficient or required compared to the gains from other picks.

I have a question. Why do you say to use dancing rune weapon, and then deaths caress after in your opener, when marrowend is more effecient as dancing rune weapon makes it go from giving 3 bone shield stacks to 9?

2 weeks prior to DF release Deaths Caress was going to become our primary boneshield generation ability and maintenance button (when I recorded this video). Then 1 week prior to release they buffed Marrowrend which reverted that, and made Marrowrend the go-to ability once again. Sadly, I missed that buff, and because I was covering all 6 tanks for DF this had already been recorded and sent off for edit.
Hello thanks for guide.Why people using ghoul talents it has 50 % uptime and give like 5% dmg debuff and 5 % reduction seems bad. Obviously heart strike cleave one is good
do i see it right that we dont use marrowrent anymore? guide on iny veins says we should use it on the last 3 gcds on DRW. Or do we not use it bc DC is now affectet by DRW?

Didn't Caress get changed back to only providing 2 BS stacks outside of DRW? If so, we are back to MR in most cases, outside or DRW, right?
Death's caress change gave it 2 charges of bone shield on activation but the bigger change was the bones component getting copied in DRW. So with Everlasting Bond, Deaths Caress now generates 6 bone shield charges in DRW. So you use that in DRW > Marrowrend and if you're floating at 5 stacks of boneshield you'll be maintaining your stacks via Death's Caress not by Marrowrend, 'majority' of the time.

How would you address a dk tank that loses threat to the other tank while raiding?
Taunt more or request rogue tricks of trade
Can depend on what tank you're tanking against, ilvl etc etc etc the only thing you really have control over is your rotation (are you comfortable around that?) and using your taunt. Ensure you have Plater, Threat Plates, KUI Plates any of them that have a threat indicator on them. You can always weave taunt into your rotation when it hits yellow and you're not going to lock out a taunt swap etc

Always love to see new BDK content. It was a bit of a shock to get used to the new rotation at first after the heart strike spam from tier set. It definitely did not do wonders for me. It feels awesome now and I feel like it is just so much more interactive. It seems like we're rarely going to marrowrend now that caress is affected by DRW. I think I'm more so looking forward to DF just to have new challenges and to overcome them with my toolkit.
It's 100% a new challenge with muscle memory play now, getting used to weaving Deaths Caress in and not hitting Marrowrend by default is a big challenge lol Also dropping DND like it's going out of fashion etc It's really cool to see the spec return to a challenge in management like that. Big pumps!!
@@Darkmech Definitely! I keep seeing Crimson Scourge pop and it just reminds me "Oh.. I haven't been standing in DnD for probably 5 seconds.." So used to just waiting for the proc to ever use it. I'm hoping the vampiric blood absorb shield based off of disease damage gets some improvements or usefulness on certain fights. It would be cool just for the sake of variety and having multiple answers to a fight.
I missed the marrowrend buff last week, so we are back to maintaining boneshield now via that instead of death caress, I'm a little bummed in someway about that, but the rest of the toolkit is still interactive and fun!! Big hypes inc!!
@@Darkmech Wow so the damage increase is really enough to warrant using marrowrend instead of caress and save that other rune for a heartstrike instead? I guess it allows us flexibility and I'm sure they don't want marrowrend to be out of the main rotation.

basically it's the button of shame if you fuck up your Boneshield "rotation". If you happen to drop under 5 and deaths cares is oncooldown so you can spam to build them back up . Given DRW or Abom is not ready

How was it decided that vers was the worst stat?
To start off here there's no bad secondary stats for BDK. However, Mastery gained a bucket load of value this expansion due to its interactions with things like gloomward, shattering bones and ironheart. Crit as proved in SL holds tremendous value especially in M+ and haste Is haste. Vers is still good, but it didn't head as well into DF as something like mastery for example. Doesn't mean it's bad though. Hope that helps
@@Darkmech Is there any link to the methodology used? Noticing that Kyrasis guide has it flipped, Vers > Mast = Haste > Crit, also with an M+ focus, so wondering how each conclusion was arrived at.

this guide is missleading, you dont even include AL in the opener, also you dont open with DC you open with D&D > DRW > Ghoul/ERW > AL > BB > whatever you need (and its already worth to press Tombstone if you get 10 Sec of DRW, but i wouldnt recommende to do that)
DC is optional in the opener, AL is situational as to where it slots in pending what you're using it for.
