  • Tim Starace of @Yynotband does a killer take on Rush's Turn the Page, from Hold Your Fire. That bass is like, Animate me.
    Ok, I'll see myself out.

The only cover I have heard of this baseline so far that does not lag a bit behind the recording. Good job. 😊

Remember, Geddy is singing while playing all of that. SUPER difficult!! Great job!

You bring joy to bass playing which is just as important as the (excellently played) notes...

Hard to believe Geddy plays that bass line while also handling the vocals

I was thinking just the same - hyperactive bass line, or wot?! 😳

I'll go one further than that- he records the vocals separately from the bass line - then waits to blend the two in concert lol

That was the first thought that came to my mind while watching this... just incredible. Probably doing something with his feet as well.

Was thinking the same thing. I guess that's why he's probably the greatest bassist that's ever lived? :)

I read somewhere that the difficulty of the bass line and singing at the same time was the reason they only played it live a few years. There is live concerts where you can see him nail it perfectly though.
