Kavus's performances of his solo material are excellent; the way he presents it really works.

I see Jon Anderson's Olias Of Sunhillow on your mantle. Greatest Yes album ever!! Although a solo album. Great concept and Anderson plays almost all the instruments. Got to see Pierre Moerlin play with Mike Oldfield at My Fathers Place Roslyn Long Island NY early 80's. He and Morris Pert another classically trained percussionist traded seats on drums and percussion. So much gear on stage. Saw them again at the Ritz NYC sametime later that same year.

What an inspiring talk. I like the absence of any music industry aspects. Just passion for artistic discovery of cool things and sounds. That's what the whole thing should be about! Also Cardiacs are the best!
I saw current gong at a Zappa tribute festival this year and they were awesome. There was a moment when the moon was rising just as they played a luna incantation kinda song, it was quite magical.
