I love how he played Disciple, he wasn't even in the band when they wrote that one, if I'm not mistaken. So I'm glad he learned it and played it, because it's my favorite slayer song!

I saw Slayers last ever show in Dublin holy shit. The place went mental. No question. Security tried to keep us from going mental, no chance. Chaos. It was amazing. Obituary Anthrax Lamb of God and Slayer nearly too good to be true. It was brilliant. Can’t understated this crowd standing still.
I was at that show, was hilarious the security trying to stop people moshing and then getting dragged into the pit, dancing like lunatics for 5 minutes and just disappearing when they realized there's no chance of stopping that madness. What a show, band, crowd... good times

Man, that was a great weekend. Maiden on Friday and The Big 4 on the Sunday. Weather was fucking great too. Great to see Mustaien do axe and vocals on Am I Evil. That's never gonna happen again.

The best time I've ever seen slayer was in the Academy in Dublin last year. Small venue with just under/over 1000 people at it. The place was nearly torn apart. Each of the other times were in big arenas like the Point Depot and Punchestown (45000 people) and it was just like this... Shit. Can't wait to see them at the end of the month in the Limelight in Belfast and The Academy in Dublin. RIP Jeff.

Watching Tom Arayas interview you can see it in his eyes that he knew it was a little more serious than a spider bite that caused Jeff’s "disease." Jeff was heavy drinker and they all knew and were scared for him.
Great set.Great to see the classic Black Magic back! I fucking love this song! Unfortunately Kerry was plagued with technical difficulties at the start of Disciple. His guitar is cut out from the very beginning of the song, you can see the roadie run out to his side of the stage to sort it out, obviously a faulty cable or something.To make things worse,someone's left more intro music playback run through the PA.During Disciple you can clearly hear the World Painted Blood intro music being heard!
yes it was. but thats beause the entire concert was marketed as a "metallica show" and so.... every fucking posers who only show up to hear metallicas hit songs from the black album and other older albums.... leaving the real thrashers without tickets and scattered all over the place = a "weak" crowd. i mean fuck! metallica fanboys can't even mosh properly! if no one is bleeding then something is wrong!!
