After a few songs the sound is getting better...
Interesting to hear the bass and vox so well, Dave's snare sound is different aswell.

the crowd is the result of these kind of festivals. a whole day of concerts, beer and whatever you want and at the end of the day you're almost dead. you have an amazing day but little energy left for the final act.
yeah the mix is a little hard to stomach straight up. I think it gets easier to listen to a few songs into it. Kinda like the first drink

@Nikos28686 I went to see a band called Meshuggah on friday, I don't own any of their albums, nor do I know lyrics or songs by heart, I still headbanged as hard as I could to the songs I knew a little / enjoyed... I see what you mean, but this is SLAYER. :P
Historically, TV Sound engineers have done a terrible job with metal bands, mucking about with guitar levels, reducing them to nothing, except on a solo if you’re luckily. Iron Maiden at Dortmund was a classic example. The guitar levels were going up and down like a yo-yo! They really have no clue with metal.
Only SLAYER can pull off wearing their own band T's!!!!!!

true i don't watch rock am ring much usually because there sound quality is way to of bass is to loud and guitar is a little silent and i really want to know what bands they do circle pits to cause if they didn't do a circle pit to slayer then they probably do circle pits to newer bands or something

i wasnt there, but i dont know if i had the engine left after 1 day full of concerts to go crazy anmore. some of them standing over 8 hours there. its not the same like going to one concert with 1-2 bands

I love Slayer and Tom is an awesome singer but Hetfield is the better singer. But Tom's voice and his scream are unique. Nobody could perform South Of Heaven, Raining Blood and Angel Of Death as godlike as him

Honestly, CC was so freaking boring live, i dig the band, but George Fisher is so onesided, i wouldn`t pay to see CC again.

Rock am Ring isn't the right place for a band like Slayer to play. RAR attracts mainly people that listen Coldplay, 3 Doors Down, maybe SOAD or Metallica. Just look at more "hardcore" (hate labelling things this way =/) festivals like Summerbreeze, With Full Force or, most obviously, Wacken, people would mosh their asses of to their songs.
then who expected to see? coldplay? Maroon 5?? ... they are playing DEAD SKIN MASK and no one moves a fucking finger...here in latinoamerica people gives their fucking lives in a concert
this is the most terrible sound i´ve ever heard in my life ... the sound man should not only get fired, he should be punished for every sinlge fucked up sound he caused
google live set slayer list 2012 and it will give you a list of songs.. listen to their latest lp world painted blood lp they will play at least 4 tracks from that lp
Sorry but, this is the worst crowd I've ever seen on a metal concert. Slayer did their best, but cause was lost from the very beginning ! What a dead crowd !!!!!
Who's the drummer of Slayer?
Usually it's the thrash metal of drums Dave Lombardo. The Drumming he does is Mind Blowing. This drummer isn't all that good!

This concert was in Germany, American metal crowds are way more aggressive than any other country....
