Tens years ago I did eight weeks there and did all of these hikes. I loved that place and did the Pillbox one nearly every day, some days, to watch the sun rise. I saved Koko Head towards the end hoping that after several weeks of hiking and cycling every day, I would be well conditioned to easily do the climb: I was not, lol! I did it but when I got to the top, I literally had to flake out on one of those big cement platforms for twenty minutes just to catch my breath again. Thank you for posting---it was nice to see those views again:)
Seeks like you had an amazing trip for 8 weeks! Im glad my video brought back some good memories for you! Lol Koko Head is not one for the faint hearted…it really was tough! Haha we did the same, rested until we were ready for the journey back down! A great experience
