Went to Busch gardens a couple weeks ago and got over my fear of rollercoasters, ending up riding all of the them at the park. SheiKra is probably my favorite out of all of them. It's so short, but it's VERY smooth compared to everything else. I could ride this hundreds of times without getting a headache like Montu and more specifically Kumba do.

@@thetitanic1956 The anxiety when you're getting close to the front of the line, getting in the coaster, and waiting for the drops are the worst parts. I focused on taking slow, deep breaths and not thinking of the future. I highly recommend getting in the front car of any rollercoaster, that way you can see the track and where you're going. Keeping your eyes open during the drops is a must as well, closing them just intensifies that stomach drop feeling, it really sucks. One thing that I did when first starting out was to force myself to smile during the drops, the more I did, the easier it got, and the more I started enjoying the drops. Eventually I started looking forward to that stomach feeling. It's still a little scary, but that's the point of rollercoasters! When I think back at what I just went through when getting off a coaster, I realize just how ALIVE it makes you feel. It's really cool to experience.
If you're going to Busch Gardens Tampa, the Cheetah Hunt is probably the best rollercoaster for beginners, it's the one I went on that I got on to get over my fear and gave me the courage to try out the bigger coasters at the park, such as Montu and SheiKra. I hope this helps! Remember to smile!

@@thetitanic1956 I definitely recommend going from small to big. Some people might be different though. I unexpectably loved Cheetah Hunt, and the rush of having conquered my fear of rollercoasters after getting off it was enough for me to try out Montu right after. Good luck!
Squalington Constantine I’ve rode kumba, cheetah hunt, cobras curse, and that blue water slide one but after I went on this Jurassic water slide on universal I just couldn’t ride any coaster anymore. Last year when I went to Busch gardens with my family I didn’t ride one ride because I’m still scared from that water one. But I’ve been watching coaster videos I think I got over it and ima try over starting from small to big coasters. For some reason when I ride a coaster the first time I’m fine then the second I’m so scared idk why....
The first droop is the worst. I literary saw all my life passing before me. However, if I go back, I'll ride that one again... NOT proud of my picture lol.
Mine either. The first drop you feel you are falling out of the rollercoaster. However, sheikra is definitely my favorite.

Going to Busch Gardens for Howl-o-Scream and will be riding Sheikra again.
Always love watching Shiekra's first drop from the ground, but it's even better to experience it on the ride.
Everyone is talking about the first drop, but my soul left my body on the second one. I felt completely weightless.
When I stopped at the drop I really couldn’t open my eyes +I was in the first row but it was so much fun😂

Pink Dino G lol I'm not even a roller coaster rider but when I went several years ago I was trying to be brace by myself and decided to ride this crazy thing smh hay first drop was the worst I don't remember the rest lol

I was so happy until we paused...
You can't go wrong with B&M. It's good to see BGT has 3. A sit-down (Kumba), an invert (Montu), and a dive (SheiKra). I'd love to see them get a giga someday. Or maybe RMC Gwazi.

Haha I rode this like 12 times. Since we lived next to bush gardens we would come a lot. It was so funn. Now I live in California so IDK if there's one here in Southern California.

A shikra is actually an African bird. It got the name SheiKra because it dives like the bird, at high speeds at very steep drops.

The first time I went on a roller coaster is this, and I screamed so loud into my friend's ear when there was a first drop, going sideways, and the second drop. I love how there's a splash zone, I stand like straight in front of it.

Finally Cedar Point gets a dive coaster! It was the only thing missing from their lineup!

Griffon is a tiny bit taller, but Sheikra has that cool tunnel. Personally, I feel the Griffon is about as close to being on the back of a bird you can get. I love the feel of the Griffon. You really do feel like you're flying like a bird, soaring and twisting and diving. The tunnel on Sheikra makes it more coaster-like in it's feel, so it takes away from the flying feel. Either way tho, some serious fun.
I just rode this. You get a good view of RMC Gwazi and the Tampa skyline.
They are both B&M Dive machines made by the same company. The difference is Griffin is taller, faster, and has 2 immelmanns instead of one

It's not scary! It might look sinister at first sight but is actually one of the most peaceful rides here! It's extremely smooth, and feels like your soaring. There's nothing to be afraid of, because the only part where you really need to hold on ( and have a blast ) to the railings is the first drop , which is amazingly smooth and there is nothing to worry about, it's so fun! So I definitely recommend this! Don't worry , it's just a piece of metal 😄
It's not that smooth, but it isn't scary either. The first fall is the best but after this, pretty normal

They do that because the tracks are moving and when the train goes over the 2 pieces they slide together making that noise :)

I went on the sheikra yesterday and I'm 11. if any kids like me want to ride and if your tall enough it's not that bad . The drop is the only bad part but after you will really enjoy.
It has other rides like the train and skyrides it also has little rides like ephants and bumper cars.

The on-ride makes you think the coaster is much longer than just 3 seats.
It is not a Sheikra that dives down, it is a Shikra.
Can you make a rollercoaster like this(or something less) here, at Europa, Bulgaria? :)
