8:35 this is the exact reason why i never got into plumtree and, unless it gets updated, this app too. i like to keep track of the relatives of my sims' spouses as well, so the only way i've managed to do that is my creating my own family tree by hand. i've had it in procreate for several years, but i'm learning how to code so one of the personal projects i have lined up is making an easier-to-work-with display of my family tree so i don't have to draw out the lines by hand and have features that sort of look like the ones these apps have, just with more flexibility :-)

When I had a big legacy family I used to write everything down on a notebook 😂😂
Now that I have so much time on my hands, I started with a new legacy family and this is PERFECT!!
This looks promising as they intend to continue improving it, but when I saw you couldn't add extended family members to members who are not part of the main family I knew it won't work for my gameplay yet bc I do massive rotational game play and sometimes if I have one giant family tree that suddenly gets married to someone else on a separate giant family tree, I need to be able to link those trees together.
The developers recieved my feedback and they plan to add this feature! :D
The developers said that in the future they will add the ability to link trees together

I was really excited to try it out when I first watched it, but then when trying it for myself I learned that the free version is so much more lacking than the paid subscription. you can only make 1 tree and there's way less customization. if I could afford it, it would be awesome to try the paid version, but for now I think I'll stick with Family Echo (it doesn't look as nice, but its totally free and has a bunch of cool features!)

Number one thing I wish this had was the ability to add spouses' families. Ah well, gonna keep using the websites that are meant for real people, still completely free and let me do so much more with the actual tree.
Yup! I sent that feedback back to the creators so it’s a feature that will be integrated. Go for it ! Share the websites with us 😍 This is only the second tree app I’ve used
@@oshinsims the one I use is called Family Echo. It's free, though there's ads. It's definitely meant for real people, but it's not difficult to use what it has for sims rather than people.

I was using Family Echo before this (and probably still will) but I decided to go with The Sims Tree after seeing how customizable it is. I decided to pay the $3/month but it won’t show up on my account…was there a delay for anyone that has a membership for this?😅

It looks like you can add parents for Jennylyn on her Sim Card. I wonder if you could add a parent (maybe use a blank image as a placeholder) for Jennylyn on her Sim Card and through that eventually add Princess and Jorlie that way?

You can make a full tree, edit avatar, share your tree with no restrictions. If you want the extra things like descriptions, photo editor, etc $3 monthly.
As a rotational player, I wish you didnt have to pay to make more than one tree :(
