    As a kid, I watched a man drown in Lake MI. I am still terrified of the water.

    Im pretty sure that the pretty shores of Lake Michigan have much higher population levels living near to it than the other Great Lakes. If more people are swimming and boating in a particular Lake then there is more chances of a mishap.

      THIS!! (In my opinion) I feel like superior is the most dangerous.) lowest population near it. But higher chance of drowning

      Dumb people hear the word "lake" and think they can walk to Wisconsin

      @John Doe Lake Superior is actually the biggest , but yeah I love going to Saugatuck and swimming in Lake Michigan
