If clothing that contained rubber such as in underwear was washes in the washer, can the rubber protein get into the rest of the clothes? Also my front loading washing machine has a large rubber gasket on the door to seal it. Some of the rubber gasket would be in contact with the wash water. Can the rubber protein get in the clothes this way? I would think this is possible especially with hot water.
