Meh jjk has intermittent substance Jjk has a cursed energy power system that implies it from negative emotions which means its energy system could carry its own will/feelings But it drops the ball and use it like a nuetral energy source just like ki/chakra i could argue it could have used his to tell unique stories and could have build upon "demon inside trope" but the series only uses sukuna to tell that narrative.. a missed opportunity Yuji has a "die a good death" goal but the series doesn't pat off this suicide piece narrative and doesnt explore death in varying qualities to explore what a good death mean It just uses death for quantity and the typical im going to avenge my fallen comrad kind of way
