Interested in what you would recommend for a folding blanket?
Thankyou for doing all these tests, VERY surprising! 👍🏼

I just purchased the Volta 440 watt folding panel, using a victron mppt 150/45 I got max 452 watts ! which was correct when you measure the actual panel dimensions, So at the end of the day I think you get what you pay for. I soon a I saw the physical size of that panel I knew it was at max a 200 watt panel.

I did buy a 250w fleebay balnket, in full sun 25degs I got 93w so at that I presumed it was a 120w, returned it and the seller didn’t even argue or question it.

Wow! 93W from a 250W blanket. I got a 300W blanket at it averaged 65W. You must have got a good one, hehe. There really needs to be a tightening of the screws on output claims on fleebay.

There needs to be a new standard for selling solar panels because there are too many deceptive claims.

Did it ever do any better than 35W?
All the solar blankets seem piss poor.

Hi John, I left it on for a few hours and adjusted the angle towards the sun as necessary. I think it hit 38-39w for a few seconds.
