WHAT?? The airline let you fly to Hawaii with TWO (2) full size carryons? Do you fly like this often? Internationally? That Peak Design bag, on paper, seems too big to be a "personal item" bag. The quick shot of it under the plane seat really seemed to push the limit requirements. Do you know how much each bag weighed? Definitely seemed to be more than 15 lbs carryon limit instituted by some airlines. I also fly carryon only, and when I flew to Italy with a 40L carryon and 30L personal item bag for under the seat.. they made me check-in the 40L bag, claiming the 30L was carryon size, not personal size. I have doubts you'd be able to do this on international flights.

That is why I sold my Fstop pack and went with the 20L Peak Design. Now I am definiitly going to look into that travel bag for my trip to LA & Hawaii this Christmas/New Years. :)

@@atolavisuals That's because once back in 96 I paddled into a swarm of Portugees man o war and got stung neck to toe. 88 stings from the tentacles wrapped all around my arms, legs, back, and chest. Spines stuck in me all over and agony. Between my fingers and toes too. I looked like I had tribal tattoos everywhere. Now jellies and man o war don't bother me.
Haha you should see what I normally bring to gigs. Yeah I used this same backpack for hiking and doing office work for the whole trip too. I also have the everyday backpacks and a pelican case that I rotate. I have reviews for them too if you want something different
I have the manfrotto bumblebee 220, but its a bit dated now - heavy as hell when fully packed and peak design seem to be more innovative, i like this bag you showed. I just need to hire someone to lug it all around to save my back! 😁
I commented on your IG but.. airlines actually let you take that travel bag on as a personal item? That's a critical question for me, as I currently use a 20L PD everyday backpack for the same purpose. Would be pretty dope to maximize that space by using the travel backpack..

Why would you pack everything in the heavy backpack when you’re on a shoot. Please don’t promote the new Peak Design bag and cubes because they sent it to free, so you can give them free advertising. They ought to be paying you instead.
I didn't pack everything when I was on a shoot. I took a lot of it out when I went hiking or walking around or used the day pack. I packed it up for the plane tho! I don't promote things just caz they are sent for free or just because they would pay. I promote things because I use it and like it. I get lots of requests from companies for promos that I turn down all the time.
When it comes to peak design, I help to promote their products because I really believe in the quality of their stuff. This was not sponsored...maybe in the future though!
