I bought one of the first original 1upusa many many years. I just took a leap of faith since at the time there were no reviews. I still own that rack btw. It is absolutely loved after all these years.. similarly I will take a leap of faith when the new rack comes out and just buy a set of 3 like I did before!
Really!!! You are teasing me again.... for once I became famous on my comments...lol... kidding aside, this is undeniable the best rack in the market considering I’ve tried 2 top bike rack in the market which is Kuat Sherpa 2 and Equip D until someone told me about this rack.. Since then I knew this is the rack I’ve been looking for... Please, send me mine now and stop teasing me... lol... I’m in love with this rack and I can’t wait to show it off to Southern California MTB association.. To back up my knowledge on bike rack, I’m a machinist and I’ve always want to improve or modify what’s not been done or should have been done to a rack... NOT ANY MORE... Thanks QUIKRSTUFF... now send me mine now, you got my money.... lol
Great rack ... I'm spreading the word. I'm up in Canada so I'm getting the cash together to order one. My friends want to see it so I'd say you're going to have a few orders from New Brunswick. Like I said great rack and very well enginered.
If you say its the cadillac of racks i think i should cancel my order. I dont want mine breaking down. Now if you say its the toyota of bike racks then i cant wait till i get mine. 😂😂😂
Terrific bike rack and I would like one but the cost difference between the 1Up HD and the Quickr Mach2 having me leaning towards the 1Up. Also, I can get the 1Up rack delivered within 1 week. I can't wait 6 months!
Very cool rack! Unfortunately, I need a ramp to attach to the rack so I can roll my E bike on to get it onto the rack. I’m not able to lift my 50 pound E bike up onto a rack.1Up sells a ramp that you can roll your bike up to get onto the rack. Do you sell a ramp?
I love this rack, but boy-oh-boy is it expensive in Canadian dollars + shipping across the border. Also, I can't help but wonder how the support arms work with a bike with fenders.

This is a great looking rack and obviously very well made. I'm saving up my money for one, but seriously: 50-70 lb. Thule racks that take 2 people to put on and need to stay on all year? Come on man!! I have a Thule Helium Pro that carries 3 bikes easily (although not as securely as this would), and it is super light, yet strong aluminum that does not bend. It weighs only 20 POUNDS and my wife can put in in the hitch on my Volvo XC-90 all by herself, in the dark, with one hand in 30 seconds and it locks in very securely with a key. Super easy. I get your point. There are some real ridiculous heavy racks out there, but there are also very good ones too from Thule. You KNOW Thule makes great stuff. That said, yes, I agree, your rack IS the best made rack out there. I'll get one, but it is a bit steep for a 3-4 bike setup.
I have a Thule helium as well. I'm a Thule dealer. I'm basically hoping it lasts a couple years. Thule is 99% molded plastic. It works great but there is a huge overall quality dip with the Thule.
Torn between the 1up Super Duty and Mach2. Price difference is exactly $400 for a 2 bike setup and one fat tire spacer. Really tough decision cause that is $733 vs $1158 pre tax. With 1up having more accessories, no wait time, bigger company with, better support I assume. On the other hand, I’ll be taking off my rack after every use and love the tool-less design and modularity of the Mach2. Also folds so much more compact in my garage.
I believe the the person(s) that invented/started 1Up is the same person or team that created the Mach2. I'm convinced the Mach2 is the best thing out there. It's just brilliant. That said, I'm also carefully considering the cost.
I just ordered this rack at the end of July. I still have my Saris SuperClamp 4 until the new Quik Rack arrives for two ebikes+loading ramp. I've lived A-OK with the Saris for +7 years and can wait another few months. It is the +70lbs weight of the Saris plus storage, moving/deadlift, needing tools, hitch tightener, lining up the hitch pin, high lift over for +70lbs ebike, and having to adjust the trays for different pedal bikes, fat tire, and commuter ebikes was the issue with the Saris. All that is gone with the Quik Rack.
Well of course, us! :) But we are biased. Honestly they make a great product too. Ours is the 2nd major iteration of theirs (same designer/inventor), plus 14 new patents/improvements.
It was the added features of no tools needed to install, ability to use one or two racks as needed, no extra tools needed to adjust for 5' fat tires down to road bikes, light weight of each individual rack, and ramp option for my spouse's ebike.
I wish to the V-tray had lightening holes to help with weight, and that it was skinnier. Fat bikes would still be fine with the wide tire clamp, but would save some weight.
it might as well be a flying car...you cannot get your hands on one of these. I read an article the other day. 6300 orders waiting as of mid Jan 2021. I want one, but won’t wait 4-8 months.

Does it work with rear fender?
How much does it cost?

Can’t wait!
You better, I would imagine a year or more.

Have you got your rack yet

Has anyone recovered a rack is this company still making the Mark1 bike rack.
Nice...we'd love to review one 😉

Where is the locking mechanism. Someone could take it off right away.
Each accessory has its own lock and you just need one key for them all - quikrstuff.com/faqs/?Display_FAQ=3742
