Tighten hitch lever - Quik Rack Mach2
this rack does not have turn signal, brake lights and license plate lights. Therefore you can and will be ticketed in many places in US.
Not yet...
Dont hesitate to buy. Best bike rack on the market. I had purchased several expensive popular branded racks and all disappointed me. Got the quickr mach 2 and set it up and installed on my SUV out of the box in 30 seconds. Loaded my rocky mountain e-bike and took me 10 seconds to load and lock it down on the rack solid. AMAZING
Glad you like it. Don't hesitate to email us if you have any questions!!
This is the best bicycle carriage I have ever used
Excellent. I would have laid the ramp down and secured the back wheel first. Obviously, your way worked for you. It’s a great ramp
Nice job. I was concerned about the tree. 😃.
Nice video. Question on the bike rack. It looks like you are missing tire straps for that bike rack as well ? The arms of the bike rack are covering the wheel at angle - it appears to leave it exposed and if hit a bump the bike will move.
The bike won't move. After driving 600+ miles one way I had 4 bikes of various sizes never move and no straps on the wheels.
@@mich_ael0 Thanks. The bike that you demonstrated did not have mudguards or fenders. With vendors you will likely need a wheel strap. I really like the ramp but concerned it won't work for my bike with fenders (can't lock in the wheel in the back as the fender comes down too far). Hope that makes sense.
Doesn’t need tire straps.
@@markborao6144 I’ve used this ramp with two bikes with fenders. No problem.
This is the best bike rack I have ever used!
Please don't stop tightening the blue lever when it is hanging down toward the ground. It could hit a bump or a rock and get damaged or broken. QuikrStuff recommends tightening the blue lever until it lands between 9:00 and 3:00 (except not at exactly 12:00). You can lift the rack while tightening to get the blue lever to go further. It might seem that you're tightening it so much that you won't be able to get it undone, but you will. Also, in this video the captive safety pin fits nicely into the hole. That is not necessary with this rack; the captive safety pin only needs to sit behind the flange (lip) of the receiver. So, don't worry if you can't get the captive safety pin into the hole.
You are a cutie girl
When will the 1.25 inch Mach 2 be available to purchase ? The website shows it’s under pending revision. Thanks !
It's close. We should have news next week!!!
Great looking rack and demonstration.....unfortunately it is priced out of my range. As much as I'd like to support USA made, I can't afford that rack.
This is the video that needs to be part of the QR code when you receive the rack. Super helpful, but I had to hunt to find it. How to mount the license plate frame isn't clear. Maybe show us what it looks like. I ordered it but it was missing from my box so I have no reference. Thanks
Pricing yourself out of the market folks to pay for the 1up legal battle??? As a product design and NPI professional, there’s no way this should remotely break into $0,000. This whole no tool excuse is mute. Every biker carry’s tools. Every biker wrench’s to some degree. We are not allergic to using a tool. Other reviewers bitching over blah blah only takes 30 secs and this takes 90 secs doesn’t warrant $100’s… So wanted to be onboard with a USA product but you’re only reinforcing why products are made over seas to be of value to the middle class. I wish you success 🙏
Why does the ramp hook use flat head screws? Why not just use simple holes with panheads or socket heads?
This video is a solid 14 out of 10 from me; excellent, succinct presentation. This gave me so much clarity over what is (to me) a confusing product category and the Quik Rack Mach 2. Thanks! Ordered.
For the cost I would think you could offer a coupon discount. $1000 with ramp and accessories is pretty steep.
I love the brilliant design, the low weight and features. It's a shame you have to be a millionaire to afford an American made bike rack though. This is a much better product IMO than the competing 2 bike options, (loaded with plastic parts), but at 2-3x the cost, it is unfortunately way outside of mine and I'd bet most family's budgets these days. After looking at dozens of other top named racks, this would definitely be the rack I'd buy if I could have afforded it.
How do you put on a heavy Ebike on this rack?
The ramp is the way to go for that and then we also apply a LED light strip for our brake, turn and back up lights. Works great!
Looks great and better feature improvements but just cannot justify the crazy higher $$$ for the rack + $$$ for add-ons over the similar but not quite as nice 1Up.
Would love to support the original inventor of the rack, but man; it's cost nearly 50% more...hard to justify.
Dumb question: would you need two of these locks per bike?
Why are so many of these bragging about no tools? I haven't seen a rack of any type that needed tools in 20 years...
I had a Saris SuperClamp4 rack and I needed tools to add locking hitch pin and had to add a hitch tightener to reduce wobble. I couldn't install the Saris rack or my old Softride Dura Assist 4 without tools. I like the feature of not needing tools to install, adjust, and remove the rack.
Only one thing is missing on this item, being not able to lock bikes onto rack. My Thule is able to do that.
Excellent presentation on putting bikes on this bike rack
Quikr Rack, my suggestion for lights is a light bar mounted to the ramp. Mount using 3M H.D. Tape for the L.E.D. Light bar with a 4 way connector that will plug into the vehicle side.
maybe it's a pipe dream but it'd be sweet if these locks could be integrated into the rack somehow (to not be extra parts that can get lost, or if you forgot to move them from one car to the other being unable to lock your bike).
I bought one but my fear is that my multiple rack setup the license plate is too far back and under for it to be visible would have much rather had it attached to my ramp
I love my QuikrStuff rack. I bought the straps…mostly psychological support for me…on road trips, but really the rack is so good that the straps aren’t really necessary (on paved roads. I can’t speak to driving on dirt roads.) I would also recommend the wheel locks.
How much does it cost?
What about beach cruiser bikes with fenders???
The price is justified only if it lasts a lifetime. Is there product support if it fails (ie. pins or latches failing) from regular use?
someone could take an angle grinder to the frame holding the wheel. :-/
a tire chock would still help especially for a fat tire e-bike's front wheel. maybe add a tire chock with a slot so you can run a wheel strap through it to sandwich the front wheel? if not that, then something there holding the wheel securely on the opposite side on the track can add more support to prevent any oscillating wobble.
this could make the license plate more susceptible to theft. maybe add a key or other theft deterent mechanism? or remove the plate whenever the car is left unattended? although it might not be practical if parking in a public street.
I couldn’t wait so when with Kuat Piston Pro X instead
How much?
The hitch pin does not come off for a 1 1/4 sized rack??? Only for the 2inch rack… yes???
Love the design, just can't justify the cost.

What is the weight capacity for two bikes with this carrier?
Ive been Mountain Biking for 30 years and tried a myriad of racks, I bought a Mach2 & (2) add-ons, Never thought I could fall in love with a bike rack!!!!!!!
There is a real love out there for you, somewhere... 🥰
Where is the locking mechanism. Someone could take it off right away.

Need a video on how to remove an ad on rack....mine seems stuck but I can't confirm
😂😂😂
My rack arrived yesterday. It looks great! Took about 2 months to arrive. Waiting for the rain to stop to get out there, mount it and load up some bikes.
Just purchased this rack with 1 add on. Couldn't be happier. I'm trying to sell my Yakima HoldUp Evo. I may have to give it away. No comparison. My Yakima wobbled in the hitch receptacle and I had to shim it with thin cardboard. Also, the front wheel had a tendency to come out of the hold down on rough roads. Some are complaining about the price of the Mach 2 but quality typically isn't cheap. My POS Yakima cost $500.
Glad you like it!!!
Is there not a hitch pin involved?
Our Captive Safety Pin feature takes care of this on all but a few vehicles.
wheres the link to buy?
