    Healthy living is so important. Air circulation / convection are routinely overlooked by other builders (professionally & self-built vans). Mold & mildew so easily take hold inside a van. The spaces you allowed around, under & over the cabinets & components goes a long way in preventing that. One less thing to worry about. Of course it makes for comfortable & even heating & air conditioning too. Nothing escapes your attention in your van builds does it!

    Good Sunday Morning, George! I know I’ve said it many times over the years, but, you NEVER cease to amaze me with what and how y’all are capable of doing regarding van production! The bed works in this van is absolutely phenomenal! Well, ALL of the stuff in this short 170 inch van is for that matter! I’m just constantly amazed with y’all’s brilliant workmanship! Wow! Great video as always! Stay safe my friend! ~Jim in Houston,Tx~

      IDK. I mean, I agree that the van is nice but there has been a *massive* slowdown in the sale of vans across the board. Depending on pricing (and I know George may not have complete control over that in a consignment situation) a van can sit for a while nowadays.

    Pretty nice. George said that he would come back to the laundry drawer (4:00), but he must have forgotten. I was curious to see what, if anything, was special about it, apart from the closing mechanism. I like the pipes and cutoff valves that Humble Road uses for plumbing.

    Amazing how he's able to cram so many features into a motorhome of that size. Understanding that every added feature involves engineering, compromise, and sacrifice, if this were my RV I would probably want to figure out a way to incorporate a convection microwave. Not sure where it would go, or what would need to be sacrificed, but it's something I would definitely want.

    Hi George. Do you send out the red line schematics in an O&M book. Do you keep a book in the office of each van with the red lines and info of all the appliances and items in each van? You vans are so beautiful and thought out for each customer. You must have a way to keep them all straight. I'm old, so I made binders. I like holding something in my hand. If I win lotto you are the person that I am calling to start my van.

    • @HumbleRoad
      @HumbleRoad  7 месяцев назад +1

      Due to the custom nature of each van, schematics would take too much time to produce for each and every van. My design philosophy allows for "behind the walls" access throughout the van. Very easy to see what's what and also easy to run fresh lines in the future.

    Only Reverse Osmosis filters remove ppm down to zero, otherwise much chemicals and minerals remain. The problem with RO is the filter lifetime. You either have a short lifespan filter or have a system that rejects a good part of the water. Destiled is also an option, but an energy hog. I'd like to know your thoughts on this.

    • @HumbleRoad
      @HumbleRoad  7 месяцев назад +2

      sediment, charcoal and uv light. Does the job. You can cook with it, you can drink it. Compared to what comes out of your faucet at home, this is the best bang for the buck in a van.

    • @josidasilva5515
      @josidasilva5515 7 месяцев назад

      @@HumbleRoad I measured ppm after sediment filter and carbon, without change in the output (big surprise!). Only condensed water brought it to zero, and what is left in the boiler is scary. RO is also an option that requires experimentation, that is where you come in. Thanks!

    • @asnormal1362
      @asnormal1362 7 месяцев назад +2

      @@josidasilva5515There are different levels of water quality to be considered. For me, the goal is safe & pleasant drinking water, not water to the point of absolute purity. In nature the finest water is not void of all minerals & organisms, just void of nasty stuff we humans add. I'm good with that.

    • @josidasilva5515
      @josidasilva5515 7 месяцев назад

      @@asnormal1362 I used a 20 micron, 5 micron, and carbon filters in series with 325 ppm in and 325 ppm out. Then I replaced the carbon filter with a RO, and it went to zero but lasted for about a month. Also bought a destiler which also reached zero, leaving some scary deposits in the boiler. Always good to test with a meter just in case.
