damn this van keep on evolving and battle tested good idea to remove the back garage rack and replace it with hook rings, i remember it to be quite goofy on the first van
George, there is nothing more enjoyably than giving it all to designing- building something that will bring many hours of joy to someone. Perfect van for someone.
Contrary to adamant belief, George proves me wrong again. Life is not a trade-off between rate and volume, quantity or quality. Good things do in fact, come in small packages.
Lots progress this week, George. I love the MiniMe details and and your regular improvements as you put them out. Thanks for another great episode of Humble Road.
Wow, what a micro beauty! You can fit a whole bike in the garage space, genius. I like the modular garage where the shelf can be taken off if you need free space, very clever. Cherry wood looks so good with the black contrast. If I may suggest one aesthetic improvement: 1. The white control panel looks dissonant against black panels. Why not create a black panel cover and create an inset for it to sit flush in the drawer? Then it will be a black square in the cherry and match. I know this is bothering you too, ha ha! George, you are amazing. To start a whole new career in your golden years is simply astounding. What a success you have made of your life. A real inspiration for me. Thank you!
12:06 I know this is a better upgrade, but i still like one of the older version where you have cup trees stacking left and right potentially all the way to the roof lol
Man I love these builds. Have you made one on a Ford Transit Connect? I do have a suggestion (although I’m not sure it would work) can you put a quick disconnect cable on the outlet and switch on the front of the galley so you could completely remove that panel? Keep up the good work. I love watching and learning from you videos.
I love a Sunday with a Humble Road video. I love how you continue to improve or modify the mini me’s, giving new owners more options. So much going on the shop. I can’t wait to see what you create for me when I’m finally able to get started on a humble road van 🚐
I haven’t had a problem with my MaxxAir fan. But I’ll take your word for it and add a regular. I always get great ideas and tips from your videos. Thanks George.
I would love to see one where you move the galley out into the side doorway more then relocate the cooler fridge to the back connected to the gallery forming an L shape counter. This could be raised up to counter level with storage underneath
I really like your build out of the Mini-Me. Have you consider selling some of your creations as parts or kits for DIYers. For instance, I am converting a Promaster City and might be interested in your roof rack and the spare tire holder. There are other parts like the bed frame that could be a DIY kit.
George I like all your mini van builds. Was thinking about the VW Eurovan. I read there may be a remake of it in Germany. I would like to see it in U.S. with some modifications. Like a driver's side sliding door. I almost bought a 2002 or 2003 Eurovan a few years ago. Thought the price was too high.
We always add the end caps. In fact we tap and screw them in. First we pushed in the plastic piece, no good, popped out. So then we tried silicone. Better but not perfect. Now we use a 1/4-20 SS machine screw.
Mornin' George! Thanks for another showcase video (Jean must be so excited!) Just curious . . . what is the function of the 2 narrow wood blocks on both sides just inside the rear doors?
Agree on issues with the Slime. If you try to check the tire pressure, the Slime comes up through the valve stem, ruins the stem, and partially seals it. Guess how I know.
The white outlet, switch, and cover plate wants to be black. I guess it is that way because the special switch is only available in white. Wonder if plastic spray would work and last?
George. I love your videos. How many hours in your days? 36? No way you can get all those things done with such shorts 24 hours days 😂 love you George. I hope to one day be able to afford one of your vans. ❤
so cool!! I tried to model my build off your videos ... 80/20 etc. Even did a cardboard build 1st. 5 months on the road -- so far so good. Sure would love a miiddie for europe
Hi George, I’ve been watching for years, I finally got my hands on a used Van and I’m starting to plan out the build. Question, what IPad mount do you use in the mini-me?
I'm so in love with your Van's ❤ I live in Maine Moosehead area, would you use this hot water heater for a one person TH? I value your advice knowing you won't use products that don't meet your expectations .
George, your 120v toggle switch is a great method to keep someone from attempting to use the water heater and a hair dryer or induction cooktop at the same time. I use that method as well. However the water heater draws 12 amps at 120v (1440 watts), not 128 amps. That still leaves about 960 watts available from a 3000 watt inverter is you are using a factor of 80% of nominal inverter rating (3000 watts x 80% = 2400 watts). What factor do you recommend?
I've been subscribed to your channel for over a year now, I'm usually in awe of everything you do, your attention to details is usually top-notch. That being said, there's two tiny details that bug me with this van: - I would add end caps on the visible cuts of the 80/20 on the kitchen and the bed modules. - All the panel controls are dark/black, why did you use a white power socket with a black plate around it?
The face of the fresh fill gauge is white and it has a black trim ring around it. The outlet you mentioned plays off of those colors. When viewed in person it looks quite nice. 😊
If you want rear windows, I would not mount a spare tire back there. You will have to use the green Fix-A-Flat, or delete the grey tank and keep the spare tire where the factory put it.
@@HumbleRoad If you can omit the grey tank, then why have one at all? What would be the pros and cons of no grey tank? I feel a Google coming on my part, lol.
It's all a game of compromise. You can't have it all! You SHOULD have a grey tank, but what if the Spare tire AND the water heater are more important to you? Pick your poison!
Do these mini vans come with an RVIA sticker? Edit add: The reason I ask is because some resorts don't allow you to "sleep in your car". You have to have an RV or a tent. RV must have an RVIA sticker.
But everything else in your command central (and elsewhere) is black… dc plugs, usb plugs, dc switches, etc. I figured it was because the AC water heater / outlet was only available in white.
30a charging? Takes 12 hours of driving to charge an empty battery? Way too little power for me, 2 hour drive get only 60ah? Paltry, unless my math is wrong…
You’re just a big kid, George, all excited with his toys. I love it!
damn this van keep on evolving and battle tested

GOOFY?!!!
George, there is nothing more enjoyably than giving it all to designing- building something that will bring many hours of joy to someone. Perfect van for someone.
Yes! Like me! Saving and want to order one soon.
Happy travels to Jean & Mini Me 7 ~ It's nice to see a happy healthy George making dreams come true for outdoor adventurers everywhere. 😊
Good things happen to good people. So happy you found a substantial creative outlet. 😊
Absolutely!!
Contrary to adamant belief, George proves me wrong again. Life is not a trade-off between rate and volume, quantity or quality. Good things do in fact, come in small packages.
You and your crew do AMAZING work George ........ QUALITY that CANNOT be duplicated, elsewhere, by others !!!!!!!!!
First class in all the nooks and crannies! No corners cut. I just love it!
Lots progress this week, George. I love the MiniMe details and and your regular improvements as you put them out. Thanks for another great episode of Humble Road.
I agree. I find his devotion to refinement and continual improvement very satisfying.
Exactly!❤❤❤

I thoroughly enjoy your tours and your superb craftsmanship!
Me too! Simply amazing. Beautiful craftsmanship. Well explained too.
George, I think you have outgrown your new building.❤
Can't wait to hear about the fifth wheel.
12:06 I know this is a better upgrade, but i still like one of the older version where you have cup trees stacking left and right potentially all the way to the roof lol
when did you hit 100 George? Received your plaque yet?
PS: still waiting on your merch line ..
Your trailer looks dreamy! Love the finishing touches!!
Thanks so much!
Great design, thanks for sharing! I wanna see you guys do a stealth Toyota Sienna build! For city stealthing. That's what I plan to do
Another great looking build! Can't wait to see a fully done maxi me!
Ditto. Looking forward to the Maxi!
Very nice set up, inside and out. Reminded me of the inside cabin of a boat👌.
OMG. George I about spewed my coffee when you said nipple ring last place I thought I would hear that. Thanks for sharing all of your great builds.
😇
Mauro remains the visionary Maestro.Bravo!
Many thanks!
Wow!!! This is FABULOUS!!!
Looks like you're going to need a bigger shop!!!
Following you is definitely a highlight
Thank you George

This is soooo cool. Beautiful! Waiting for the Maxi me to come out. ❤
Can't wait!
Much better setup
I’d add cabinets on top of the galley instead of a shelf.
I’m an L track user as well.
I like the adjustable bed.
07 will keep her owner happy.
Hello George
You are a tease
When you went into your camper I thought you would show the bathroom mods
Oh well I guess I'll just have to wait
I haven't done too much to my little trailer just yet. Too busy building vans!
Looking forward to see maxi me

Wow love the bed lifting up!!! Great job!

Can't wait to see the limo van.
Thanks for the tour. That little one is adorable :)
AC wow!
now thats how ya do a little van, not watched for a while, but your bizz is really flying now aint it, well done
Nice…mini 🔥 16:08
As always beyond impressed!
Someone has a serious business, nice work
very nice George, I love all of them 👍👍
George is dedicated to quality & comfort!
Great stuff, George. I'm always impressed with every van you turn out.
George Im going to have you switch the options so I can power up and water down😉.
Ahhh! I see what you did there!
I love how you are always improving upon your designs.
Thank you! 😊 I try!
Awesome build 😎👍
Beautiful & Functional!
Approved. Two Thumbs Up! Nice job George and Crew!
Thanks again!
Love your work! Perfection!
Fantastic, George! You've outdone yourself on this design. It's so thoughtful and efficient.
I would love to see one where you move the galley out into the side doorway more then relocate the cooler fridge to the back connected to the gallery forming an L shape counter. This could be raised up to counter level with storage underneath
Oh! Oh! Oh!!!! Congrats!!! I spied a black box on the seat!!! Woohoo!!!!
Also, congrats that you are full speed ahead with so much business!
SHHHHHH! Videos to come! 😉
Nice to see you again🌺
Superb!11 So simple,but it rocks.
I really like your build out of the Mini-Me. Have you consider selling some of your creations as parts or kits for DIYers. We do not offer kits or parts for sale. Best to you.
Love it! I'm glad the mini's are popular.
vans look good , thanks
Thank you! You inspire confidence!

I almost bought a 2002 or 2003 Eurovan a few years ago. Thought the price was too high.
How about 3D printing some end caps for 80-20? I think it would look nice and more finished.
We always install the end caps. Just not at the time of this video.
George.... where did you get the adjustable bed lift sides? What are they called? Thanks Love your vans!!!
Awesome Saucesome "mini" me video George. Thank you 😎
I knew someone who used a snowboard for a wind deflector on their roof
😳🏂
Hi George, I would suggest to add end cap for 80/20. part# 2030
We always add the end caps. In fact we tap and screw them in. First we pushed in the plastic piece, no good, popped out. So then we tried silicone. Better but not perfect. Now we use a 1/4-20 SS machine screw.
WOW you’ve been a busy bee on your mini-mees
Sweet 😊
Nice work, congratulations.
Very cool!
Mornin' George! Thanks for another showcase video (Jean must be so excited!) Just curious . . . what is the function of the 2 narrow wood blocks on both sides just inside the rear doors?
Those wood plates hold the wall panels in just the right position to allow a nice fit. Sometimes, a compound shape needs some guidance... 😉
Agree on issues with the Slime. If you try to check the tire pressure, the Slime comes up through the valve stem, ruins the stem, and partially seals it. Guess how I know.
Toilet too! Composting? Where do you store the compost?
Not a composter. Urine separator/ bag poop and dispose of it.
Round the corners of that shelf!
But also love this mini me! Also won't the clothes rack be hard to latch if you will need 2 hands to lift it?
You don't need two hands to lift it. You need one hand to lift and the other hand to latch.
The white outlet, switch, and cover plate wants to be black. I guess it is that way because the special switch is only available in white. Wonder if plastic spray would work and last?
The white was intentional
LoL 😂 ..... Rings. 🤔🥳
George. I love your videos. How many hours in your days? 36? No way you can get all those things done with such shorts 24 hours days 😂 love you George. I hope to one day be able to afford one of your vans. ❤

That is awesome!
Nice work! small question: is there no space under the van for the fresh water tank?
No there is no space under the van for fresh water. And I wouldn't put fresh water under the van.
❤
Hi George, I’ve been watching for years, I finally got my hands on a used Van and I’m starting to plan out the build. Question, what IPad mount do you use in the mini-me?
I'm so in love with your Van's ❤
I live in Maine Moosehead area, would you use this hot water heater for a one person TH? I value your advice knowing you won't use products that don't meet your expectations .
the Bosch water heater is very difficult to fully empty for winterization. I suggest using marine RV antifreeze.
George, your 120v toggle switch is a great method to keep someone from attempting to use the water heater and a hair dryer or induction cooktop at the same time. I use that method as well. However the water heater draws 12 amps at 120v (1440 watts), not 128 amps. The 128 amps is the DC draw at 12V

@@ronbrand3121 That's what I thought when I noticed the water level gauge, but it still looks weird to me.
@@HumbleRoad I feared you lowered your standards for a second. I'm relieved to hear you didn't.
Great looking van, what brand is that swing out mirror, need one for my boat.
Amazon
Lol! nipple rings… I don’t know if that is sexist, but it is certainly funny !
What about the MMs with windows in back, won't the tire block the view? Maybe the view would still be good enough?
If you want rear windows, I would not mount a spare tire back there. You will have to use the green Fix-A-Flat, or delete the grey tank and keep the spare tire where the factory put it.
@@HumbleRoad If you can omit the grey tank, then why have one at all? What would be the pros and cons of no grey tank? I feel a Google coming on my part, lol.

No RVIA sticker. And I would argue that point. I follow ABYC standards which exceed RVIA standards. We all know how $hitty manufactured RVs are.
@@HumbleRoad We are members of Thousand Trails. They require RVIA sticker and will "write you up" if they catch you sleeping in your vehicle.
Love it!!!… but that white-faced outlet/switch plate is not right. I can’t un-see it. It’s gotta be silver or nickel or similar.
metallic switch plates are dangerous. The white plate is intentional. Easy 2 See!
But everything else in your command central (and elsewhere) is black… dc plugs, usb plugs, dc switches, etc. I figured it was because the AC water heater / outlet was only available in white.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
🥰
I always knew the snot I put in my mouth as a kid would some day prove USEFUL 😉
I don't recommend ever using the Slime. A lot of shops won't repair a tire if you use it. Too much of a mess for them.
he said nipple rings lol +5
😇
