Thank you so much, I just got elrs running on my t-lite, thanks to your video.
I never used opentx companion before
I watch different videos before, but only your video helped me
If you are satisfied, a sub and like would help out tremendously :)
I would love to buy you a coffee if you are ever in Perth WA. Thank you so much for such a well put together and clear 'how-to' instructions that actually work - Well done!
I have an old TBS crossfire on a Jumper T-Lite. Been having troubles but your video quickly cleared a few issues up. Had to downgrade the Crossfire firmware as well. Thank you.
Perfect video for the new Open TX.
Oh God, you jus't saved my T-Lite's v2 life. I bought it a week ago and I wasn't able to make it work. I think that she came disconfigured from factory, or with wrong software but now I was finally able to use it in Liftoff!! Thanks a lot.
IT WORKED!!! I cant believe you fixed it! You're frickkin Awesome dude. Thanks. Liked and subscribed!!!
It worked.!! Thank you for the valuable information😍
Thank you so much, this worked perfectly for me on a mac. Much appreciated.
Successful update! Thank you mate
That really really helped, great video man!! Thanks!
Thanks , video was very helpful!
Excelente paso a paso. Logre actualizar sin problemas, muchas gracias.
Man, thank you very much!
Thank you worked great for me!
excellent .. Thank you so much ..So good ..You can shake hands and follow.
THANK YOU!!!
can i just download and install fw on the interanl protocol module and leave everything else alone if i'm happy with it as is? I just need an ipm update so my t lite can control the gyro on a xk290 brick, but so many steps -- looks like just updating the ipm part would be easy enough?
Thank you so much
Thank you! The video steps are clear and on point :).
One question: If I update the Internal Protocol Module, will It continue to bind with my old xm+ receivers or should I update the receivers as well?
You may not need to update the xm+ FW because you will still have the "x" protocol option.
Ihave the Jumper T-Lite 4JNP1 How I can test the trassmision power?...
Thanks for this tutorial, it's a great help 👍👍
nice.. thanks
Thanks
Hi I have a Jumper T lite Frsky and I would like to run ELRS on it. Is there any way i can do it? i am low on budget so didnt get the tbs tango or radiomaster Boxeer, Tx16 ELRS versions.
you can get an external ELRS transmitter module from several different companies and attach it using the external module hardware that came with your T-Lite. We have Jumper's version: www.ironquad.com/product-page/jumper-elrs-aion-tx-2-4ghz
does this work with the 900 MHZ version? when you get to the multi protocal at 5:16 it shows the 2.4 Ghz module.
I believe you may have the T-Pro as the T-Lite does not have an internal 900mHz version, or I don't think there is.
Thanks for the tutorial. I was able to update open-tx but when it comes to updating jp4in1 protocol, I get an error. Any idea?
shorten the file name to under 7 characters
Hello there, can I update just the Firmware only? So I don’t have to update the IPM? Please let me know,Thank you very much.
yes, you should be fine. However, the radio will let you know if you need to update the IPM on the bind screen as it will flash a message to do so.
When I plugged it in my computer can't recognize it I'm sure I'm using a data cable and I have a SD card plugged in
Hey, I'm missing the AETR channel in the openTX program. Do I need to install something to the these?
are you referring to when you are building the radio settings?
@@IRONQUAD Yes, when setting up the standard profile for the radio.
@@bench9266 I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the opentx companion.
i upload the firmware, but my voice still dosen't work, any reason why?
i can see the folder of sound in the sd card trough my radio, but dosen't work it!
How big your is SD card? (as in how many gigs)
Hi ... I cannot find the firmware dowload... where can I get it ? it think mine is corrputed ....
the video shows step by step on what you need.
I didn't get the nice little icon with the mm-stm-serial.bin??? It was hard to tell if you wrote to sd and swapped or if you wrote to sd over usb. I wrote to sd and swapped, always faster.
Both works, but for 180k file, you can just transfer via usb
Thank you! btw, First comment :)
great video... i seem to have choice of internal and external RF - somewhat redundant, but are they the same thing and this is just how open tx views the device? thanks for your concise video
the external RF is when you add a transmitting module. unless you have separately purchased and added a similar 4in1 or CC2500 external module or a specific tx (expressLRS or CRSF) you would want to use internal.
@@IRONQUAD seems logical; i was just surprised that all of pascal's multimodule protocols appear to be listed on the "absent" external RF option
@@ashleycollard8968 he is probably using an external 4in1 or CC2500 module because he's using a proprietary radio (I.e. Frsky, TBS, Spektrum)
@@IRONQUAD nup, it's a jumper t-lite... but it's all there according to the screen, in int and ext RF
however, as the throttle wires aren't intact (soldering it later today), i don't know if it's artefact
uh... in build options why isnt there the option bindopt? I need it for my XM+ receiver no?...well I did this n now my receiver has solid green n red light
you do not need bindopt
I no longer see any files for the t-lite J4in1 , do you know if the file listed as t-lite 5in1 is compatible?
its above the "CC" version.
@@IRONQUAD that 5 in 1 must be the new Radio master Zorro
@@sburnham3 I believe Jumper is releasing a 5in1 version of the T-lite
@@IRONQUAD My problem is i just bought the t-lite ... I couldn't wait any longer as the usb plug on the betafpv radio2 came apart and i was simless. now i'm sad as the zorro looks to be what I was waiting for .
@@sburnham3 Function wise, it doesn't look like a big difference. The only difference is the zorro offers internal ELRS but you won't get the benefits of 4in1. You can also add the ELRS and CRSF to the T-Lite and basically comes down to the looks.
A few days ago I bought a "Nazgul5 V2" with a Frsky R-XRS receiver, and I have a Jumper t-Lite as a transmitter. I have done all the steps that appear in the video, I update the transmitter but I cannot find the correct model: Frsky X.
I go to SETUP/Type but Frsky X is not here and I can't select it.
Hope someone can help me.
IRONQUAD, thanks for your videos, they are very interesting.
You will need to either update the radio transmitter's FW or find the protocol "FRSKY" and change the subtype to "D16"
When I get to 6:59 it now says HeliSetup. How do I correct this?
You need to access the radio system menu (SYS key) and NOT the models menu (MDL).
Hi, something got wrong. I have copied on the SDCard the firmware provided by the website of Jumper. I run the Bootloader 2.3.13 to wrote the Firmware. And I get now a black screen and a message like 'setup warning' (not quiet sure). I tried your tuto to get it fixed but still the same problem. Any Idea?
Is the screen more like "Wrong SD Card version"?
@@IRONQUAD Bootloader screen (press bottom buttons + Button On) is fine. When pressing button 'on' alone, the screen shows the logo OpentX without backlight, then I hear the warning 'setup warning' (not quiet sure), then the screen turn to be black and the led is red. Pressing buttons (ENT or RTN), a bip is emitted, the led turn green. pressing again it turns red and the warning is back...
@@bdauma Are you still running the same SD content on Jumper's website? If so, please use the SD contents from OpenTX companion.
@@IRONQUAD I have created in Companion 2.3.13 my radio Tlite (basic ), then I download the firmware (opentx-tlite-en.bin) and The SD card (sdcard-128x64-2.3V0038.zip). I have uploaded the firmware from companion to the radio. I have formated a sdCard then copied all the files from the zip file. I have insert the SdCard in the tlite radio, then swith it on normally. Same prb: The screen shows the logo OpentX without backlight, then I hear the warning 'setup warning' (not quiet sure), then the screen turn to be black and the led is red.
@@bdauma please contact Jumper RC support and open a ticket with them. I will be able to help you further but need them to be involved in the process.
after updating I can't bind on frsky xm plus. how to bind? me manda o fw 2.3.12
The type is "Frsky X" and you can select either D16 or D8 under "subtype"
@@IRONQUAD I had the wrong version for my radio.now it worked .veversion 3.2.14
Man you have to make the video clear steps by step i really never understand do i put the jumper t lite folder to the usb or i just copy all the files for sd card and put them to usb 🤷♂️
The files go into the USB drive. The reason for making Jumper T-Lite folder is to extract the files from the zipped folder.
А как быть с jumper t2 pro Edge tx? 😢
Great video. But I am having an issue connecting my T-lite to a FrSky R-XSR receiver! Its driving me nuts. Do you have any ideas on what to do? Would this help?
Depending on how you are connecting the RX, make sure it is on the correct mode. (SBUS or PPM) If you press and hold the "bind" button, it switches colors from blue and green? I forget the colors but you can find more details in the RX's manual.
@@IRONQUAD I bought a Nazgul5 V2 and it came with a FrSky R-XSR already on it
@@jml4798 You need to use FRSKY_X2 and find the RX manual online to make sure the light color reflects "SBUS"
@@IRONQUAD OK. I'm really new to all of this. So, what do you mean by that?
@@IRONQUAD is the "RX" the receiver?
I did all now when i go to the framewar file in t lite and its shows that theres no file what to do please help 🙏
Int mod bin it’s missing please help
Now i put the last file I forgot to put it and its show in t lite the int mod file but when I wanna try to flash it its says need file stm-opentx-noinv) can you help please
@@FPV-ke1ef I'm not sure what exactly your question is but from what I read: 1) Did you download the right FW for the internal module? 2) Did you shorten the file name for the internal module FW?
Hi there, now my radio won't start up. Do you know how to restore the radio? thanks :)
Did you format or modify the TLITE drive?
@@IRONQUAD Thanks for your response my man! No I didnt do anything with that drive
@@FAIRZoCKER781 can you go back into bootloader mode?
@@IRONQUAD Yes I can. The problem is, as I turn the radio on, the LED becomes red and the screen goes black
@@FAIRZoCKER781 reflash the FW and let me know if the problem persists

Quite clear, but much too fast for beginners!
1:53 bei der T-Lite der sogenannte schwanzgriff
Man I followed it, then plugged my T-Pro into comp, doesn't recognise it :( Spent about 24hrs on this now. I just want it bound to my emax tinyhawk 2 freestyle :(
This is NOT the T-Pro but T-Lite. Not sure if Open-TX has updated yet but you will need to either email JumperRC or hopefully they have the T-Pro FW on their website
@@IRONQUAD no update yet. I'm going to get hold of the supplier and find out what to do. Thanks
@@IRONQUAD found out the problem. Sent back the ELRS, got the 4in1 T-Pro. Solved it!
