That's right, I can also imagine in the song that Kiedis is like telling a tale into the song. The rhythm is catchy and all the instruments creates a unique harmony. Underrated song!

The way he translates the human experience as far as exploring all of our deepest inner fears, secret's, pain in life as mortals just amazes me how he's able to take you on such a vivid, realistic feeling, & journey

From what I can tell from interviews and such, JF didn’t like Nirvana when KC was alive. Then after he died JF fell in love with them (both song writing and guitar playing). Feel like KC was a major influence on this guitar solo. Actually sounds like it’s him playing it.
