Here’s an idea: For the bridge, you could put construction workers at the end working on the bridge instead of just cutting it off. Congratulations on the play button by the way.
i think it'd be sick if you added some smaller, thinner 1 way roads, alley ways, maybe cobblestone roads.... other kinda weird little realistic city stuff because right now i feel like it feels quite planned out
@@originaljoke-y5f honestly when i was in some more mainland european cities they had a lot more stupid roads than britain ngl, especially places like Rome
It would be interesting to see some triangular shaped buildings or just like unique shaped ones integrated into the new part of the city, congrats on the play button btw!!!
I love your city, I love that it’s alllllll you and no one else’s ideas, even lego. It’s just simply beautiful, your build techniques, your dedication to plant life, I could go on and on. Best city on RUclips by far! I would say one last thing, the true lego fans will never be bored with your videos, I wish they were longer honestly but I get it, your city is so expensive that you can’t do a lot each episode. Cheers to you and your channel Oh ps even your ad was hilarious and it wasn’t boring, I didn’t even fast forward like I normally do
So glad I found your channel. I got into Lego videos a few years ago but lost interest. This style of video is the future. It's like a Minecraft building series but with Lego. Love it.
Suggestion: You should make an overpass for your pathway to help it go over the road and onto the other side, on your upper module. The city is looking nice!
You should keep a air purifier running in there to collect dust so you can save some time cleaning if you have to at all. Easy purchase on Amazon or your local retail store
Considering where your port is located, you could extend your "water feature" up to the future L-shape and have the bridge go over it with ships passing underneath, connecting it over to the other side.
You should take out the white tiles at the intersection and replace them with the grey. Or leave half of the line (depending on left or right hand drive) white. This way the roads will look a bit more natural!!
Congrats on 100k subs, I knew this channel would grow really fast because (as I’ve said before) this is the BEST LEGO train layout on the internet! Also wanted to mention a little trick used by model railroaders is to place a mirror on the wall at the end of a road so that it looks like it continues and didn’t just stop, it’s a great effect.
Wow! That’s amazing! Can’t wait for future updates! Congratulations on 100,000 subs! You definitely deserved them 😊 the new location that you are going to at some point will hold many possibilities! Keep up the great work 👍 😊
Now that you have the angled road into the corner... you could have the buildings set back so that you don't waste space in the corner. So those buildings could have a front yard/driveway or garden. It will be interesting to see how you deal with the angled floor spaces around the roads.
If you were to keep any Lego Modular buildings I think the pet store and apartment should stay. They are just so simple and good. Fit well. Or as an idea maybe when we you eventually move into a bigger space, make a like “downtown” or “original” sector, where it is only some of those because I think they still deserve some love and you’d still add your magic of making the streets, sidewalks and stuff.
love these videos, I love seeing people be passionate about certain toys, like for me it's LPS (Littlest Pet Shop) but legos are so cool and seeing these big cities and stuff is so cool
What a wonderful milestone. I was originally a little underwhelmed with the progress of the city itself, but the genuine unboxing of the package really made my mood. Good job on the handling Rick! In terms of the road itself, I think you should now just put some slopes to straighten the angle and end it in a half built bridge. In the future, you should try keeping the odd angle from the beginning and extending the bridge all the way, making it traversible for both vehicles and pedestrians (with side bridges or an underbridge). The bridge could also be a great point to attach planes flying above or below it, most likely with strings hanging from the ceiling. I most definetly believe you should find a place to display your play button in the city itself. The area in which you're currently building is at a significant height next to the rest of the city, and I think it would be fitting to add a podium with the button itself on the side of the wall.
I would suggest to keep the back road straight and the roads toward the camera to be in 45 degrees to create a triangle. To make it more interesting you can have the road in a wave pattern as oppose to a straight line. In addition, the bridge sounds incredible. Perhaps incorporated with the water and a small vacation island in the front that the bridge would lead to.
i would add a shopping street filled with stores and maybe even a movie theater. I love the videos and am very impressed with all the thing you come up with. much love
At the spot where the road abruptly ends, it could be cool to have some sort of enclosed space it goes into, like a parking garage or maybe under a low bridge to hide the transition
Imo if you make an X and box it in its a pretty realistic road layout and lets you have room for some interesting stuff. Also if i may suggest- a highway interchange by the edge that connects to that road. Then you can have cars and stuff and continue it on as time goes along

@@7tales311 they didn't use to be stupid. Most roads rn used to just be the direct way between like 2 farms or churches in ancient times
The roads are super clean! I think the idea of a bridge is pretty awesome, and fits with the idea of a harbour close to it.

I think the solution with the bridge is the best one. It would look fantastic
I think the angled street was a really good move, once all the city blocks are filled in you're gonna be really happy with the added visual interest.

His sponsors are so entertaining that I don’t even need to skip
And congratulations on 100k!
A channel of water draining into the harbor would be really cool and would help integrate the upper section with the harbor.
The way those slopes connect to make the bend in the road is so ridiculously satisfying
And intelligent

Great I love the idea of the non perpendicular roads.
That is super cool 😀😀😀you should make a medieval section😀👍👍
You should consider the flat iron building in New York for the back triangle. It will be a design, but also something you can do from a photo
Congratulations on 100,000! I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Yours is the best Lego city on RUclips! Keep up the good work!
