Thank you, I need to do comic videos more often, they are a lot of work but I love doing them. Good luck, I hope you find the comics you want for a great price.
Love both type of videos! And found this one very informative. There´s a couple of comic books I hadn´t heard of that now I´m going to check out. Thanks!
Pop Fun To Play I have a large stack of comics (maybe 30) of older comics, (Rocky and Bullwinkle, Richie Rich, Donald Duck, etc) that you can have for free if u want. I don't use them. :) if youre not interested no biggy lol
Especially liked the last group of comics you called a 'hodge podge'. but they were all interesting and I found something to like in every batch. The 'kiddie' really cartoony comics usually don't interest me as much, although I know some can be fairly valuable. That being said, I recently picked up a small group of Richie Rich's and Archie's just because they were in a small grouping all together (reasonably priced) and some of the covers were pretty humorous. So almost nothing in comics is without some merit, or at least worth a look. Thanks. And remember to be appreciative of a spouse that will indulge and tolerate your obsession! Greetings to the cool kid.
Cool junk shops are really a thing of the past and not much more left in the world. I recommend visiting all your local thrift stores, sued book stores, antique malls and shops. Eventually you will find some places they get comic books and you can add them to your regular places to check out.
Sadly I don’t have a comic shop near me. Nice video Man U should definitely keep collecting these comics and keep making good videos thanks for making my day!
Yes, so many awesome comics with great artwork and stories that are not key issues that you can pick up for $1 or less. Its fun to collect for the comics themselves.
I enjoyed this vid as well as your Funko vids this week. I've just bought my first Pops because of you :) From this video I got curious about 'Strange fruit', I'm definetely going to check that comic out. Dig the old comics btw, if not for the covers, then for the way they used to print 'em and ofcourse the delicious ads. And since you asked: what I'd like to see is what you bring back from a fleamarket visit (assuming you go to those ofcourse). I imagine it will be toys, comics, cards, old magazines, neat ol' packaging etc. Would be really cool. But what makes your vids appealing to me isn't so much what stuff you feature (well, maybe not yarn... can't imagine that being interesting) it's your enthusiasm and mannerisms that make it so enjoyable. I think you shouldn't max out your creditcard to make content. Just be yourself and show whatever you love, whatever that may be. Just my 2 cents :)
Yeah the old way the comics were printed and the way they smell to me are special, I really like holding them in my hand and feeling the 30-50 year old essence. Most of my local Flea Markets suck, I tend to find a handful of 25 cent comics and the guy wants $5 each so I pass. So for me picking them up from Thrift Shops, and used stores like Book Off works way more. I do want to eventually try to do some Flea Market Videos outside of New York City one day. Maybe hit up one of the big yearly events kinda thing. And thank you, I really appreciate that its me you are here for as much as the stuff and I appreciate that. I do buy too much sometimes lol but thankfully I have the shop to purge out some stuff at times. Although I do keep a lot and hope to have a large space one day so I really can make a lot more content with what I already own. Thanks for the insightful comment I really appreciate it 🤓
SQUEEE! Love seeing these JTHM. They def are printed saying reprints. Holy shit #1 signed too? Wow i woulda shit myself ha. I would love that in my collection. Got all my JTHMs iv had since middle school. Got me into comics so they mean a lot. Been picking up any Slave Labor Graphics iv been coming across.
Oh and someone down there asking for an eBay store made me think is there any place I can buy things from you besides your actual store(I am guessing you have a store from the vids)
That is very true and at least you have places to find them where I live the closes book store is a 100 miles from where i live and the thirty stores and antic stores generally dont have them so when they it's a rare find for me
If you stalk ebay there are usually some great deals on variants there. I have found many comics for $2-$10 on ebay that are for sale for 10 times more on my comic shop etc.
I wonder: Did Marvel Comics come out with their Super-villain team up Series BEFORE or AFTER D.C. Comics did their version of the premise? Also, Joe Kubert did just the Cover-Art for the Rima Series. The interior-art was drawn by the Philippino I Master Artist Nestor Redondo. Anyone who is an nice art Aphisionato might want to pick up the Rima Series. Redondo was at the top of his form when he drew the Art for said Series - top-notch Art!
I enjoy doing them, even though the Funko Videos are way more popular I am trying to do at least 1 comic video a week since I really love comics and love doing the comic hauls.
Nice, I had not looked it up yet. The artwork looked interesting to me and I am always drawn to indie comics like that. I have actually been collecting stuff like that longer then Marvel And DC stuff. When I got back into comics in the early 2000s I mostly purchased Indie and Sci Fi stuff. I don't see any sold on ebay but I do see people are trying to get around $100 for it. Thanks for the heads up.
Junk shops that get comics are the best. I am definitely going to keep doing one a week. I will probably be doing a multi part collection series soon though.
I actually managed to pick up Sub-Mariner issue 51, 52, and 53 in very fine condition for just 65 cents a piece. Don’t you just love it when someone doesn’t know a thing about comics?
Pop Fun To Play Yeah, the guy that sold them to me said he was gonna bring a couple more long boxes early next month. I asked him if he could bring in some spider-man stuff, crossing my fingers for some first appearances.
Usually its like a light switch, if something happens that drives up demand the price does a fast upswing online. New shows, new trailors, new movies. New appearances of characters in the comics etc can increase the demand. You can always check ebay that will give you the newest pricing info on sold listings. Mycomicshop.com is also pretty good at keeping up with price increases.
Oh that is a good idea. I have thought about it a little but I think a video on the best ways to start selling your collectibles would be very very helpful. Being able to sell and purge parts of your collection at times is a very important part of collecting.
I am not sure how popular he is here, but I really like him. I have a few of the ThreeA action figures, the Funko Pop, the Mystery Mini. I have his first appearance in 2000 AD #2, I lucked out and bought it for $20 a couple of years ago. I also pick up any of the comics and magazines when I see them, I probably have 200-300 different. One day I would do a small collection tour. I absolutely loved the Dredd movie and kinda excited they are talking about bringing it back as a TV show on Netflix.
Yeah it was a shame the 2012 Dredd movie didn't make much money and never got a sequel, but hopefully Karl Urban will return for the Netflix series and we'll get to see more of him and Judge Anderson's (Olivia Thirlby returning as well, please!!!) adventures, also would love Funko to extend their Judge Dredd Funko Pop line to include Anderson, the Dark Judges and the Angel Gang, have a word with them would you and get it sorted, Cheers Man. (Great Video by the way.)
Variants don't mean too much to me. In that 32 for 60 group, the bronze stuff is the most interesting to me, and seems like you got a good deal. It seems like you overpaid a bit for the $100 bronze group.
I love the enthusiasm you show. It matches what I feel inside when I find a comic with a really cool cover or something I've been wanting to get for a long time. Keep the videos coming.
Recently found a complete three set of Contest of Champions right after watching Rangnorak on DVD. Also purchased five comics signed by Marv Wolfman. Keep the videos coming.
That is true, I always say collect what you love so you always love to collect. But if you can get that item that makes you happy for a lower price you can get another item as well which would make you even more happy ;)
I use to sell a ton on Ebay and Amazon but it burnt me out. I would work 12 hour days and would barely make any money. The problem with both is they are labor intensive so the more you sell just means the more labor you have to hire and that does not lead to more profits. I am thinking of ways to do something though that hopefully is not as hard to do.
You do know this video is 2 years old correct? I just checked Mycomicshop and they are selling them for $8-$20 now so you are right they are worth more.
Getting home and watching a comic collection by this guy is always awesome.
Getting watched by this guy when he gets home is Awesome.
hi man, you're awesome. New subscriber here for the comic vidz.
Thank you, I really need to do more Comic videos its been over a month since my last one.
Love your comic book videos
Thank you so much, I really need to do more.
I've always loved comics =>
Comics are the best.
Love the intro😂

Thank you, there will definitely be a ton more Comic hauls this year.
Love the comic book video keepem coming I'm getting back into the hobby....Thank you my friend.
Thank you, I need to do comic videos more often, they are a lot of work but I love doing them. Good luck, I hope you find the comics you want for a great price.
I remember having those Rima comics! Man, I lost some many comics but I am glad l still have the rest of my collection! Enjoy your video!
Sounds like your are time traveling in your mind, very cool.
Huge fan of your videos! Such original content and your friendly personality makes the video so fun! 😊 keep it up with the comics!
Thank you so much, I really want to do way more comic hauls in 2020. I have been buying so many lately I really need to make a few videos.
Love both type of videos! And found this one very informative. There´s a couple of comic books I hadn´t heard of that now I´m going to check out. Thanks!
Very cool, I am very happy you enjoy both. And its even more awesome if you learned something new after watching the video.
Nice hauls great video.
Thank you! 🤗
You're my favorite kind of collector! I love watching your videos, thank you for continuing to make more videos :)
thank you, I am happy you enjoy my videos ;) as long as I can I will keep making videos!
Pop Fun To Play I have a large stack of comics (maybe 30) of older comics, (Rocky and Bullwinkle, Richie Rich, Donald Duck, etc) that you can have for free if u want. I don't use them. :) if youre not interested no biggy lol
I would definitely be interested, contact me on Facebook.
Especially liked the last group of comics you called a 'hodge podge'. but they were all interesting and I found something to like in every batch. Definitely a few interesting comics in that batch of comics.
That is an amizing Collection man 👍👍
Thanks ;)
Love the comic videos. Keep doing them.
I definitely will :)
I wish they had shops like what you go to where I live. Great deals great mags. And getting all those titles by paying in store credit, how cool....
Cool junk shops are really a thing of the past and not much more left in the world. I recommend visiting all your local thrift stores, sued book stores, antique malls and shops. Eventually you will find some places they get comic books and you can add them to your regular places to check out.
I think I'm one of the few people who prefer your comic videos
Awesome, hopefully I can get more comic video viewers so I can do them more often. But for now I will try continue to do a weekly video.
I LOVE all of those Marvel Monster Magazines. You’re correct in stating that they’re somewhat tough to find -
well worth the effort though! :€)
Oh yeah they are really neat, any time I find them I am super happy.
Sadly I don’t have a comic shop near me. Nice video Man U should definitely keep collecting these comics and keep making good videos thanks for making my day!
That does kinda suck. You can find pretty decent lots of comics on ebay if you are looking to complete some runs of stuff.
good stuff, i'm in it for the comics. especially the cheap ones.
Yes, so many awesome comics with great artwork and stories that are not key issues that you can pick up for $1 or less. Its fun to collect for the comics themselves.
It's comic book time!!!!!
Itttt'ss Comic Book Tiiimmmmeee!!!!!!!!
Keep the vids coming man! Love your stuff and I'm learning along the way :)
I definitely will, I am happy you enjoy the videos :)

I love both comics and pops
Both are awesome!
I love me some Bronze Age. The two runs I wish I could get at the same prices you did were KARATE KID and the RIMA.
Yeah they were in pretty high grade and a great price, I did luck out. Good Luck I hope you can find them as well for a good price.
The horror mags had some cool art
Definitely I love those old school painted covers.
I like your variant covers that you got for60.00$ you had a lot that I haven't see before and I like your vamperlla my girl friend would love them
Yeah I love finding cool variants for a cheap price, they are always harder to find and tend to have nicer covers.
Another great video!
Thank you :)
Love the comic vids a lot.
Awesome, I love making them and will continue to try to do one a week.
SQUEEE! Love seeing these JTHM. They def are printed saying reprints. Holy shit #1 signed too? Wow i woulda shit myself ha. I would love that in my collection. Yeah I pick them up every time I see them cheap. Very fun to collect!
I ❤️comics you ❤️comics lol more comic hauls please 👍
Oh and someone down there asking for an eBay store made me think is there any place I can buy things from you besides your actual store(I am guessing you have a store from the vids)
I only have the physical store, I had to stop selling online after 12 hour days for 8-10 years straight. It burnt me out.
I did not know that the person who made invader zim made Johnny the maniac I may need that now lol
Haha yeah that is the main reason who I collect the comics.
Finally watching this video I've been so busy, anyway awesome as usual
I know how that is, but I am happy you found time to watch.
That is very true and at least you have places to find them where I live the closes book store is a 100 miles from where i live and the thirty stores and antic stores generally dont have them so when they it's a rare find for me

Fun video👍
Happy you enjoyed it!
Wow you collect so many comics
Yeah I pick up a ton when I find them cheap. I need to do a full purge of my duplicates soon though I am running out of room haha
We get it, we get it: you really like comics. Good for you.
Hahaha Yes I do.

It looks like DC copied them about 10 months after the Marvel series.
I really enjoy your comic book vids. Don't care about Funkos
I enjoy doing them, even though the Funko Videos are way more popular I am trying to do at least 1 comic video a week since I really love comics and love doing the comic hauls.
Fight or Run is a pretty valuable indie.
Nice, I had not looked it up yet. The artwork looked interesting to me and I am always drawn to indie comics like that. Amazing👌🏻
Thanks :)
Keep the comics video coming! I am here for the comics, like to see what you pick up!! Junk shop..I need some of those around here!
Junk shops that get comics are the best. I am definitely going to keep doing one a week. I will probably be doing a multi part collection series soon though.
Hey do you still have those back issues of Kroft Supershow
I believe I do because I kept them for my collection. Definitely nostalgic neat stuff.
I actually managed to pick up Sub-Mariner issue 51, 52, and 53 in very fine condition for just 65 cents a piece. Don’t you just love it when someone doesn’t know a thing about comics?
Very nice, I want to put a set of that series of Sib Mariner together, I love the covers.
Pop Fun To Play Yeah, the guy that sold them to me said he was gonna bring a couple more long boxes early next month. I asked him if he could bring in some spider-man stuff, crossing my fingers for some first appearances.
I love comics
Me too!
Yes do a lot more comics a lot more
alright, I will.
Where is your store dude!!! I need to go!!❤️
It is located in Brooklyn, NY its called PopFuzz.
How do you tell if a comic book is starting to go up in value is their like a website or something?
Usually its like a light switch, if something happens that drives up demand the price does a fast upswing online. New shows, new trailors, new movies. New appearances of characters in the comics etc can increase the demand. You can always check ebay that will give you the newest pricing info on sold listings. Mycomicshop.com is also pretty good at keeping up with price increases.
Do you sell any of your collection and can you a video on how you sell your comics I'm a new collector and try to make little bit of money on the side
Oh that is a good idea. I have thought about it a little but I think a video on the best ways to start selling your collectibles would be very very helpful. Being able to sell and purge parts of your collection at times is a very important part of collecting.
i have the first appereance of Angela in Marvel comics it's the last issue of age of ultron
Very cool. I think there were a few variants to that comic. I have 1 or 2 of them bit still need the rest.
i saw a funko pop variant for the new captain phasma comics
That will be cool, do you have a link to the picture.
Pop Fun To Play okay
Pop Fun To Play forbiddenplanet.com/227387-star-wars-journey-to-the-last-jedi-captain-phasma-1-funko-variant/
OH that is a fun cover. I wish they included comics like that in the Smugglers Bounty boxes.
How does Judge Dredd go down in America? Do you have any Dredd in collection?
I am not sure how popular he is here, but I really like him. I have a few of the ThreeA action figures, the Funko Pop, the Mystery Mini. I have his first appearance in 2000 AD #2, I lucked out and bought it for $20 a couple of years ago. I also pick up any of the comics and magazines when I see them, I probably have 200-300 different. what is the local junk store called. today i went to the one on driggs and they didnt have anything.
We can talk about it the next time your in the shop.
ok np and of course another awesome vid
Thanks ;)
Holy $#!+ look at all the ZIGGY stuff.
I do have the worlds largest ZiGGY collection haha
Use the CLZ App. $15. Plus you can upload it to the cloud and download it to a tablet or something.
I think I tried the trial version a few years ago and kinda liked it but it seemed a bit slow for my taste.
Pop Fun To Play I've had it for a couple years now. Pretty fast!
One of these days I will have to do something to get organized lol I tend to buy stuff way faster then I can organize it lol
Variants don't mean too much to me. In that 32 for 60 group, the bronze stuff is the most interesting to me, and seems like you got a good deal. It seems like you overpaid a bit for the $100 bronze group.
It is a gamble sometimes. I personally like variants that have cool cover art that are harder to buy when I can get them for a good price.
I love the enthusiasm you show. It matches what I feel inside when I find a comic with a really cool cover or something I've been wanting to get for a long time. Keep the videos coming.
I am happy you enjoy the videos.

You don't overpay, if you are happy.
That is true, I always say collect what you love so you always love to collect. But if you can get that item that makes you happy for a lower price you can get another item as well which would make you even more happy ;)
I have 25 comics am sale for $140... Some Awesome stuff
Probably out of my price range right now.
Merry Christmas 🎅🎅🎄🎄🎄🎶🎶🎶

I am happy you are enjoying them :)
😵 YOUR SO LUCKY!!!

Get an eBay please

Delusional. Ain’t no way in gods green earth are old man Logan going for 5 to 10$.
You do know this video is 2 years old correct? I just checked Mycomicshop and they are selling them for $8-$20 now so you are right they are worth more.
