Many thanks for watching and commenting, I'm not a fan of most wheat beers as they should be cheap throw away ones. I've decided that a rant on this subject should be incoming, I will try to keep it to the around ten minute mark 🤣. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
Great video yet again. With wheat beers the clove bannana taste etc is from the yeast. It would of been a different beer if you used the kit yeast. Keep up the great work Pete
Many thanks for watching and commenting. The off tastes and the cloudiness is a fad, cloudy wheat beers should be cheap as chips not the other way round. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
I wonder how much wheat malt they add to these kits. Should have some degree of cloudiness as you know. A bit of a let down I can tell. None of the aromas of vanilla and banana & lingering clove after-taste they tell you about. Thanks for sharing and very valuable information for anyone looking to brew up this kit. Cheers mate
Many thanks for watching and commenting but I have to disagree 😲! A wheat beer should only be cloudy if it is sold as a cheap substandard beer, not if it is sold as a standard or, heaven forbid , as a premium fad beer to people who don't know any better. Masking the poor brewing process by using a substandard yeast that adds a banana off flavour and poor flocculation just compounds the issue. I will stop now as the whole issue needs a good ten minute rant 😉. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
Many thanks for watching and commenting and I have to agree. I don't bother too much to contain my derision on the varied "fads" that have sprung up and as the amount of different kits that I haven't previously done/ revied are now drying up some general rants may be coming out 🤣! Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
Hey up Schnuz, good to see you fella. I do have to be in the mood for a wheat beer, couldn’t drink it all night. Think the M20 can ferment up to 30c, so it may still be usable if you get to brew another wheat beer. I brewed the style a couple of times and first one in the keg went clear like yours and got told it should be cloudy so next time I bottled it, and to tell the truth I preferred the keg clear one, we do drink with our eyes too. Cheers \_/
Many thanks for watching and commenting and I'm not a big fan of wheat beers, mainly due to the fairly recent fad of charging more for what is a cheap tacky beer. I'll stop ranting about beer that should be clear before I start 🤣! Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
Many thanks for watching and commenting and I've already reviewed most of the kits that I would prefer to do so I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel by now. I started reviewing all of the available kits probably two years ago thinking it would be something nice and easy to do but it turned into a bit of a nasty monster 😱 🤣. I think next it might morph into views on beer fads and why they are all wrong unless they are like a good boddied Northern Bitter 🤔 🤣. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
have you seen the mj kit offers on brew to bottle matey? Pleased i didnt get that one, i think the hop bitterness on that kit was only 1out of five thats why i didnt get it, i like my bitterness 3~5
Many thanks for watching and commenting. I do look at offers but as I order on line these days I tend to use the same supplier as they are normally cheaper if you don't take the haphazard offers into account. As for the beer you weren't really missing much 🤣. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
Ive made 2 wheat based beers and I just cant get on with them, nice looking pint again, thanks for the video and review. Cheers 🍻

@Schnuz I do agree with you there, I'm not a huge fan of wheat beer. All the best and cheers for all the quality videos 👍

Great review as always, sadly I am not a massive fan of Wheat beers, I always think they split a crowd. Cheers matey 🍺
