Nice video. You had me at "I can't play like him"- GOOD ! Vai already exists, and you need to find your own music. I have an RG, it's amazing. 😎 I'm still a RG/JEM guy as i find the colour PIA a bit bling, its the Dubai Edition but still cool.
Thanks man. Vai is one of the big reasons why 15 year old me wanted pick up guitar, making this a bucket list guitar for sure. But I feel the same way in that it's important to find your own way. The white and gold definition makes a statement but under natural light it looks less gaudy and more appealing to pick up and play 😆 glad you like the RG, those rock!
To me most importantly These hold their value like a Gibson & fender or at least my 777 Jem's did and went way up in value over the years. I'd say these will be no different.

Coz most guitar review when they do sound demons it's mostly just the boring shredding and only the guitar. But with you we get to hear the guitar in a song together with the other instruments...thanks man.
I think the best color is powder blue its also the one I have and I think it's probably the easiest looking one for a normal person to pull off white look too glamorous and green pink is ridiculous
Great question. I would because I like how it feels to play the PIA and I personally dislike the majesty. The majesty isn't bad at all, I just personally dislike how the neck feels and how the body sits on my leg
Oh I bet it’s a phenomenal guitar, no doubt about that, I wouldn’t mind having one in my collection, but I might feel a little self-conscious playing it on stage, it’s just so posh looking and I’m just a t-shirt and jeans sorta guy. I’m way more towards the Bonamassa realm than the Vai one for playing style as well.
@@primeDecomposition I feel that! I love the more simple look because I record my own stuff, I personally know I'm an average guitar player. I don't exactly need the Ferrari of guitars and extra extravagant guitars don't appear modest. But this guitar makes music so much fun it's worth it to me!
Tough choice. Both have their strengths and drawbacks. First I'd save my cat and then I'd grab whichever one was closest. I like the neck profile and how the body feels on the J custom better, but I can play the PIA longer, the scalloping is very nice, and the fretboard feels slightly better
They stay the onyx black will have paint issues. Turning its matte finish to kinda glossy in a funny way. Is it true? I got a good deal to purchase one at a good price.
Yes it's true. All matte black paint finish will become glossy where your fingers and arm contacts. A lot of people like this because it shows that you play the guitar
Unfortunately not, I haven't gotten the chance to play a JEM or Universe for that matter. Compared to an RG or j custom, it feels like a completely different guitar. The PIA's body edges are rounded so playing it almost feels like a stratocaster, of course with way better fret access, the volume isn't in the way of your hand, and the neck is Ibanez thin
