Is there someone to tell me where is the button to click 5.000 likes? 😲 I'm 70 yo and this is the best show I have ever whatched in my hole life! We'll love you forever Mr. Emerson! 💖🎶🎵🙏 RIP
This is top level sorcery by incredible musicians. I couldn't stop grinning watching the interaction between these two! The accuracy and speed is amazing. Thanks Noddy's Puncture and Keith for sharing this epic broadcast.
Keith was happiest behind his beloved keyboards.......such a tragedy as he always looked to be happy and yet inside he was being eaten up by a something not many of us know the feeling of....he is and will always be in our hearts and our musical souls...missed and loved by thousands......we will always love you Mr Emerson....I would have loved to have been at this gig...
If I was there during this I would have had to be taken home in an ambulance have fainted numerous times not believing what I was watching and hearing this has to be a one off experience for any ELP fans out there !
What a jam! The sorcerer & his apprentice trading spells. Very 'Emo' tional moment never to be forgotten. Keith was so generous and accommodating, gently steering the proceedings without outshining his protege. Keep the flame burning, Tom.
I was working while listening to Rondo from 1970, but decided to click this for some reason, and now watching it, i have the biggest grin on my face and i simply can not work, this is amazing!!
I just now saw this in March 2021. I can’t believe what I have just seen ! This was AMAZING!! In spite of his out of this world musical abilities and success Keith came across as just an ordinary guy. He was truly an extraordinary human being.
Nope, you are correct in playing and composition. But I do think that Tom and Noddy's Puncture does the best job with realism, equipment, and keeping with the originality. Nothing of course taken away from the great Rachel Flowers, Manticore and Everyone Loves Potatoes.
I LOVED IT!!! First I thought it was Keith Emerson playing then i noticed the length oh his hair and concluded that in 2005 he could'nt have the same haircut than in 1971...then Keith arrived, never seen such à crazy duet and tribute! R.I.P Keith, you have inspired many great keybordists in this world, thanks for that brillant and exciting "gig"!!!
This is the vibe every jam band on Earth tries to achieve, but never does, in my opinion. Two brilliant keyboardists playing off each others' energies. Beautiful!!
I also smiled through this whole video. The fun these two guys were having was infectious. Keith's inspiration will live on for along time, as he was such an inspiration for so many musicians; both keyboardists and others. As long as these videos, like this and of ELP alike; he will be endowed in musical history....can you tell I'm a fan?
This is still amazing. I shared this on reddit a few years ago and it got pretty popular. I've done it again now! I hope people come and see this masterpiece.
That is one of the greatest things ever. Keith also comes across as an absolutely top bloke. I can't imagine playing in a pub and all of a sudden the great man himself comes on and duets.
MISTRZ i uczeń - Keith Emerson i Tom Szakaly, ale to obaj wirtuozi klawiszów !!!! Niesamowite przeżycie. Czy coś jeszcze dodać? MASTER and student - Keith Emerson and Tom Szakaly, but they are both keyboard virtuosos!!!! Amazing experience. Anything else to add? Maestro et élève - Keith Emerson et Tom Szakaly, mais ils sont tous deux des virtuoses du clavier !!!! Expérience incroyable. Autre chose à ajouter ?
Absolutely fantastic! It's a rare treat to ever get to perform with one of your musical heroes, and to have it preserved on video for ever is a massive bonus. I was once lucky enough to perform Fire with Arthur Brown - a highlight of my modest musical 'career'.
WOW!, to have Keith play with you Tom.....WOW! That's a fucking Memory!....... I love to see natural / unrehearsed jamming, it lets you know who the pros are.....Holy Shit Though.......
David - you know we have an audio CD available of the night...!? Emo OK'd it and even suggested the title for it... "Thank You Masked Man...!" let me know if you'd like a copy... 😀
@@noddyspuncture I'd like a copy! I dig Emerson utterly, and enjoyed your performance & contributions at the Birmingham memorial concert too (Noddy & Nice!). Let me know how to acquire one, please.
Good for you! I smiled ear to ear through this whole video. Having met and performed with many of my heroes, I know the thrill. But nothing can compare to this!!! Back to back with a GOD, and keeping pace nicely. Kudos, brother. You deserve this for honoring his music and legacy.
This is phenomenal!! It’s so good seeing Keith really enjoying himself and showing why he was (and is) the keyboard king. If only... And Tom, if you did work that out on your own, then massive respect. I’ve worked out some of it, but to have do the whole lot is awesome! A fabulous fabulous video!!!
Also, Tom, I really respect you as a musician. There is no sheet ANYWHERE for Rondo, so you must've written this arrangement by ear. To do that you must be a huge ELP fan.
This is so deranged and genius. Who the heck wakes up in the morning and says I’m going all Jimi Hendrix like on my keyboards….and puts this masterpiece together? RIP sir.
WoW. Pensei que era o Keith quando jovem. Que surpresa !! Muito incrível isso acontecer em um pub. Sorte de quem estava lá. Único. Obrigado por postar.
I can honestly say .. watching this today was the first time I've smiled inside when I think of Keith and the way he touched our souls .. since "the day of sadness". Thank You for sharing this with the world. Has Mari seen this ?
Fantastic, great memory to have for the rest of your life, you earned it, excellent work yourself and a proof your dedication to learning the art paid off.
Truly amazing ...... What an outstanding Man Keith was .... and you to have played with him at your gig .... well that has to be the icing and the cherry on the cake..... you lucky lucky man... :-)
Pretty freakin' spectacular, Tom! Gained a new level of respect for ya, dude! Keeping up with the ol' man & makin' us proud - makin HIM proud, too. I would've crumpled under the pressure. 👍👍👍
I wonder what must have been thought of the Violin when it was first invented...................... ah man. I look and listen to this and 'nowt' but admiration. 'amazing' be not a word I recognise.
ime a lifelong elp fan,was 14 when i first saw them and recorded picturess at the city hall newcastle. Most upset when i heard the awfull news about keith, cried when i saw this.this video is priceless, are there any more.by the way tom saw three of your concerts last year amazing
You got to live out my nearly life long fantasy and I am imploding with jealousy. Congratulations on that. Hopefully when I die the line to jam with KE won't be infinitely long. Great job.

You look like Emerson when he was younger, this video looks like Emerson was playing with his younger self, so amazing.

Amazing beyond words! Unbelievable that it's been 5 years this year that Keith passed away. He deserved better than what happened to him.
Absolutely fantastic! It's a rare treat to ever get to perform with one of your musical heroes, and to have it preserved on video for ever is a massive bonus. I was once lucky enough to perform Fire with Arthur Brown - a highlight of my modest musical 'career'.
This is like watching Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker battle an entire Imperial army...

Two friends having a grand old time! How excellent!!!!!
He was like "get out of my way, I can still do this"
1:30 Holy shit the synchronization is otherworldly. Imagine the energy to be hearing that live.

You are a happy person because you played with the master Keith! You will never forget it! He will stay in your heart forever...
10DEC2018 - Cracking good show, 13 years later and it plays like it did upon release back in 2005. Enjoy your days and MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!

wow...must have been awesome to have been playing with emo and he letting rip ...so sad he died the way he did, but his music lives
THEME FROM LUMPY GRAVY YESSSS.
Oh. My. God. I agree with everybody who's posted so far. Legendary. Love it. Sin that there's only 213 views.
the low amount of views is probably because it was just posted yesterday...I'm sure it'll go way up
Give it time, it was only uploaded yesterday.
WOWW! THE ONE & ONLY!!! WHAT A SUPER GENIUS KEITH WAS !WOWWWWW!!
I never heard of your band until now - you're good.
However, Keith took you to school! This was incredibly fun to watch.
There's always someone who has to try and piss on the parade. If you can play as well as Tom , step up buddy !
wow bro you must have been in your glory that night. seemed like a good person Mr. Emerson. God bless him and you too
Pretty freakin' spectacular, Tom! Gained a new level of respect for ya, dude! Keeping up with the ol' man & makin' us proud - makin HIM proud, too. I would've crumpled under the pressure. 👍👍👍
I thought this was a plain good cover of Rondo, then this other guy intrudes.....and it's him.

This was magic. RIP.
Excellent video bravo! All the trash RUclips has been offering me in the last year and a half and just now they come up with this....sad.
Great stuff here. Thanks. In 1969 we saw the Nice in a Toronto club, The Hawk's Nest, not much bigger than this.
Both great!
Qué belleza por Dios!!! Gracias!
By the way, a CD of the night is available... message me...! ruclips.net/video/GOYa8LpQZ0k/видео.html
