Great video, looks like you enjoyed our island. Usually these videos from tourists provide a lot of bad info, mispronunciations of places etc. This was well done. A few small things. Mountain Top is not a mall. It's the highest point on St.Thomas on Crown Mountain. There was a fire there in 2009 that destroyed the whole place, it used to be very different and what you see is what was built afterwards. The last place you visited was called Skyline Dr. Scenic Overlook. The red fort is called Fort Christian and it's the oldest building in the USVI. The date 1671 is not when the building was finished, but the year it was started. We jokingly call Emerald Beach The "ooooh aahhh beach" Being right by the airport, when we fly in, as the plane turns from the runway to the taxi way all those on the left side of the plane will get their first view and the words "ooh aahh' can be heard, especially if this is their first time to St. Thomas.
@@FowlerFamilyFun No Problem. One thing I missed. You mentioned in the beginning of the video that someone said Royal Caribbean owns the shopping area. I have heard rumors on island they were looking to buy it. However, the Royal Caribbean shop and the cruise line are NOT related.
My husband and I went there in 1995 on our first cruise and after almost 30 yrs of cruising St. Thomas is still the most beautiful port we have been to.
Looks beautiful ❤️. Daniel and DeeJay Arms went on a vacation that the island looks a lot like St Thomas. Not sure of where it was but they hunted the iguanas.
Thank you so much for this video. My wife and I are sailing on the Dream in two weeks, on a 2-week Journeys cruise. This is one of our many stops, so I appreciate your video. Now on to your San Juan and St. Croix videos, as we will be stopping there as well.
Wow that’s gonna be a fun cruise. We were on the Dream last May for a 6 day cruise. We would love to take that Journeys cruise. We have a series of videos for the our Cruise on the Dream it’s obviously not the same ports but might help with the cruise ship if you haven’t seen that series it’s in our playlist.
@@FowlerFamilyFun Yes sir. That is how I came across your channel. I was on the Magic three times, out of Galveston. Once in 2009 and a back-to-back in 2011. Being the same class ship, it took me back. Keep on crusin'!
Happy 30 th Anniversary! After a long wait, We finally werer able to go on a cruise to St Thomas last year for our 37th wedding anniversary/ honeymoon. Loved it so much, we have planned to go again in April 2025 for our 38th. ( when you wait that long we decided to do it twice) Wishing you both the very best with many more years and blessings together.
Thank you for showing us everything even the prices. We are going in April to coco cay and San Juan then St Thomas and I was afraid if getting off and not knowing where to go. We are going on the Synphony of the seas this is our first Caribbean cruise ❤
Great tour. My old roommate from the Keys lives in St Thomas it is so beautiful. I agree that didn't look like a $12 drink. But seeing the beautiful beach is so calming even while I'm freezing here in NW AR. God bless
We booked it right there in the port. You will see all the buses right by the exit. I want to say we paid $25-35 a person but I can’t remember to be honest. I know we bargained with them and got it a little cheaper.
Yes…. There were several of us staying and we all agreed to spend 2.5 hours there and he picked us up 2.5 hours later. It was pretty simple. I sorry I could be off on the price of the tour I thought it was $10 a person my wife thought it was more like 25-35.
Love St. Thomas. Megan's Bay is in the top 10 beaches in the world so you definitely missed a lot but hopefully you'll visit there next time. St. John is also nice.
Y'all need to go back. You missed a lot to see on st Thomas. There is another port with a lot more going on. Visit downtown shopping and you must go over to St. John
Coming off a cruise, i just want to go to a beach for 2 or 3 hrs, then come back to port ⛱️. Will there be taxis or safaris at Megan's beach ready to take me back to port?
The bus tours all at the port and there will be several people at the exits trying to sell them. I wish I would have talked about the price right away cause now I can’t remember. My wife thought it was 20 a person but I thought it was more like 10 a person. Sorry for not given that info . I’m still learning the things I need to add to the videos

The bus tour can be found right in the port area. There’s people walking around trying to sell them if I remember right it’s $20 a person. I could have sworn I took video of the guy talking to us about the tour and the price, but I could not find it.

So did you book the tour thru the ship, ? How much for the tour?

@@FowlerFamilyFunso did the tour guide leave y’all and come back to get you ?

Magens Bay is fantastic.
Very beautiful
How late does Emerald beach stay open ... ?
Considering a 2026 cruise on Adventure of the seas.
It is probably our favorite cruise out of 25 cruises now.
Love St. Thomas. Megan's Bay is in the top 10 beaches in the world so you definitely missed a lot but hopefully you'll visit there next time. St. John is also nice.
We're looking forward to visiting Megan's Bay on our next trip to St. Thomas. And eventually making our way to St John
Magens Bay. Named for the Magens family that once owned the land.
Y'all need to go back. You missed a lot to see on st Thomas. There is another port with a lot more going on. Visit downtown shopping and you must go over to St. John
We will certainly go back to St. Thomas. You’re right there are a lot of other things to do there. St. John would be a great visit.
Love your videos ❤
Coming off a cruise, i just want to go to a beach for 2 or 3 hrs, then come back to port ⛱️. Will there be taxis or safaris at Megan's beach ready to take me back to port?
Yes. If you taxi there, there will always be taxis to bring you back as well.
What tour did you take and what was the cost?
The bus tours all at the port and there will be several people at the exits trying to sell them. I wish I would have talked about the price right away cause now I can’t remember. What do suggest on the St Thomas port?
The tour we took was really pretty good but when we go back we are gonna check out either Megens Bay or Sapphire Beach. We also want to check out St. John’s it’s just a quick boat ride over from St Thomas
So what exactly did you do ? You did not indicate what bus route or cost for this impromptu tour?
The bus tour can be found right in the port area. There’s people walking around trying to sell them if I remember right it’s $20 a person. I could have sworn I took video of the guy talking to us about the tour and the price, but I could not find it.
