Not 26 hours, but I played this game 11 hours (non stop) with my friends once, and we stoped playing because there were other people who needed us to do other stuff. If it wasn't for those other people, we would still being playing today. That was 11 years ago... 👉👈
Lmao that Wario Stadium combo used to be a real friendship wrecker back in the day, remember we had one friend that didn't know how to do it and kept saying "Fuck you, play it fair"
holy shit, playing this back in the 90's i knew the wario stadium trick, but getting back over and finishing the lap. i never knew ya could do that. blew my mind
I think I saw that one on a Fruit By the Foot wrapper. I’m like you though, I didn’t know until recently that you could jump back over to the finish line.
My buddy got me with that Rainbow Road jump last week during a round of Beerio Kart. He never tried before, kind of a Hail Mary pass. It was sort of impressive, I couldn’t even be mad
Any one notice he missed the one on the Desert Course, with the trains?! If you have a star and enter the tracks on the 2nd opening, and then go through the tunnel using a star, it will jump you to lap 2 automatically! Pretty dope.
I just realized that basically every track from N64 has been brought back in a future game. Choco Mtn, Frappe Snowland, Moo Moo Farm, Banshee Boardwalk in MKDS Jungle Parkway, Mario Raceway, Sherbet Land, Bowser's Castle in MKWii Koopa Beach, Kalimari Desert, Luigi Raceway in MK7 Royal Raceway, Toad Turnpike, Yoshi Valley, Rainbow Road in MK8z The entire game has pretty much been remade.
Wow, really awesome video! There were many I did not know about. There is one missing, though. In Royal Raceway, there is a glitch type of shortcut when you drive off the big ramp, to the left, and hit the dirt. It can sometimes cause Lakitu to set you down near the end of the track.
Hey madn :))))),,,Hast du das selber gemacht? Auf jeden Fall ein tolles video. Ich wollte noch sagen das deine videos immer RICHTIG GEIL sind *~* ;)))). LG Tom
my sister bought an n64 a few weeks ago off ebay and we relived all our 90's fun over Christmas!!! Its great!!! This was our favouite game! Did you play Diddy Kong Racing? We are trying to get the hang of it again! :)
Its great to enjoy the great N64 games. Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong Racing are wonderful games. I possess both of them and I love them. they make fun, even though they are that old. Its nice to hear that you are able to play them again. I love nostalgic N64 games and thats a really awesome idea for christmas time. I know that the multiplayer of those games are the best experience.
At 4:00 and 7:00 you can do the same thing in koopa's beach you can climb up a wall next the the right of a red arrow and the next one is at the two trees if you jump at them right then you can get stuck or sink into the ground
Nope! You missed one thing!! This is something I discovered in my youth, and found out it had been taken out in later MK games because it was broken. On trick you did not show, and might not even know about, is the Blue Shell Trick. In this game, and ONLY this game, you can hold the Blue Shell behind you, just like the single Red and Green shells. It's the only known defense against Blue Shells until the Horn was introduced!! However, it must be behind you when the Blue Shell reaches you. Both Blue Shells nullify each other and you're safe!!
Ah thanks you're right. I know this trick too. You can hold the blue shell behind you and just try to hit someone without letting the shell go. Its an powerful weapon and very funny. I remember many situations in that I just hold it for three rounds and just to have a little more fun with it to shoot it in front of the finish line to hit myself. Its really funny that the blue shell hits the first player if you are the first :D. Its like the funny case of the red shell. You can shoot a red shell on the first place and it might hit the last player from behind by following one round. But the red shell then doesn't target the last player. It only follows the course on a central route. The shells in MK64 are the best. Many people say that they cannot hit someone but if you know the mechanics you can aim really well and there are a lot of them. I never thought of it that way. Maybe they really changed the mechanics of the blue shell because you can use that trick in MK64. I guess thats the reason we can't hold a blue shell anymore. But I love that mechanic in MK64 so much.
***** I've actually been in first place, shoot off a Blue Shell, and it made an entire lap before hitting me again. It was ONE time, but it still happened. And I know, I think they figured that out and made the change for the GBA version and DD and all others afterwards.
wow haha thats great. I can imagine that situation really well. :D Sometimes there are such crazy situation. For example I managed only one time to activate a star during a flash. I guess you know that the computer can always use a star even if they are small but a player cannot. Well then I was small because of the flash and at the same time I had the star activated. Yes the computer is unfair :D they can use the star even while they are small and I know that they get an item without hitting a box for it. If you look at toads turnpike you know that the computer never drive towards a box and despite that they get an item.
***** That was just mean!! Also, Mirror Mode/Reverse on MK64 was just the WORST!!! I would LOVE to see someone do Reverse Toadstool Turnpike and NOT get hit even once!! Seriously, it's the hardest level of MK64 if not all time, or at least top five!!
yes its really hard but if you get hit by a car you can use the fast start by pushing the a button frequently before hitting the ground. So you can start with maximal speed. Its a great trick.
I still have my old neon orange n64 plugged in now and the people who don't know how cool 😎 it is are missing out on lots of games and nostalgia and I know all the nostalgia of Mario kart 64
+playMadn In Mario Kart 64, right before you finished one of your laps, you can use a green shell(s) to ricochet yourself over the barrier, which will make you fall until Lakitu pick's you up. If you do it in the right place, you will trigger the lap while falling, be set back right before the finish line, and be able to finish another lap. The glitch is very difficult, but can save yourself an entire lap.
there are a very select few that you showed in this vid that i did not know about which is pretty cool. i thought my brothers and i figured all of them out but we missed a couple lol
If I recall correctly, there’s another Shorcut on DKs Jungle Parkway. It’s been about a decade since I last played MK 64 so I don’t know the exact details. There’s a very thin space of grass that leads you to the bridge but you literally are driving on the edge to getting knocked, and since you get hit by the spiky ball if you drive on grass, the trick is to use a star. If done correctly it cuts some track directly to the bridge. Also I remembered jumping extremely high on the platform when crossing the river, so high I was able to go across the green trees. I don’t remembered the circumstances, but I remember I was playing as Yoshi.
I know one more shortcut in the Royal Raceway: if you jump off of the big ramp, float in the air to the *left* and don't mess up, you will get on the last part of the track and skip the boring hills part! Try this yourself! 😉 *And oh, I forgot to mention that it is very easy to fall in the water! Be carefull how you jump!* 😉
I actually found another glitch in Royal Raceway that skips a portion of the course. I haven't seen or heard anyone mention it, and it works very rarely, but I have done it at least a few times. At the end of the big ramp, turn left and aim for the very corner of the cliff between the water and the land, and Lakitu will put you near the end of the track. It may only skip a bit but I used to love getting it to work... Hated trying.
does your dad know the trick to have quick full speed after a hit from a shell, star or something else. Just keep pushing A multiple times from the moment you are in the air. Then you have high speed in an instant after you can start driving again. Its also good to use the speedboost from drifting. Its important to use the lightning to let him fall into the abyss. Almost every course has a good place to make use of your lightning.
Yep screen watching is integral in all n64 multiplayer. Always has been, always will be. Wouldnt have it any other way. Its one of the skills you need to be pro.
lol I knew approximately only 1/3 to 1/2 of those tricks and I considered I was like a special snowflake for that :P (I was like 11 back when I played mario kart) I should never clicked on this video .. it didnt make me sad but now things are different since I was not as good as I thought I was :P
its only in 50ccm mode. 100ccm or 150ccm remove the complete barrier. The remake of this course in Mario Kart Ds has no barrier in any capacity at all. beim glichyoshi valley 2 komme ich ueber den Zaun bestens drueber, aber wenn ich wieder auf die Strecke gebracht werde, geht es ganz normal in Runde eins weiter. Was mach ich falsch, was muss man alles beachten, damit das hinhaut?
You missed one, in royal raceway when you get to that ramp, turn left and jump at the boost you’re going to be sent to one of two materials (the dirt or the grass) if you land on the dirt and get a poomp, lakitu will bring you to the finish line. One time I landed on grass and got a poomp and lakitu picked me up but when he got to the normal road after you boost (without using the shortcut) he was glitching up and down in the road before eventually landing me at the finish line facing the opposite direction. I just call that one a freak accident but the first one is not an accident and is a legit shortcut.
You missed one on DK jungle Right before jumping the river, you can longshot yourself over the trees background I did it by pure accident. Also, there's a point in which you can drive on a very thin pathway, but the little spiky ball will push you to the water. If you have the star, it can take you all the way to the bridge. Sorry I haven't played Mario Kart 64 for over 8 years. I can't remember the tracks very well
Theres one on royal raceway just after the bridge you go towards the left and scale the mountain and hit a certain part and miss a lil part of the map but an advantage maybe a second or 2 but gotta be accurate

narutoshadowclone1 Yes they should work in the Grand Prix as well. I used the time trial mode because its easier to get mushrooms for some shortcuts. But all of them are possible in grand prix.
1:47 Der dürfte auch auf der Wii Version gehen ^^ viele von den Shortcuts kannte ich ja gar nicht XD Wenn du Englisch redest klingt das bei dir ziemlich gestellt ^^
There is one disadvantage to these shortcuts though, which is that you usually get punched in the nuts by your mates when you use them.
Hahaha
Or they usually bitch and claim that you're "cheating".
But some of those are official shortcuts. So then there is no reason for the punch 😋😉
They shouldn’t have been looking at my screen anyway.

In Luigi Raceway: If you use a blue shell while on first place near the goalline, you can use it to make it shoot you over the wall, saving half a lap
