Sophie nailed Ned's reaction. This is not PTSD. Nothing about Ned indicates that he has PTSD. He was proud that Arya was learning to fight and then he realized his baby was going to have to fight.
@@crconway7926 This doesn't make any sense. It was 100% PTSD, especially when we learn about his past. Their was no reason Ned would think that Arya has to fight anybody 😂
Thanks guys, that was as enjoyable for me as the last two uploads. You are SO entertaining because you are so attentive and you see the details, maybe not everything, not yet but none of us did and you are still learning the basics of the people and the world (there is a lot to unpack "It'll get easier" - Jorah Mormont). Are you using the subtitles? it helps if you don't mind them on-screen. Having said that, you have to edit these reactions so you're going to catch up on stuff you may have missed the first time. It's still very early in the show so don't feel pressured by any comments or thoughts of your own, just keep doing what you're doing, you're entertaining the hell out of me. Take care Mair & Sophie.
Big advice - Do not use google for anything before someone that you trust and who watched show checks it if its spoiler free, hopefully if you have moderator or someone to help you out when you need some info, watching end of season lore for season 1 can be helpful, got map if someone trusted can send you is helpful to remember places, always check with someone trusted to see things before you do, this show has lots of things that can spoil it for you, please just be careful with googling.
Tyrion - Tee•ree•uhn Viserys is the third. The new show House of the Dragon takes place almost 200 years prior to these events with a character Viserys the first of his name Ned’s face changed when you could hear all the sounds of real swords, flashing back to his time being away at war so there’s some PTSD there. Old nan tells bran a story of the Long Night. A winter so dark and cold and long it lasted a generation. Children were born lived and died without ever seeing a summer.
When this came out on DVD they came out in seasons, each season has special features, on those special features were animated history and lore of westeros. They will explain where you are in the story, bc you are literally dropped in the middle of an ongoing story. We'd love to see you react to those, as it gives context to the series. Also the current summer has lasted 9 years, and an old saying "The longer the summer, the longer the winter" BTW that woman is fierce. i like it.
Winter Is Coming is kind of a reminder that harsh times are coming. Even in our world during the winter it’s harder to grow crop, for people to keep warm, so imagine in their universe. Like Old Nan was saying to Bran, people freeze to death or murder their own children so they don’t feel the pain of starving to death. In a world where it lasts years (even longer than the summer), Winter is a looming threat over the entire realm.
Tyrion went to the wall because he wanted to piss on top of it , thats it lol , he said it in the first episode while he was having breakfast with his family
Also, with Winters and summers, no one knows exactly how long they will last. For either of them to last many years is not uncommon. One of the longest summers in history is just ending so they are expecting a long winter. LOL, thats not the only reason people call you "Sweet Summer's Children. Something has to happen in the show for you to no longer have that tittle. Sophie said," why is it when you come from a certain family you have a certain hair color? Thats actually very important.
3x a week is an ambitious project but the community will LOVE it,lol. You can just call Daenerys 'Dany' it's what her brother calls her and easier to remember.
You should be flogged for your insolence!! That is Kaleesi of the great grass sea, stormborn, the unburnt, mother of dragons, breaker of chains, queen of the Andals and the first men! 😂
Summers average 10 years and winters 20-25 years. Don't worry you will get so much information you will hardly be able to process it. Great job you 2 are awesome.
❤ love how excited y’all are for this and how much attention is being paid. Great reaction. Now for some help with the episode…. Lancel Lannister is the queens cousin and works for the king. The Lannisters are the richest family in the kingdom (they’ve said it a couple times now) so the king relies on that family for money to sustain the kingdom while he does whatever he wants. Yes Jaime killed the previous king because he was asking them (his guards) to burn people ( you will hear more of this to come)…. Dany’s marriage was supposed to be an arrangement for her brother to receive the people they are traveling with as an army to go back to Westeros and retake the throne and he’s upset because he’s not getting his way because they are clearly not going to Westeros and the khal clearly could care less about paying him for his wife. Again loved the reaction.
The reason why the word Nepotism exist is because was a very common practice in the past, is you have a family that needs a job or a better status you just help them, and they help you too. I read somewhere that Nepotism comes from the word Nephew.
Hahaha I've watched this show countless times but hey whats one more, its always great to see new people fall in love with it all over again just like I did. Great reactions anad its crazy how Sophie always predicts whats about to happen haha.
I started watching these yesterday, forgot to subscribe, and had to dig through my history to find you guys again. Subscribed now, lol. Great reactions - I love how well you're absorbing the world and the story. 💚
Two moons is meaning 2 months…It takes about 28 days for the cycle between full and new moon. Back in the day that’s how they measured time and where we get the word month..”Moonth” And yes, in this universe summers and winters can last multiple years, that’s why winter is so bad. It could last longer than what good you have and you aren’t growing anything in the winter.
Yall ain't ready for what is to come! Each episode gets better and better. Yall will love some characters yall will hate some characters . Lots of shocking moments to come . And I'm here to watch yall react. Such a great series
Jaime actually doesn't want power; he just wants Cersei and to be a knight. Remember in the first episode when Cersei wanted him to be Hand of the King and Jaime said he wasn't interested.
Lannisters are respected because the father of the family "tywin lannister" father of jaime, cersei, and tyrion built a strong and rich house. When you met with tywin you will understand what I mean
When I first watched this show I remember thinking how dope the whole concept of long and short winter's was. It reminds me of like an ice age. It's as if they live on a different planet with a different orbit of their sun, and something to do with the wobble of the orbit causes the seasons to change duration! Old nan said when the white walkers first came the winter lasted a generation = 25 years!
They do live on a different planet. Its high fantasy. It takes place completely outside our reality, time, and universe. I always see people saying things like "back in that time" in relation to things in this show - but this could take place in what could be conceived of as "our" far future. This world, even though the costumes, customs, accents and visual cues are an amalgamation of history in several European and Asian regions, isn't on our planet. It's just shorthand for audiences to ground themselves in the story. We don't spend a lot of time trying to figure out the visuals because they seem familiar. We can just watch and enjoy.
Lets goo, again thanks for starting this show, and for all the work to get uploads for us so fast as its big show, enjoying your reactions and always looking forward for more, be it GoT or Boys or Breaking Bad, you became one of my fav reactors to watch on yt.
Jorah Mormont is the man who hangs out with Daenerys and her brother Vicerys. Jorah Mormont is also the son of the Lord commander of the Night watch. The place Jon Snow is staying at.
TIRRY-on. Listen to what people say, don't rely on the subtitles for how to pronounce things! The way it's spelt, it could easily be TIE-re-on. You'll meet another character with the same two letters at the start, and in that case the sound is completely different! Same with Daenerys. Everyone in the show says it right. There's no US at the end. Day-NERRIS. In the books, each chapter is told from one person's point of view. In the chapters for the Khaleesi, she refers to herself as 'Dany' and many viewers do too. But all of that nonsense aside, these have been three really entertaining reactions. I wish you could make them a little longer - I'm afraid I can't afford too many patreons. You're really picking up on things that take other people ages, like Jaime killing Dany and Viserys's father. Great stuff.
Great reactions! I'm looking forward to your next uploads. Be very careful looking up stuff on the internet. There are spoilers everywhere, and the experience is way better if you aren't spoiled.
Winters can last more than a lifetime here. When the old woman was telling Bran the scary story about 'The Long Winter', she says something like 'children were born and died in the darkness'. There's no sun in the winter so some lived their whole lives in the dark without ever seeing sunlight. Right now, it's been summer here for many years so younger people were born during summer and have no idea what winter is like, so they are 'sweet summer children', like you guys, as were we all, before we experienced winter for ourselves. They're predicting that the winter to come is going to be a long one.
you guys are right the seasons move differently here. Imagine winter lasting for 12 years. For people who live in alaska that might not be too different but for people who live in cali and florida that would be deadly
Don’t read the comments to avoid spoilers just react to “ history and lore season 1 got” after you finish the first season, you will understand everything about this word.

I honestly can’t stand how reactors always miss the nightmare situation that Sansa was put in. She basically had 3 options. Option 1: she lies fully and backs up Joffrey considering he’s going to be king one day and she’s going to marry him and he is crazy enough to remember her turning against him. He’d make her life hell if she didn’t back him up but by doing so she’s going to get her sister in trouble for attacking the heir and would be severely punished if not even killed. Option 2: She backs up her sister but by doing so she is directly calling the heir a liar. As much as the king obviously doesn’t like his son he can’t tolerate two girls calling him a liar especially when he’s the one injured. So not only are they going to get punished for injuring the heir but they’ll also get punished for calling him a liar. Then there’s the added issue of Sansa is still going to have to marry him and now he’s going to remember that she called him a liar publicly and “betrayed” him. If he’s sadistic enough to torment a butcher’s son just for playing imagine what he’s going to do to his wife who betrayed him and made him look weak Option 3: Sansa doesn’t pick a side. She doesn’t call either person a liar. They can’t severely punish Arya because they can’t prove she attacked him. Joffrey can’t punish her for betraying him because he can’t prove she doesn’t remember how it started. Overall this was the safest option. Sansa didn’t have to betray her sister or her future husband. Also keep in mind that’s she’s literally a child??? A child forced to pick between two people she cares about and if she makes the wrong choice either she, her sister, or her wolf would get punished or even killed.
Winters had lasted longer than a generation in the past. That is about 20 years, I think. Could be just a shorter year-long one or a freak one. You must be ready summer children.
Tyrian… Tyrian Lannister lol I’m new to y’all channel so I got some reactions to catch up on but I hope by now your saying his name right 🤣 no hate all love keep going.
Jaime : burn them all She with the quickness : he lying If that thousand yard stare PTSD face that dude had while telling the story made you immediately think he was lying, then you gotta work on ya body language detection game. "Because he is married to the sister that's why all her cousins and family work there or live there maybe?" - lol it's more symbolic of the Lannisters being the real power behind Robert's regime. The Lannisters have surrounded Robert with their own men. All their people are in the key positions of power. Robert didn't chose it, the Lannisters left him with no choice.
Sorry I'm late but, as a swordsman myself, you don't have to be that strong. Or at least no stronger than you have to be for any other type of fighter. Swords are not that heavy, and the way you throw people is mostly with body mechanics and technique. I'd say John's training sword in that sparring match probably weighs about 3.5 lbs.
Ned fought in two wars, and was having a touch of PTSD and having a flashback while watching his daughter train. The reason nobody believe the deserter about seeing White Walkers is that according to their historical tradition, they haven’t been seen for 8000 years. Those histories were written thousands of years after the fact, and nobody actually knows if they are fact or myth. It is like if someone had said they had been attacked by a leprechaun or Bigfoot. Nobody is going to believe you.
People are calling y'all sweet summer children because .. your like Sansa Stark right now 🤣.. your gonna be shaken to face some realities in this GOT world This show is fantasy Inspired by myths and real historical people . They change the legal age for marriage in some states not too long ago - you use to be able to get married at 14 so again ... this is not far from reality.
Why do cousins have the same last name? That's what happens with family. If you're a guy and your brother gets married and has children your nieces and nephews.. have the same last name as you.
If you noticed at the end, the wooden swords clacking, then Neds face starts to change as the sound of wood clacking turns to metal ringing.
Yes, PTSD flashback.

You guys are both correct. PTSD symptoms differ from person to person and in severity. The clashing cause flashbacks and also future concerns.
I can’t believe how fast y’all are learning the names and making the connections between the characters.
Thanks guys, that was as enjoyable for me as the last two uploads. lovin these reactions
Your GoT reactions are very cool, thx for sharing. I'm waiting for your reaction on The Matrix movie and keep on doing GoT.
Im sorry to write here about this , but how does patreon work? How do i watch uncut?
YES YES YES! Y’all don’t disappoint!
Im here for it
don't google the names you will get spoiled.
Another great episode!
Everyone knows Jaime killed the King. He's called the Kingslayer.
Time actually passes the same - two moons is like two fortnights so roughly a month
A moon cycle is 28 days, therefore two moons are roughly 2 months
@@Cavpal I thought I might be wrong, I stand corrected!!
Seasons are longer and harsher in this universe, summers can last more than a decade and winters usually last 20-30 years
