- Have you ever wondered where Darla goes after she runs away from Skinny Malone in Fallout 4? Darla's parents sent Nick Valentine to find her, believing she had been kidnapped.Instead, she had become the lover of a local gang leader, and while Nick was searching for her, he got caught and was locked away in the overseer's office. After you free him, near the exit of the vault where he was held, you encounter Skinny Malone with Darla. Depending on your dialogue choices, she might break up with him. She then runs towards the exit, and you can hear her say this phrase. But where does she actually go?
"I shouldve never gotten mixed up with someone from goodneighbor" says Darla sitting in Goodneighbor😂
Well the game does disable her for whatever reason. Looks like killing them both is gonna be my main squeeze from now on.
Oh, she’s never gotten the chance to run away in any of my playthroughs.

If she survives the escape from Vault 114, you can randomly encounter her near parsons state insane asylum.
How fitting, considering how deranged she is.

I ran into her along the railroad tracks doing the Kellogg search mission. She just walked right by the Yao bear.😮
I followed her to good neighbor once and bumped into the vault salesman. Sent him to Sanctuary, only he never made it there. Found him dead in downtown Boston. I used his body as a way point the rest of the playthrough walking around on survival 😅
Dude has the worst luck he should of increased his luck stat because first hw got left outside the vault then got nuked became a ghoul then when you help him by sending him to Sanctuary he dies in down town Boston
@@GrandLynx-kp2zi he died jus recently on my survival save so i reloaded my previous save to keep him alive. One of these days imma escort him to sanctuary
Just cause you’re dead doesn’t mean you can’t be useful.
@@thyme1483 I am new to fallout but can't you just rest or quick travel to make him teleport to the desired destination?
Rest maybe.. but you cant fast travel in survival mode, this mode make you need to eat, drink water, sleep, and medicate yourself, if you not, you get sick. Aaand you can just save the game sleeping and cant fast travel

I found her wandering around near the insane asylum for some reason. Happened in multiple playthroughs.
If you take over abernathy farm with the radiers. The 3 people at abernathy farm go to good neighbor. But then i gave them their farm back with an older save.
That's cool. It's weird to me they disable Darla though.
I ran into Skinny at the shack just south of the Drumlin Diner - he said his gang kicked him out and if he wasn't so nice he'd slug me. :)
Bruh I on my first playthrough killed them all even before I could see dialogue
And i used the pig launcher which deals more damage than an actual fat man mini nuke launcher😂😂
When I encountered her I didnt know you could free her so i threw 3 plasma grenades and they died instantly.

This reminds me of the time I found Darla running along the railroad tracks near Tenpines Bluff. Absolutely no idea why she was that far north.
i once found her still walking about the commonwealths irl months after i did that quest 😂
I remember on one of my first save files I was exploring the Commonwealth, I believe it was somewhere near the northeast part of the map or North West I genuinely don't remember, but I saw her just walking down the road
I didn’t even know that you could make them break up I just chucked a nade at their feet and watched them burn lol
If you confront the overboss colter with a power armor the dialogue will be different

@Loryplayz I did this last week 😅 I just wanted to see what was in that hole in the wall above the locker room, so I jetpacked up there. The game developers think they're funny for what they put up there 😢 😭

If you go with the Silver Shroud armor, the dialogue will be different too.

Didnt know you could tell skinny to tell her to get lost
I was today years old when i learned that there is a version of this where she survives
I had a rule as a sniper build, NEVER leave behind loose ends. She got killed along with the rest. Never leave potential enemies behind who may later rise to strike at your rear.
I HAD intended to spare her for Nick to do with her as he pleased, but when I headshot dropped Malone, the rest INCLUDING Darla open fired. So she got killed along with the rest. Sorry, Nick.
Final note, afterwards I kept an eye out for ANY leads towards Darla's parents. But I never found them. Methinks the Devs missed a follow-up opportunity for at least an Easter Egg regarding Darla's family or a possible mini-arc involving them.
No. They are video game characters. As soon as they are out of sight, they are despawned.
She didnt leave in my storyline. They are all still down in the vault
I've play this game for hundreds of hours and I didn't know that she could leave the entrance

Forgot I put down a few mines outside Skinny's Vault... when I went to leave I found bits of her all over the entrance 💀
Ah, first time I played it, I was new to the whole 'talk your way out of anything' mechanic. I just started blasting. I believe she was caught in the crossfire...
No I’ve never wondered it because both times I played Fallout 4 I killed Skinny, Darla and the two goons.
I didn’t know that you could talk to them. Probably because I chucked 2 grenades when I walked in.

Random encounter and named npcs should live in the world after thier events not deleted.
A few mod creators will have thier side characters and Random encounters show up in goodneighbor and rotate hotel Rexford and the 3rd rail or show up in diamond city and the dugout.
A few show up in Bunker hill.
Tales of the Commonwealth is one that has old quest and Random encounter npcs still living in the world.
She ran into a mine that I forgot I put on the stairs in the station and died. Ooops

Thanks to the Lovers Lab mods, she goes directly to Sanctuary, where she gave birth my sons number 12 to 20 😂
In my play through I killed Darla at the stairs with a mine by accident because I forgot I left a mine there while killing the trigger men 😅
She never survived my playthrough. 😅 I convinced her to attack skinny malone.
I actually got sad when she ran away on the first time that I played. I wanted my companion using her dress
She died because I used the spray and pray.

I feel like darla should’ve returned in far harbor, she kinda has that accent and it would prob make sense, it’d prob funny/awkward if you met her in the last plank talking to her parents about being ‘released’ by skinny, and you walk in with Nick

On my playthrough, I made her kill Skinny, and then when all the dust settled, I also killed her. No witness, all loot, all converted to caps. 😂😂😂😂

I was wonderingbif you could encounter her with valentine as a companion.
But, i think you must encounter her to make valentine as a companion.
One of my playthroughs my companion forced me to kill everyone.
Valentine said something about me killing them. I dont remember exactly what he said though. Something about not getting paid by the parents.
