I haven’t hit the slopes in seven years, not since before I was pregnant. I can’t wait until the kids are old enough to learn how and we can get into it as a family!
Very informative thanks, would love to see a video splurge vs save items for skiing. I.e. splurge on jacket, save on base layers. I’ve also notice that no one really talks about different base/mid layers depending on weather. Skiing vail in Jan vs March. Also, what does everyone do with their long hair? Again thanks for the video, found it super helpful.
Hey Kim great video and spot on. I am still skiing at 64 and hope to ski into my 90’s! I have a ski vacation planned for a fancy place in the alps over Christmas. I am looking for tips for packing ski stuff as well as I need to dress up at night for dinner. I have done this before at the same resort but I won’t get my free military bags this time ;(.
Vests aren’t necessary like a base layer or the outerlayer. I LOVE my vest as a mid layer because it keeps my torso warm and gives my arms a freer feeling in my jacket.. with other mid layers, I start to feel like the kid from the “ A Christmas Story” movie.. best to wear what keeps you warm and dry.

This is a great idea! I usually tuck my hair in my neck warmer or I put it in braids.
